Two times in a month Grubhub has failed…
Two times in a month Grubhub has failed to deliver. Went through the whole process then waited and hour and a half to be texted that the order will not be delivered. The food was for my niece that's in a care home so needless to say she went without her dinner. So disapointing that I will no longer use them.
Worst ever
Worst ever! Stick with DoorDash! Got off work way later than expected. GrubHub had a ton of options still available to me and my family so I went with them, first time, over DoorDash. 45 minutes into my wait I noticed the restaurant had closed, contacted support THREE time and they assured me it would arrive… only to cancel my order another 40 minutes later. At that point there was only one restaurant open. Ordered from that restaurant and again cancelled after making me wait until 2am!!! Understand I was hungry and willing to wait,and tipped $20+ dollars hoping… again contacted support with zero resolution and all AI, unlike DoorDash. Was actually warned against being banned for bad language when I simply said, you suck. Such harsh language I know 🙄 but I was hangry. Made me wait up until 3am and never got any food in $80+ orders, decent tip and begging them to just let me know the truth so I was waiting. DoorDash doesn’t allow you to order if they know the restaurant is closing and also provides real resolutions with real people!

Driver delivered to the wrong address . We let them know and they were going to replace our order . They redid the order and then canceled it for no apparent reason . I will use someone else

I order 50 dollars of food from Pe Wie food and never received my order had driver be rude and 2 customer service representative couldnt help me for a refund and one that hung up on me. Worse customer service and representation of a company how are yall in business.

If there a zero you definitely deserve it today especially having a GrubHub delivery driver picked up my order by the time the GrubHub driver picked up the order It was freezing cold so he got to me probably an hour later which the food was no longer good and was out in the drivers car back seat in the hot sun at that time it was an hour later so I called to ask for a actual refund you know because obviously I’m not gonna eat cold food and the driver stayed here in my office so he could let the Grubhub customer service no it was there fault not his because or the restaurants fault. I tossed the food in the Trash and all Grubhub offered me was a five dollar credit on the account for there shitty mistake after I had already played close to $26 bucks with a $5 tip so I am canceling the account. I’m also a prime member so I’m gonna go ahead and report them to the Amazon prime customer service tonight and let them know that Grubhub is doing that to there valued customers because that’s not right for them to be delivering food that is cold and no fault of the driver after he picked the cold food they had him deliver to another customer that was further away from me and that’s why the driver didn’t arrive until a hour later and you know not even being able to ask for a request of a refund, even though the food is no longer good at that point and you paid full price don’t use Grubhub they are horrible and you will regret it because they rip you off in fees and charges way to much to be getting robbed by the Grubhub company and then not taking accountability for there actions they lost a good paying customer for trying to rip customers off instead of fixing the problem

The absolute worst customer service and their offers for making things right especially on orders over $200 is absolutely pathetic they offer to subscription that auto renews that we don't want and then as far as a credit they offered only $5 after complaining that that was kind of pathetic they then offered the max refund possible with their GrubHub guarantee of $7 I will absolutely never be using this service again

This is horribly slow service, food is always cold by the time it arrives. They change drivers all the time so food gets later and later. Screen shot the first delivery time because they change it to better suit them.

Unable to use credits and customer service was useless. Spoke with two reps who gave different answers and neither solution worked. They sounded like I was talking to a machine and did not know what they were talking about.

They literally have one job, delivering food. They just can't manage to get it right. I had surgery and couldn't get to my food as they NEVER pay attention to delivery instructions.Customer service is awful. I'm just trying to get through a gift card I was given so I can never use them again.
After repeated late deliveries
After repeated late deliveries, grubhub delaying numerous time per order and being tired of paying for cold food, I have cancelled my subscription. This after numerous times of them giving " credit' for very late orders, today I used those credits to yet again have my order delivered long after the 1 hour window they gave when I ordered. I will no longer use Grubhub. This is not the first time the order have been very late and food cold but, it will be the last time

I used GrubHub today for the 1st time.. I am so please with them. The efficiency of my order and delivery time was on point. Yes, I will continue to utilize this service and will inform others about this service. The delivery driver gets 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ too
No-contact delivery courier waited 15 mins and yelled at me. Support told me to call the police.
I selected no-contact delivery and their courier stood outside my house for 15 minutes in broad daylight, then yelled at me in front of my neighbors demanding a delivery code. No-contact delivery means no in-person contact. That’s the whole point.
When I contacted support and escalated to a supervisor, I was offered $10 credit, told to file a police report, and denied a refund. The supervisor confirmed in writing that they were declining to refund me despite acknowledging the incident (case #320744130).
The courier behavior was unsafe and the support response was worse. I’ve disputed the charge with my bank. Would not recommend.

An order was one hour late, i got an update saying it would be another hour late making it two hours! So i contacted live support told them they assured me they would infact cancel the order, and refund me. Then with out my authority the order showed up two hours late, they NEVER cancelled my order, and fully charged me. I contacted live support today and they pretty much told me "Nothing we can do" I will never spend a dollar of my money with this provider again. Absolute disgust with this company.
ALWAYS DELAYED
I live in a fairly small town (probably 125,000). Why I haven't learned is beyond me, but everytiime I order food through GrubHub, it takes forever to get the food. My current order has now been delayed 3 times and I maybe will get the food close to 2 hours after ordering. If you cancel, you don't get a full refund. The food has been sitting there so I won't be any good. GrubHub....listen.....if you can't improve your hiring of drivers then don't offer the service in small towns.
SERIOUSLY - Do We Look Stupid?
SERIOUSLY? Note: This is NOT the fault of the driver who kept me updated from the moment he got the order almost 1.5 hours late! I placed a Sonic order around 7pm at the latest to be delivered at 8:30pm. The order that sat at Sonic to be picked up arrived AFTER 10pm - cold burger, melted slushees, etc., so ... I contact GRUB HUB who gives me a $5 Grub Hub coupon worth far less than the wasted order, and why would I use Grub Hub again with their $5 coupon? I wasn't the only disaster that night, so ... it was Grub Hub. I did laugh though as it reminded me of once being stuck in a car wash for 30 minutes ... and when they got me out, they gave a coupon for a free car wash - no thank you. I'll not be back.
No driver, no deliver 2hrs later
2nd bad experience. Order never arrived. 1st said 20m then kept changing window at. Final time 2 hrs later. Canceled order. Clearly driver was not responding or coming.
Fyi this happened to me a while ago and eventually my order just dropped off like it never existed. No email. No courtesy text. Don't use them if you ever want to eat.
I feel robbed by Grubhub,
I ordered a large order of food from Wendy's and when I noticed the order being delivered was just for a cup of chili and the rest of the order was missing, I attempted to cancel the order so I could resubmit it correctly. I was NOT allowed to cancel the incorrect order. I refused the chili at the door but reassured the delivery person I would make sure they were tipped well. I then called Grubhub to tell them what happened and ask for a refund on the food I did not receive, but paid for. OFEILA refused to make it right, and I paid $18 for a single cup of chili!!!!!!!
I had already placed the order again, and at that point wanted to cancel everything. I was refused cancellation, and ended up spending $36 in delivery fees alone for a hamburger meal and a chili! The total of this little bit of food was outragious!!! I am done with Grubhub and their poor customer service. I feel robbed! I have been a very good, constant, customer to them and this is how I am treated? Nope. Door Dash and other competitive delivery services are my new Grub Hub. Ofelia, you cost your Grub Hub employer a lot of business with your very poor customer support.

last evening ordered online Dave's Hot Chicken, no problem, order and payment processed. Received text advising of delivery window - all good.
shortly thereafter a text followed advised of a "delay" and new delivery window - all good, shit happens.
as the delivery window approached, I got advised via text my driver was here? where? Followed by a text from the driver inquiring my building and unit #? Odd as I live in a private home. I asked his location and he was miles away - not even close - saying that's where navigation sent him. by driver or GrubHub unclear - but did get a text from Grubhub advising such and a credit to my account for the purchase and a $5.00 "inconvenience add" Applicable to orders within 90 days.... I replied I would like the charge to my card be credited as no goods were delivered..."not policy" I did get a bit irate and was further advised that I needed to tone it down or my account would be flagged and escalated - apparently the "customer service " team took exception to me referring to their policy as "bullshit" After escalation to "supervisor' still no resolution and no refund. I deal in retail and reversing an errant charge is a best a few key clicks = satisfied customer. You would think a "technology" company of this magnitude would have the capability to do so immediately. Or maybe the "offshore" team of Customer Service reps and supervisors are not entrusted to have that capability. You can say sorry as many times as you want - make it right. HUGE FAILURE!!!
end of saga - stress - hangry - no refund = my next transaction will be spending my money they hold hostage and move on to another provider .
