Habyt pros and cons

I like the services, the ease of booking a flat, the handling of house wear and tear maintenance related affairs.
I like that the company is international and english friendly.

I dislike the inaction or laxness of Habyt in case of handling house mate related complaints.

The house cleaning service should be weekly instead of biweekly if multiple people living together.
Depending on the number of people staying at an apartment, the service frequency should be increased or decreased.

They randomly cancelled my rent…

They randomly cancelled my rent contract after 5 years with no explanation. They refuse to answer any of my tickets.
They don't even answer to the lawyer I had to hire at a great expense.

Run away

this is by far the worst company I've had to deal with in my life, the customer service is non existing. one of my roommate lost their keys and waited 4 month for a new one, we had to open him the door every time and this is just one exemple their are way toooo many.

Great Experience

How simple they made everything and user friendly. The prices are good as well and the rooms are modern, clean and helps feel comfortable.

Horrible.


I’ve received absolutely no support or assistance for any of the tickets I’ve raised with Habyt. Despite my contract still being valid, I suddenly received an email instructing me to return my keys. They claim a property manager will contact me, but I highly doubt one even exists since no one has ever reached out to address any of my issues. This organization is a disgrace to the concept of “Customer Service.”

Over booking or Fraud

After made you paid the all the fee, they claimed the room was unavailable.

Although sales made you to book and pay immediately to secure the room, they will then dispose of the contract with you arbitrarily, and claiming that ( half way before moving in) the room was double booked. Reservation is nothing,questionable Availability.

After all these, you will find that the sales was the only one who spoke about this.

Hier ist alles Super!

I could sign the rent contract from abroad before relocating to Berlin. The room exactly as in the picture. Super clean and the overall Apartment is new. All dishes present and perfect. Toilet and shower works perfectly, and wi-fi is fast and constant. Regular cleaning is carried out by external service provider. Hier ist alles Super!

Escroquerie déguisée

Uniplaces m'a envoyé un e-mail confirmant ma location, qui était à durée déterminée. Les dates de début et de fin de la location, ainsi que les mensualités exactes, étaient indiquées. Le propriétaire était Habyt.
Personne ne m'a prévenu de manière claire et transparente que la fin du contrat avec Habyt (qu'Uniplaces héberge) nécessitait un préavis de deux mois.

Je me retrouve donc soit en difficulté financière, soit spolié d'un mois et demi de loyer si mon fils souhaite quitter la location à la date convenue.

Une escroquerie déguisée

Lack of information and financial loss
Uniplaces sent me an email confirming my rental, which was for a fixed period. The start and end dates of the tenancy, as well as the exact monthly instalments, were indicated. The landlord was Habyt.
No-one gave me clear and transparent notice that the end of the contract with Habyt (which Uniplaces hosts) required two months' notice.
I therefore find myself either in financial difficulty or cheated out of a month and a half's rent if my son wishes to leave the tenancy on the agreed date.
It's a scam in disguise

NEVER USE HABYT - PLEASE

Habyt is worse than a bad landlord who doesn't fix problems and always harrases you. Habyt is a landlord with no name, no face, and no accountablity. They can do anything they want with their riduculous email ticket system. They can ignore you if there is a problem in your apartment, they can harras you with random visits from a "middle man" who whenever you report your apartment's problems to, asks you to "tell Habyt about it and start a email ticket." Habyt is THE WORST RENTING PLATFORM IN THE WORLD. The internet in my apartment doesnt work for many weeks at a time, the toilet clogs, the kitchen is full of unusable kitchenware, and our floor is broken. The landlords do not respond to any requests, and when i needed a new key, they could not provide one for over a MONTH. I encourage you, no matter how desperate or interested you are, stay away from habyt.

I suppose they take their name very seriously. The entire company has a habyt of bad customer service. Terrible experience staying there and even worse getting deposit back.
