Looking back on our home insurance claim (due to escape of water) which lasted over two years; the defining and pivotal moment in the process was undoubtedly our appointment of Harris Balcombe.

From start to finish, Alex Balcombe (and his team) worked deftly and efficiently throughout, helping us navigate a traumatic and complex process. They never missed a detail or dropped a ball. Not once.

Rarely, or possibly never before have I experienced a quality of service, so consistently sustained and with such professionalism, sage advice and unflappable grace, as I have over the past two years.

I was placed in an unfortunate situation where the business had suffered a fire in 2018. I was also going through a tough period in life where my Father was very ill and the business and the property were deemed a total loss.

We were approached on the morning of the fire by Harris Balcombe introducing themselves and advised us that they could help us through the process dealing with insurers ensuring we don't suffer any losses from the fire.

I was introduced to Jeremy Balcombe and I am glad that our paths crossed. Jeremy is very knowledgeable individual in this industry and his connections are unrivalled. Whilst it was a very distressing time, Jeremy was on hand to deal with the Insurers and the appointed Loss Adjustors. This saved me a lot of time and a lot of stress in a time where I had to concentrate on getting on with business as best as we could.

Jonathon Samuelson of Harris Balcombe was introduced into the process a few weeks into the claim and he was an absolute star in assisting us too. His know how of how the insurers work, how the loss adjustors will look to save the insurers money and reduce their pay out was phenomenal.

Jeremy secured us a 7 figure pay out which ensured we could locate a new premises, set up our plant and get back to business in a timely fashion. We were up and running from our new site within 10 months and none of this would have been possible without Jeremy and his wonderful team.

We selected Harris and Balcombe to assist with our insurance claim as they were recommended to us by a friend. We are extremely happy that we decided to go ahead and use their services. Our claim turned out to be rather complicated and if it hadn't been for the expertise and experience of Jeremy, I don't think we would have had the outcome that we did. I found the service I received from Alex Balcombe was exceptional. Alex response time was amazing and he took all the stress out of the situation we were in with a flood in our house with young children. He also had a lovely manner and was kind and considerate.

I'd managed to get through life without a large insurance claim until a fridge fire gutted our flat and caused smoke damage to the flats above.
