Booking site does not work

After creating an account and having to fill out a billing address my checkout did not complete because of a 404 error. I tried different browsers and devices, but all yielded the same result.
This is especially annoying, because we were told that online reservation is required, so we cannot just buy a ticket at the counter.
I tried the chat function as well to ask for help, but the chat window doesn't seem to work either. It just shows plain white.
So don't waste your time on this.

Just returned from an amazing…

Just returned from an amazing experience at gullivers world, we got an offer 2 adults and 4 children for a play and stay for £150, the park wasn’t to busy and the kids had a brilliant time. We stayed in one of the western lodges overnight, it was beautiful, warm and spotless. Had meal in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and value for money. I’ve got to mention the hospitality from staff was excellent especially from lisa and Nicola they couldn’t do enough for you. We took the kids across to the entertainment room to watch a film, they also received free milk and cookers. Fantastic day and night would definitely return.

Magical

Warrington
Rebecca (Staff) is an amazing person who will make your childrens experience more magical then already felt. Staff are welcoming. The whole day was amazing children had a lovely experience. I have attended gullivers world since 2010 throughout the years, including, held birthday parties within the splash zone. They did not fail to make my daughter's day a magical experience. Since then a number of rides/attractions have been added to the Park. I am suprised with all that has been added. The park is amazing. My daughters are excited and can not wait to experience the new ride which is soon to open this spring. An amazing day out for children/familys. Thank you for giving my daughter's a beautiful experience they enjoyed their visit & will be back.

Avoid Gulliver's Land Milton Keynes at all cost

I attended Gulliver's Land Milton Keynes with my friends and family on Saturday, 4th March - 5th March (stay and play) for my autistic daughters birthday. I initially booked three Safari lodges on 25th January. After making my booking, I realised that not all lodges came with a cooking facility. I called up to confirm if there was a cooking facility in the Safari lodge and was told there isn't. I proceeded to request an upgrade for 1 of the lodges to the Lost World Cabin as I was told it has a cooking facility to accommodate my autistic daughter. This was requested via email after I came off the phone, inorder to have an audit trail and to avoid any miscommunication and misunderstanding.

Upon arriving at check-in, I was told that the Cabin had not been upgraded. The manager Darren Hoy was called as I was unhappy and needed some resolution. However he made things worse instead of being helpful. He informed myself and my guests that there was no other cabins available with cooking facilities and told us we can come back tomorrow instead! What sort of suggestion is that! How is it OK to inconvenience people in such manner! With No apology whatsoever! No compassion whatsoever! At this point I started to get angry as the suggestion made no sense, we was spoken to in a condensing manner with zero empathy.

I did my part as a Customer. I also made sure I had proof of the upgrade. Someone had messed up and not upgraded the Cabin as requested but yet we was made to feel as though no such thing was requested and we was at fault.

I became extremely emotional and was in tears. I informed him that my child had not eaten. I specifically requested an upgrade, an early check-in and a late check-out to accommodate my autistic child to ensure I stick to her routine and she's looked after accordingly. He then proceeded to say he will cancel the booking as there is nothing else he can do and I was being emotional. Which obviously made things worse! The manager Darren stood there and smirked at me being distressed. I asked him why he was smirking, and he replied, "It is part of customer service", it is part of customer service that you smile at peoples distress instead of apologising? Never heard or seen such in my life.

Seeing I was distressed and emotional, my sisters took me outside to get some air and breath. I had so many mixed emotions as I tried my best and did my part to ensure the accommodation was suitable for my little one.

I have never been treated in such a manner in my life and was shocked to experience such. I believe Darren Hoy discriminated against us, was unfair and unwilling to help due to our race. He found it funny.

The least the manager could have done was empathise, apologise for the mess made by his team and find a reasonable suggestion and some form of compensation as the error was no fault of mine but that of a staff, instead he showed zero care, zero compassion & zero empathy.

We came to a resolution after 30 minutes. My sister suggested using the oven in the restaurant kitchen to make my daughters lunch as she needed to eat, which the manager agreed to for just her lunch. We then had to look for an argos to purchase an air fryer and a food steamer, which i am against but was left with no choice.

I 100% will not be returning to Gulliver's Land and will ensure all my family, friends and people on social media platforms are aware of the unfair treatment, which I partly have a recording of as 1 of my sisters took a recording of the incident. I will not be letting this go easily as it concerns my non-verbal autistic child. I am her voice and a voice of so many others who could potentially encounter someone like Darren and feel helpless.

Gullivers World Warrington - Wonderful

Went to Gullivers World, Warrington, after a wonderful night at their hotel. Been coming for years now, first with our children and now grandchildren. The children absolutely loved it, as always. The majority of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The two guys on the indoor ladybird ride and boat ride need to go on a course ‘how to communicate with customers’.laughing and joking when talking constantly to each other, rude and dismissive when not talking to customers, oh no one did say “get on then” to our two year old granddaughter. One chewed gum throughout. How the hell did he get a job?

DO NOT STAY OVERNIGHT HERE

DO NOT STAY OVERNIGHT HERE. Booked a last minute Dino Den number 4, for my family and i have left with severe BED BUG bites all over my arms, face and back, not just a few small bites, massive sores all over. I wrote a complaint and the 'complaints manager' Darren offered a free nights stay as compensation. I will never be putting myself or my young family at risk by staying here again. He said they have treated the den with chemicals but cannot provide me with a thorough report that any inspection was carried out. I will never be returning to Gullivers Milton Keynes again.

Filthy accommodation

We visited the park on the 10th September 2022.The main issue with the weekend was the accommodation. We stayed in a Dino lodge and whilst not expecting 5 star accommodation we expected clean, comfortable, safe accommodation which it wasn’t.
We immediately asked to be moved upon seeing the cabin but we’re told all accommodation was fully booked and as to not disappoint the children we stayed but I was very uncomfortable.

The toilet was leaking and there was a dirty old mop left in the bathroom which I assume was to clean the leak.

The sofa was filthy and I asked for an extra sheet to cover it to sit on and it was broken and extremely uncomfortable.

The sheets on one of the twin beds was dirty, glasses and cutlery was dirty.

There was not enough crockery provided, the cabin was for 4 people but there was only 2 plates, and 2 bowls.

The door frame on the main bedroom was broken and my daughter cut her leg on it.

Only 2 towels were provided for the 4 of us.

The whole cabin was dirty and tired and in my opinion needs remodelling or closing completely.

I called the hotel about the issues but got a voicemail and didn’t want to air these issues in front of other excited guests arriving so decided to write. I highlighted the issues and after a lengthy wait received a poor response offering a discount on another stay. I would not stay here again if I was paid to.

We limited our time to the bare minimum the standard of the cabin ruined our trip.

Excellent and different

Some reviews mix up the different Gulliver's resorts, this is for Gulliver's kingdom at Matlock Bath. I've been going for almost 6 years. It has always been excellent. It is aimed at under 12's but there are a few very good rides that teenagers will like. Some rides are people powered - bicycles and monorails. The park uses it's environment (the side of a gorge) very well and the magic carpet, drops, crow's nest and pirate ship appear higher than they are. The mine train is in a real cave. The ski lift is very helpful. Queues for the rides are generally short (except when school is out) but even you can still get on most rides quickly (about 5 mins, 10 on popular rides). A day ticket is quite good value (£18) as you will stay there at least 3 hours, more likely 4-5 and can make a day of it if your kids have stamina, (there are over 20 rides). NB annual tickets are really good value. They have an end of summer festival which has beautiful lighting, fancy dress and fireworks. I have never eaten there, it's just under £5 for kids meals. Staff are really friendly and helpful, The toy shops there also have weird and interesting stuff that I have never seen elsewhere. I've bought toy swords, axes, lances and Lego type things that have stood the test of time. Matlock Bath is beautiful and the park views are stunning. There is a nearby river walk and kids play parks as well. The biggest downside is that Matlock is a bit out in the sticks so it's a fair drive from anywhere to get there. Overall, excellent, one of my favourite theme parks in the UK, smaller than the other Gulliver's but better, in my opinion.

Average, not worth the money

Very average day out that really wasn't worth the money. Most of the day spent queueing with only 3 rides managing to experience. Most rides had broken carriages and staff were really slow and seeming uninterested.
Park opening times especially in the summer lead me back to lack of value in ticket prices, given that some rides then don't open until 11.30 once your in...
Save your money and enjoy a family day out else where...

Warrington Gullivers!!

Attended the Warrington Gullivers over the weekend with my 6 year old and 2 year old, and was extremely disappointed after the two hour drive. We spent 5 hours at the park and only managed to get onto 3 rides due to the extremely lengthy queues, such a waste of money and travel time.

The wait for food was also well over an hour and staff had to be told my a member of the public to wear gloves when handling various orders.

Totally gone downhill from when we last attended 2 years ago and definitely will be avoiding in future.

disgusted with how we’ve been treat. Came last year with my child who’s dad just died but arrived to a power cut. Staff took details and said they’d be in touch to rebook tickets. Nobody did and every time we call we are fobbed off with “a manager will call you”

Our local Gulliver's is in Milton Keynes. We love it. I can't understand the bad reviews. The theme park is great (my kids actually preferred it to Disneyland Paris!) And we recently visited the dinosaur farm park which was equally as good.

Overall great experience

Overall great experience. We stayed at the Wild West accommodation. Good hospitality & they go the extra mile for the kiddies like marshmallows on the fire, milk & cookies, movie... The kids loved it all!. The theme park was great it can just use a bit of a facelift. All the rides were open so we had a good 2 days of fun. One suggestion I would make is the park can keep up with bigger & better rides that the other theme park offer. We will definitely come again for the kiddies to have their fun
