Would give no stars if possible

Would give no stars if possible. Put my order in wrong for delivery time scheduled. First agent told me to call the restaurant. I questioned this because it was GrubHub delivery not the restaurant. Told me again to call the restaurant. Restaurant tells me no problem they can do it for the correct time. Guess what didn't get updated??? The GrubHub delivery time. I reach out to customer service and agent #2 tells me agent 1 was wrong, the time can't be updated. But also, it's not late because it will be here before the original eta, so they can't give me a refund or at least a coupon, since now they've messed up Father's Day dinner. I type to the second agent how annoying it is to have to chat for issues like this. He tells me there's an 800 number....

I call this number. More of the exact same script over and over again and being told "it's not late" and saying everything BUT admitting they messed up. Hung up on, called back and asked for a supervisor. The "supervisor" said his name was Elijah and refused to give me his agent ID. Took a whole two minutes to get a call reference number (326826064). And guess what? Same exact script except this time I'm told the order was fulfilled. Apparently it was left without the text/call I had put in the drop off instructions since my leg is broken and can't just walk back and forth to check.

Worst. Service. Ever.

Big thief …

I wouldn't give any star but no choice provided. Refuse to refund and only got a store credit. Please do not use this anymore this company stills your hard-earned money

Awful experience with food…

Awful experience with food delivery. Food was either room temperature or cold. Not at all edible. The driver refused to deliver to my apartment for which i I always tip an extra 4 dollars to do. I can not endorce. Also they offered no apology or refund. Buyer beware!

A BUNCH OF THEIVES!!!

Warning to anyone who follows these people. Be Leary on using their service their drivers don’t check to make sure they have your complete order and when you ask them to refund the missing items they only offer $5 credit even if that item COSTED MORE!! They are a Bunch of thieves!

DO NOT USE! Stay away from this app by all means! They will mess up your order , and they won’t give you your money back and the drivers will steal your order it’s happened to me way to many times and I keep giving them a chance trust me when I say your better off going to pick it up yourself and never using this app EVER!

GrubHub will steal your money by…

GrubHub will steal money by denying a refund when their drivers fail to deliver your order. They will seem friendly at first and even offer a $10 bonus for your troubles, but they also make it unaccessible and expire quickly. I lost money on an order where the driver was supposed to receive a code from me... They gave me "store credit" instead of refunding me. That seemed okay at first, but after the 3rd time this happened, it was just a money grab. They refused to send any of my money back to my debit card. They admitted they couldn't contact the driver, admitted the drivers never dropped off the orders, and still refused to give me my money back that they'd collected from multiple orders they failed to deliver (to a very easy to find home address). The whole company is a scam.

Grubhub told me they couldn't get me a…

Grubhub told me they couldn't get me a refund because my order was marked as delivered more than 24 hours ago, but it still had the damn estimated delivery time from yesterday on the orders screen. THIS COMPANY JUST STOLE MONEY FROM ME AND THEY ARE ALL OF THEM CROOKS.

Never Using Grubhub Again

This wil be the last time I'm using Grubhub. It's honestly a 50/50 toss up on whether or not I'll ever actually get my food.
There's always something wrong with them. Either the damn driver is incompetent (can't drive, doesn't know where locations are, rude, or aggressive). Too many times I've had my orders canceled for no reason and I don't even know if it's the resturant or Grubhub. Today I ordered something SIMPLE (two burger meals, and two pies) from Burger King. Not only did the driver call to tell me it was the 'wrong location' which it wasn't. I can see it on the GPS map they have for Grubhub to track the driver. They even said they don't have my food which made no sense. I even told him the location (which I shouldn't have to) through text because he wouldn't pick up the phone. (Something these drivers don't do ever). I tried ordering again at the same location and it got canceled as soon as the driver got there. (Note these were 70$ orders I got from the same location before in the past, so I am assuming it's Grubhub's fault). I usually defend this service as better than Doordash, but I really can't anymore. Don't bother with Customer Service, they just use AI robots and if they don't, wow. They really are god aweful. I don't know what has happend to Grubhub but it's not worth it anymore. I'm not giving it another chance unless I have something for free or a heavy discount.

It's not even about getting a refund which I have no issue getting. It's the constant BAD SERVICE. If you provide a service, I don't expect to wait a long time just to be told you can't help me or provide said service.

Never received my wendy's order from…

Never received my wendy's order from June 11th. Im still waiting on my refund from them. Their priority deliveries are never on time. They take an hour for anything you order. I won't be using them anymore ever.

Worst delivery companies ever!!

Worst delivery companies ever!!! They constantly mess up my food, or are super late. If you have to many refunds because of their screw ups or the divers you can’t get a refund!!!! I will never order from them again and I was VIP!!! Grub hub you absolutely suck, do better!!!! They cancel my orders all the time!!!

What a rip off

I placed an order with Grubhub and I was supposed to get free delivery because I'm an Amazon subscriber but they charged me anyway. Also, the site didn't allow me to choose the tip. So I was charged for service, delivery and a 22% tip. I will never use them again. Uber eats would have been over $8 cheaper as well.

I cannot recommend this service to…

I cannot recommend this service to others. My home surveillance system captured the entire delivery process, from the package arriving on my porch to the items being removed from the bag and served. I identified missing items, which were clearly documented by my cameras and subsequently provided to their team. The resolution offered, a $5 Grubhub credit, is insufficient given the value of the missing items. I expect a full refund for any items I paid for but did not receive. Consequently, I will be engaging my legal counsel to issue a demand letter..

Not going to work for large families

Here and there, I would have something missng from my orders. I have a large family and the larger the order, the more common mistakes are. There was one order in particular I spent over $100 and when the driver dropped off my food, it was form the right restaurant but it wasn't even my order. It was a $46 order with two meals inside. The ticket said "Door Dash". I requested a refund and they only allowed me to get $75 back. After attempting to "chat" with their AI program more than once, I got shut down and told they already refunded me and they would end my chats as soon as they began. Then for the next 5 orders, drivers were chasing me down to share a two-digit pin in order to receive my food as though I had committed a crime. So if my phone was on silent at 10pm, I'd get a ring on the doorbell, waking up all the kids, dogs barking. All requests for no contact were ignored. Now I don't use Gub Hub. Guess what finger I'm holding up?

@Grubhub Pro tip: if you cancel a customer's order twice in two weeks — including one during a business lunch — don't offer them a free trial of YOUR paid service as an apology. Twice. And definitely don't address them by the wrong name. Asking for a $30 credit apparently requires more authority than anyone at @Grubhub has. 👀

Grubhub customer service is horrible!!

Grubhub customer service is horrible!!! Their driver delivered someone else's order and not mine and refused to help me. They then sent me a link that did not work and then refused to send me another one when that link did not work and they refused to do that. All I was asking for is to get my order. Every time I asked for a supervisor they would tell me they were a supervisor. This is all crap!!!!

Waited almost 2 hrs for my food. They said they was going to refund my money plus 5 dollar credit and still give me my food. Instead they canceled the whole order. AI or whoever is running your chat do not know what they are doing! I will be canceling my subscription

Grubhub lost my business.

Grubhub lost my business because they hire non-English speaking drivers who don’t bother to read the driver notes and only follow GPS like mindless fools. Their mapping system doesn’t take the drivers to the right location and the drivers don’t care if they drop off the food at the wrong location. I switched to DoorDash whose mapping system takes the drivers to the correct location and I don’t have to worry about my food being delivered to the wrong location because of drivers who don’t speak or read the English language. Shame on you Grubhub!! This review is forcing me to put in a date but there are so many dates when my food was delivered to the wrong location and I am sick of it. Grubhub should use the same mapping system the DoorDash uses!!

Terrible service

Terrible service. My food arrived over an hour late. When I tried to contact support for a resolution, I was met with unhelpful automated responses. When it did seem like I was talking to an actual person, they were not helpful. I will be deleting the app and using DoorDash service from now on. Their customer service has been way more helpful in the past for me.
