Ordered 11th April 2022 approx 9.45 a.m. Received approx 12.10 p.m. 12th April 2022 I unpacked and fitted the handle and cleaned up by 12.40 p.m. Wow! What service. I had given up hope of ever finding a replacement uPVC handle for my door. I can't thank this company enough from my call yesterday morning with the lady who answered the phone, who was extremely helpful, to the delivery.

We are in the process of renovating a property for my stepdaughter and baby granddaughter. Existing upvc windows are sound but needed new trickle vents to replace old grubby ones. Arrived promptly, well packaged and good value for money. One minor issue where 2 screw covers were missing. Sent email to explain, reply received next day and missing items are on the way. Thanks to Laura for great service.

I was researching my issue online (UPVC window not closing to the seal) and I came across the handlestore website as it was reccommended by a tradesmans forum.
I would of saved loads of time finding this site first!

I'm starting to think the good reviews are fake.
I purchased 2 gold handles and 1 of each set opens up to reveal the screws but the other one does not.
The first handle I screwed in the screw snapped in the door and went straight threw the handle hole meaning too small. However when looking at the handle hole there's a smaller hole on the inside that fell off and is why the screw went straight threw but to snap in the door aswell?. Just very cheap tiny screws. There's also 2 very long screws that don't even fit any of the holes and are far to long for the depth of my door and both ends are required so couldn't be cut down. I emailed them and they said these are our most popular handles making me look like I'm stupid. And said both handles unscrew and it's only 1 way, which I know already and 1 handle on each set does not unscrew and is jammed or what I would call faulty. Checked the returns on the website and wow I've never seen a company state so many reasons why your return would not be accepted. Says return within 28 days, then it says your return needs to reach their store within 28 days? Well which is it? States a possible charge for re selling and stocking the item? Their admin will check for any scratches etc? It needs to be bubble wrapped just all sorts of nonsense text that is not required. There are major companies out there that don't need to state anything. Then it goes on to say You pay for the return (several times!) And it will be inspected (several times) it's like they really do not want you to return and I'll tell you what it worked because I'm not returning my items as I'm worried you'll make something up like there's a scratch and won't refund me and keep my items or charge me to send the back (equaling to the cost of the handles) not very happy as I know how to unscrew a handle and they are faulty and the screws are terrible. If you read the bad reviews there all about the return.. oh well you have made another £30.00 glad I did not spend anymore.

This is the first time I've used Handle store before I was very impressed by their service,I ordered up a DL30 cylinder lock and was so impressed with a fast delivery system I ordered another one right away,and had very good fitting instructions that went with it,I feel its a good company and will use them again in the future, thankyou for your good service!!😁👍

Purchased a new euro cylinder lock. Excellent service. Had to send a query by email & I had a reply in a matter of a few minutes. There was a minor delay with the delivery so they arranged a next day delivery for me instead. Would definately purchase from them again.

Our main entrance door broke a few days before Christmas and I ordered a new one online, paid for next day delivery and four days later had to ring the company to ask where it was - they said it couldn't be delivered until the 11th of January - I cancelled the order and called up Handlestore and the receptionist stepped up and made sure it got delivered the following day and it was all fitted within 10 minutes and we could lock the door again on Christmas Eve!

From the moment I contacted the handles store they couldn't be more helpful.
Michelle was an angel and no questions was too big or too small. Will be buying more stock from them I'm sure!

The worst customer service ever.
I spent over £500 on handles and just under 10% were faulty and would not lock. Their emails were rude and curt. Told me that in 10 years of trading they had never sold a faulty handle! Implied I was stupid and had fitted them wrong. Impossible getting returns information out of them. Like pulling teeth. I wish I had read the negative reviews before buying. I have given up. I will buy replacements elsewhere and suffer the loss. Do not shop with these awful people.

Bought a new handle and put it down for next day delivery and paid the fee for this too only to receive an email saying my order would be delivered the day after. I did email customer services to be told its only next day delivery on orders upto 2pm (I placed the order about 5pm) yet the website still allows you to request next day delivery and pay the extra (as I did). Felt a bit cheated in paying the extra for a service that I could t have maybe your website should not allow you to put next day delivery in if its after a certain time. Item was as requested and decent quality.

Only used them once, but the experience was good. Excellent and clear website, found what I wanted, ordered it, and it arrived the next day courtesy of DHL. Not a lot else to be said.

I emailed this company because I needed a special request, they replied immediately saying yes of course they could it, at no extra cost, not only that but my order arrived the next day. Very much appreciated

This is my update on my complaint which i posted yesterday. No sooner had posted my review than i had a phone from Clair at Handlestore who couldnt have been more helpful in sorting out our problem and explained what had happened and said they would post out the screws. Again my thanks to Clair at Handlestore

Missing screws with my order. I have ordered from Handlestore and can only say my first order was delivered on time and good quality. But when i ordered another 8 they again where delivered very quickly. But when i opened the box there was no screws with the handles,so i phoned them only to be told you need to send a picture showing the screws where missing Really i don't no how to send a photo,so i asked to speak to somebody in customer services and was told they will only respond to email they will not speak to customers,so the builder who is on site will have to come back when and if i can the the screws what poor service after having such a good shopping experience with them during covid. I wouldn't take out the screws and then phone up and ask for more.

Having been unable to source replacement UPVC door handles from the manufacturer of our conservatory, I used Handlestore's online Measuring Guide to identify a possible model. I emailed a query to the technical product support team, who responded within a couple of hours with helpful information. The door handles arrived within 24 hours of my placing the order & fitted perfectly. I am delighted with the outcome & the service I received.

Received my new handles very promptly, one was missing contacted the company and received a reply straight away. I cannot believe I have lived with my old brass handles for so long. The handles were of very good quality, were packaged well, I will be recommending this company to friends and family.

Can’t say a bad word about Handlestore. I ordered 10 pr of brushed chrome handles & latches, one of the handles developed a fault so I emailed customer support together with photos of the fault, after a second email the problem was sorted. The replacement handle arrived the next day. Can’t have any complaints, spot on.

Very inflexible ("computer says no...!"). From my experience I would only trade with this company if a 100% certain my order was accurate and I wouldn't expect any reasonable customer after-care to make corrections. I spent £160 on 22 items last year. Because of Covid it was only last week that I needed to use the items. I found out that in error I ordered one item the wrong size. They would not exchange it for the right size because it was after 28 day return policy even though the item was packaged and unused and they still sold it. I wasn't asking for a refund - just to replace it for a more expensive larger size. They would only send me a new single item at full cost using an expensive courier which doubled the price of the item which I think is completely unreasonable. There are plenty of other companies who are much more reasonable and flexible. The only good point that earn them the one star is their customer service response to tell me they wouldn't do anything was very quick - so at least you get the bad news fast!
