I used Chris from Hassals and sons in August 2024 to resolve a problem I had with leaking roof; having now had torrential rain I can confirm that that their work has been excellent; the pricing was very reasonable and service was exemplary and professional. I have read reviews that they need chasing up which I acknowledge but that comes with a company that is much in demand and my job was a small one compared to the big jobs that they have. In summary would highly recommend.

Excellent service and commitment to the job. I was astonished at how John and the team were able to work to my exact requirements!

Chris came highly recommended on Facebook by local residents and when I called him, in desperate need of help, even though he was extremely busy, when he knew the situation he booked us in a matter of days.
My disabled brother & sister have recently relocated from London to Quorn and because of their disabilities they rely heavily on their tv and the routine of the same few channels that they watch all the time.
For various reasons I couldn’t get those channels for them and it was causing them a lot of anxiety.
Chris came in and sorted the issue immediately- much to everyone’s relief!
He was very professional, friendly and very kind to my siblings.
Very reasonable rates.

Had a new aerial and associated works with extensions,new sockets and booster. I cannot praise the service enough, turned up to price when they should, turned up to carry out the works on time with no fuss and no mess.
Such a great person who carried out the works.

Never published a negative review about builders before, but.... Hassall provided by far the most expensive of three quotes for roof repairs, but seemed to be efficient, so we accepted the quote in mid-September, with a timescale of 6-8 weeks. Received a brush-off in November based on bad weather (which we understood) and decided to be patient. Agreed a date with them in mid-December, but it was a no show claiming rain (it was not raining on our roof). Finally gave up on them in mid-December, over 3 months after accepting the quote.

Really helpful, friendly and conscientious professional. Explained everything, keen to show and explain the work he was going to do. Knows his stuff and was adamant not to leave until he was more than happy that the aerial and the amplifier box was set up correctly. We will certainly use him again and will definitely recommend to anyone. I don't normally leave reviews but wish more tradesman were this good.
