Grub Hub treats their customers…

Grub Hub treats their customers horribly. I'm a graduate student and they took advantage of me. They mostly take advantage of students, senior citizens, minority groups, and veterans. Please do yourself a favor and go to Uber-Eats.

Complaint Against Grubhub-Non-Delivery and Refusal of Reimbursement

Complaint Against Grubhub – Non-Delivery and Refusal to Refund I placed a food delivery order through Grubhub on Thursday evening and never received the order. After noticing a delay, I attempted to contact the driver but received no response. I then spent approximately three hours communicating with three different customer service representatives via chat. During these interactions, I was repeatedly told that my order was “on the way,” which turned out to be inaccurate. Each representative instructed me to cancel the order, which would have placed responsibility on me rather than addressing the failure to deliver. I declined to cancel for that reason. Eventually, the order was marked as “delivered” approximately three hours later, despite no delivery being made. I documented this with photos showing that no food was received. This delivery was marked delivered by the driver at 8:35 PM on Thursday with blank photos and no delivery. I have a Ring camera showing that nothing was ever delivered. following day, I left town early Friday morning and returned Monday. The order was still not present, confirming that no delivery occurred. I contacted Grubhub again on Monday and spent over an hour on the phone and chat. While one portion of my order was refunded, Grubhub refused to issue a full refund, despite clear evidence that the order was never delivered. This experience reflects serious concerns, including: - False status updates indicating delivery - Lack of driver communication - Misleading instructions from customer service - Refusal to provide a full refund for undelivered goods I am requesting a full refund for the undelivered order and for Grubhub to review its customer service practices, particularly regarding accountability and transparency. Consumers should not have to rely on credit card disputes to recover funds for services that were never provided.

Driver delivered my food to someone else...

Driver delivered my food to someone else. Not even on my street. I don't know how that is even possible. I received an insult of a credit, that expires, because Grubhub had to pay for a re-delivery. I barely got back the tip I gave the driver to deliver my food to complete strangers. Not my fault or problem, but my kids suffered having to wait close to 2 hours to eat. I've never been treated so disrespectful in all my life and it sucks because I gave them so much business. Not anymore.

First time ever using it and last

First time ever using it and last. Wendy 10 mins away took 2 hours to get here. Ice cold. Reported it and they wouldn't cover the costs but rather cancelled and offered me the same 60 day trial of their premium service that everyone else gets. The first agent I reported it to disconnected the chat as well so she didn't have to deal with it. Worst food delivery app of all of them.

COLD and HARD

Food was cold....took over an hour...second time giving them a try because my first experience was bad I should have stayed away and from now on I will. The first time I used them took almost 2 hours and the food was cold and hard...this time took over an hour...cold and hard!!! I ordered from the location closet to my house the order came from the location across town...thats crazy !!!!NEVER AGAIN🖕

I made an order and they billed it…

I made an order and they billed it twice on my debit card and refused to refund one charge back . I had to contact my bank the next morning. I will never use them again and tell everyone I know how horrible they are.

Grubhub SUCKS ‼️

Of course you have No choice but to give a star ⭐ when the service SUCKS‼️ I'm reading the comments before I left mine and clearly the owners of Grubhub can give 2 clucks💯 There should be some type of screening and every delivery driver should have completed a safe and serve class. The people they have delivering the food, half of them have dirty hands, dirty clothes and filthy cars 😡. I understand safety is a priority, but bringing strangers to my home just for a happy meal seems suspicious to me. They eat your food, drink out your cups and never deliver a hot meal 😡. This may have been a great convenience when Covid was affecting the country. But at this point have your food delivered by the actual place and not Grubhub‼️ I never have a problem when it's the actual delivery people from the place, I've placed my order from.

My advice to anyone who thinking about ordrring grubhub …

My advice to anyone who is thinking about ordering from grubhub is dont do it. I will never be ordering from grubhub EVER again because of one experience, I was at an event being held at a school for three days. I decided to order coffee and a few of my friends, then my dad asked me if I could add a sandwich onto the order because he forgot his lunch. The ETA on the order was 1:30pm the first problem was that they didn't get there until about 2:30 then the guy handed me four coffees I asked him where the sandwich was and he informed me the coffee was all we had, so asked if I get it refunded, he told me to get in touch with grubhub. So I called them and FINALLY they picked up the phone. I explained what happend and they told me I couldn't get a refund. I asked who i could contact to get one and they *rudely*told me (this is word for word) I'm sorry miss I am the highest line of contact, you're gonna just have to suck it up this time goodbye. When I told my dad he told me he'd call grubhub again to double check (also to tell them they were rude) says pretty much the same thing I did and then said "franky, I'm a little more upset your customer service told my daughter to suck it up" and they HUNG UP. We were unable to get a refund for the sandwich and both decided we won't be using grubhub again. I would not recommend it no matter how much you are in need of coffee

The last time I ordered through grubhub…

The last time I ordered through grubhub was in January 2026 because the driver decided to make my order the last one to be delivered and everything was cold the nuggets were hard because I had to reheat everything so my meal was not appetizing at all.
So I decided to place an order today 04/17/26 because I get two 35% off promotions in one week.
Beware of the SO-CALLED 35% discount because you don't get it. I ordered something 04/17/26 and my total order before the so called discount was $33. 22 it was suppose to be applied at the check out it was not so I called grubhub and spoke a cheryl and after acting unconcerned she claimed she put 35% off but I did not get that I only got $8.14 off which was a total of $25.08 when it should have been $23.22 with the 35% off discount that I did not get.

So now it looks like I will discontinue ordering from grubhub just like I did with doordash and uber eats they are all PATHETIC CROOKS.

Ordering flowers for my mothers birthday who has cancer..

Trying to order flowers for my mothers birthday who has Cancer and is 1800 miles away. Was suppose to be delivered at 7:00-9:00am and here we are at 2pm on the third different order because they can't get there s**t together. Called customer service with no help. Called again and again, got a manager who hung up on me. Worst company and service ever!!

Only wants your money

Only after profit but not honest enough to help with identifying to police the delivery driver that causes property damage and drives away. Not worth using when this kind of deceit is practiced.

HORRIBLE Don’t Do It!

HORRIBLE! This is the third time they were more than late! The driver drive outside of the city and the delivery time kept going up! They wanted to offer $7 for a refund! Don’t even bother ordering form the, they are terrible!!!

No refunds

I made an order restaurant to grubhub name La Hacienda in newnan, GA when I was completing the order I realized that I forgot something. Followed the instructions to add to the order and I was charged for both. CS and I was told that they don't have the option for refunds. CS doesn't help ar all.

Bunch of dishonest employees

Bunch of dishonest employees. Prasad texted me telling me that the restaurant already started preparing my order and I couldn’t cancel it. What he didn’t know is that I called the restaurant just prior and confirmed that the order was not started. Stay away from Grubhub. Other more trustworthy companies out there to place a takeout order.
