They are trying to argue that me clicking to view more for a membership I had previously for years before discontinuing—and trying to edit payment is me authorizing a non refundable fee of 7.99!! How do you figure that?? I canceled immediately once I realized my mistake and they strung me along for 2 chat agents before informing me I couldn’t get a refund anyways because the membership = non refundable charge.
I should’ve seen them for what they are, I used their service all of college and now they are entrapping me when I can’t afford to keep a subscription of 7.99. What a shady company.
Complaint About Spoiled Salmon Fillets and Poor Customer Service
I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Gopuff. I ordered seven salmon fillets that were on a reduced price due to a short shelf life. The packaging stated a sell-by date of August 3rd. We stored the fillets correctly in the fridge, within safe temperature guidelines.
However, when we opened the package on July 31st—three days before the sell-by date—the fillets had an awful smell. Despite this, we cooked them to be sure, only to find they tasted completely off and were clearly not fit for human consumption.
We reported the issue through the website, which was not particularly user-friendly, and explained everything. The response we received was that we should have reported the issue within 48 hours of purchase. That makes absolutely no sense—how can anyone report a sealed product as spoiled before opening it, especially when it's within the valid sell-by date?
To be told there was "nothing they could do" is unacceptable. This was a clear case of selling spoiled food, and the dismissive response just made the situation worse.
I expect a refund at the very least, and a review of your food safety and customer service policies.

Didn’t want to put any stars but I ordered yesterday nearly £40 worth of groceries that never even turned up I thankfully received a full refund so today I tried again I’m now missing most of my groceries now I can’t even feed myself or my family because they decided not to pack the groceries which is just lazy I’m absolutely disappointed in this company don’t waste your money unless you wanna feel like you have been robbed another thing I would like to add is that if you do ever decide to go here don’t spend quite a bit of money unless you feel like getting the piss ripped out of you it’s happened to me twice now I’m never ordering from this company EVER AGAIN!!!!

I didn't want to give any stars at all I placed an order at 3:34pm and was told by multiple so called agents a driver was assigned it's 7:15pm I never received my order waited for 4 hours until I finally decided to cancel. I will never ever again order from here. Not to mention they be so quick to take your money off of a card and make you wait 3-5 days for a refund and they lied and told me they gave me $10 credit for the delay and I have no credit. Wish I could give 0 stars… being buying of Gopuff for years and spent so much money and now they have robbed me.
Ordered 4 items the other night, 3 was missing and the driver said that’s all he was given, clearly complete BULL! So contact customer service all to just get bloody robots and not an actual human.
Then I contacted there email and showed pictures that it was only 1 item and they keep refusing to give me my money back.. if it was £5 not a massive deal but I spent £47.69, never had a issue with them before and this has put me off ordering now. Don’t order from them because clearly they will steal your money.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – Constantly Sent Near-Expired Food
I’ve given Gopuff (Canton, Cardiff) multiple chances, but I’m officially done. Every time I place an order, they send food that’s either expiring the same day or has barely a day left. It’s beyond frustrating.
• I ordered bread and it had just 2 days left before expiry.
• Bought 8 pints of milk—1 day left. Seriously?
• The pasta sauce I received was already expired that same day.
This isn’t a one-off issue—it’s a pattern. I expect convenience, not a race against the clock to consume everything before it spoils. For a service that prides itself on speed and reliability, this is unacceptable.
If Gopuff wants to be taken seriously as a grocery delivery service, they need to sort out their inventory management and stop dumping near-expired stock on customers. Until then, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

It’s OK to order beer or liquor. I think it’s pretty convenient. Just be careful with any kind of like food. The mango was like never ripen but as far as beer is concerned and potato chips, they can’t go wrong and they get pretty good with ice cream too lot of times the drivers get lost but they wave the fees

Don't refund missing items.
Do not buy from this company. I wasnt refunded for items I never recieved. I will be contacting consumer trading standards and reporting this loss and ive screen spotted all communications to show how unhelpful go puff is. I will never order with go puff again and will be closing my account. Go puff drivers are theives and customers have no protection.

It is now March 24, 2026. Lindsay At Ardmore Pa Gopuff and the rest who work there are so nice! They help me so much. I love shopping there. I changed my review eight months later because the people who caused a problem there seem to have gone away.

Gopuff needs to handle their onboarding better. Deliver Service Partners are contractors and not employees. Constantly having contractors take quizzes just to get on your platform is insane and waste of time. When you pass a quiz, you have to take another one, then another one. However you are not being compensated. This is the reason why so many Americans have problems with employers now. You all want everyone to take your quizzes without paying them. Then if they get the job, you want to pay them peanuts. People want to work but what sense does it make to have people jump through hoops to get on your platform. If anything is better to find out your customers and take them from you.

It’s clear that Gopuff doesn’t use insulated packaging or proper cold-chain logistics for frozen items. When I contacted support, they refused to offer any compensation, despite this being a clear food safety issue. Most other providers would have acknowledged the problem and acted accordingly. Disappointing experience.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would but this company is horrible. I renewed my subscription to them & they charged me $71.88 !!!!! Just for renewing when the subscription I had was only for $7.99 a month! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Awful incompetence and customer service. They delivered my order to the wrong door, refused to issue a refund, and were not helpful. They initiated a re-delivery which I’m still waiting for and it’s been over an hour. The timeframe keeps changing and getting later and later. I will never order from them again.

Had an age restricted delivery, when they went to scan the ID the drivers system broke locking him out from scanning again or contacting customer support. He had to cancel the order.
I was then told I am getting no refund on all the items despite only 1 age restricted item in there.
I contacted customer support just to be told multiple times they will only redeliver and not offer a refund. Absolute bulls**t since I received none of the items.
