I hope this can be directed towards your design team…
I have bought your high-collar shirts for over 8 years.
For years, you made high collar shirts from normal fabrics; plain colours, stripes, checks and even denim.
Over recent years the high collar range has largely been of “whackier” design; jacquard, bright colours, etc.
The stores now tell me high collars aren’t as popular, so you aren’t producing as many, which is a real shame.
For me, I am not buying as many as I don’t like the designs!
Please can you go back to making high collar shirts from normal fabric styles?
Excellent store. Ordered online on 2 successive occasions. Exactly as shown on the site. Very speedy delivery, good quality, and on-the-go communication of progress of shipment. Had to return one waistcoat cos it was too small. I'm coming back again for sure.
Shameful customer service from Hawes & Curtis. I placed an order for a shoe on sale which was clearly in stock when I placed the order. I then received a email 2 days later to say the item was out of stock? The website however still had the item in stock for a higher sale price? Hawes and Curtis clearly did not want to fulfil their sale price obligation.

Never buy anything from this company. As soon as they have your money they dont care. They generate ticket numbers and then cant find them. They promise to email you then dont. They can't give you their own courier details. Generally a shower of cowboys. Spent thousands with this company and they are seriously the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Wish I could give a zero but can’t. Probably don’t have any form of company customer service training for your colleagues, but if you do, you could do with sending some of the members of your Oxford street store. Decided I wanted a refund on a jacket and trousers partly based on a shirt that I’d bought from there that had a massive stain on, fresh out the packaging. To be told that I couldn’t exchange the suit. The trousers because the legs had been altered but only based on me telling them I was a 30 inseam, apparently nobody else in the country is a 30 inseam. Then to add insult to injury tried to say they couldn’t refund the jacket as I’d tried it on! I called there bluff and managed to get a refund on the jacket and Shirt but £120 down on trousers I’ll never wear! Absolute joke. Avoid this company at all costs, it will not end well.

Helpful customer support. I had ordered a suit on Saturday evening, on Sunday there was an email announcing 60% discount for Black Friday. I was obviously a bit miffed I'd ordered at the pre-sales price and asked customer support if I could get the same discount. Sorrel replied telling me I could - which made me a very happy customer!
As a first time customer, I've had the worst experience buying this brand. Within months of buying Hawes & Curtis shirts, more than half the shirts I bought all tore. One by the cufflinks, and other two by the bottom. This left a button-size patch that makes it difficult to sew the button back. I've never had this experience buying any other brand. 3 shirts being damaged is not a coincidence. It's a quality problem.

The unfortunate thing is, I have to give one star as none is not an option.
Customer service is non existent, you just get fobbed off. I purchased several items and paid for express post - still haven’t arrived after 2-weeks. On top of that, the items were sent to an incorrect address in a different State - still have no idea how that happened and of course, was fobbed off by customer service. I had to ring the courier company to tell them to deliver to the correct address - but still, items have not arrived. If you do manage to get past a bot when contacting them, you get told to contact global-e, or contact the courier company. I’ve done both to no avail. So, why did I buy these items? For a special occasion which has now passed!
In short - do not buy from this company.

Very bad experience with Hawes & Curtis customer service for the second time, feels like things have not gotten better since they started working with Global E. My product was damaged, with customer service being poorly available. Ultimately, I had to keep on chasing and despite still being in the return policy window, I got the response it was not possible to return the damaged item (despite all tags still on). Would not recommend buying online if you are not entirely sure what you are buying.

Poor customer services and not respecting my statutory rights in the UK.
Brought 4 shirts a number of months ago, 3 shirts are still going strong however after only wearing the other 6 times it failed at the seam on the forearm - clearly a fault in the material and stitching. By UK law, they must repair or replace but have refused!!!
Such a pity as could have been a lifelong customer but not any more

"Extremely Disappointed with Customer Service and Delivery"
Order ID: 3251183
I had an appalling experience with Hawes & Curtis regarding my recent purchase. I ordered a pair of Black Leather Loafers (£148.05), and the delivery was completely mishandled. The courier left the package in a public, unsecured location without my consent, leading to its theft. Despite my efforts to reach out to both the courier and Hawes & Curtis, neither has taken responsibility or offered a satisfactory resolution.
As a customer, I expect the retailer to ensure safe delivery of my order. Hawes & Curtis, however, failed to address this, instead placing the blame solely on the courier. Under UK consumer law, it’s the retailer's responsibility until the item is safely in my possession, yet they refuse to acknowledge this. Their customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive, refusing to even file a claim with the courier.
On 25/10/2024, Royal Mail confirmed that they bear responsibility for the failed delivery, as it did not meet proper regulations. However, they also stated that only Hawes & Curtis, as their client, can raise a claim. While Hawes & Curtis previously claimed they attempted a claim but were unsuccessful, this appears misleading. Despite updating them with this new information, they have refused to respond further.
I am left out of pocket, with no resolution in sight. The lack of accountability and poor customer service from Hawes & Curtis is extremely disappointing. If you value good service and reliability, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

I purchased a dinner jacket on the 5th August 2023. It was on offer at £299 pounds. I purchased the item to go on a cruise, have worn it twice and the elbows have started rubbing up. I appreciate it was over a year ago but customer services not interested. This is terrible quality and terrible service

Never order from this company. I ordered a few suits and ties from them. It took nearly 2 months for some of my order to arrive. Most of my order has still not arrived yet and the company blamed it on the mail carrier for lost shipment. I then attempted to return some of the items and was charged $111.65 to ship the items back. This was after I spent weeks sending 2 emails a day to get a response about where the return label was. When I reached out about having the shipping costs refunded as part of my order (they indicate they have free shipping out, but make no mention of costs of return being on the customer) they refused to provide a refund saying the costs are on the customer. Nowhere on their site is that stated. Also, have yet to receive a refund for the items that were not provided or the items that were sent back. Terrible company who gets away with nothing short of fraud.

Absolutely shocking service and I will never buy a suit from this company again ! The suit arrived and was too small however i was told that i could only return the Jacket ? the trousers they advised cant be returned because " altered items cannot be returned" i explained to Rory in customer services that these havent been returned and that they are a Size: 38" (EU 54)Inside Leg: 31" which i bought in good faith from their website - they insist that these trousers cannot be re-sold on andi am now left with a pair of trousers that dont fit ! his answer was The case is closed on our end. I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you. - never ever have i come across this before - beware the website is very misleading !

A ladies executive work shirt we would like to buy a number of is showing as out of stock and when we enquired on 24th September we were advised it will not be available until mid November! On checking the website regularly, they happened to have one in stock which I ordered. Refused to give me the multi buy discount for the one shirt even though it’s their issue I couldn’t order more since they are out of stock! No means to register for a notification if an item comes back into stock.
Diabolical customer service and I believe they only get away with it because there’s very little choice for ladies executive work wear.
I emailed Touker twice out of frustration but no response. Hopefully he makes big improvements to his customer care before he’s on Dragons’ Den telling people how to run their businesses!

Their promo codes don't work.Tried twice, using HAWES20 for new Facebook customer..didn't work.
Why offer promo codes if they're not applicable?

Ordered 8 sets of cufflink and shirt studs for my groomsmen and only 7 arrived in the package. Upon emailing customer service multiple times, still no action taken 3 weeks later and the customer service team goes upwards of 5 days without responding.

I returned my shirts and received a "Refund Notification" email on 11/08 (over a month ago), which stated that the refund would be processed within 7 business days. Despite following up three times, I have been repeatedly passed around, and the funds still haven't been credited to my account.
It’s unacceptable that this process has now stretched beyond 28 working days, especially when it's meant to be automated. It's clear that Hawes and Curtis are unnecessarily delaying refunds and holding people's money which is in breach of fair trading/return policy.
This is highly unprofessional and disappointing, particularly as a first-time customer. I've noticed others have had the same issue, so this isn’t an isolated incident.
I demand that my money be refunded immediately. Simply unacceptable.

I've been a customer of Hawes & Curtis for a couple of years since getting frustrated with the rising cost of Gieves and Hawkes and John Lewis. Last year I spent about £1,000 in the store and online.
Essentially my expectations were always 'you get what you pay for' and if you buy in the sale, you can get a half decent product for the price but it will soon lose it's shape and slowly fall apart.
In August I visited for what will be the last time. I was buying a dinner jacket and the style I wanted only comes in one size so needs to be altered. This is annoying because I'm a short a*** so always buy short jackets.
But what was really annoying was that I had to pay outrageous amounts for alterations. I spent about the cost of a suit in alterations because they only manufacture one size.
I don't have a problem with them doing that but don't fleece your customers when it needs extensive alterations.
The manager put his 1980s customer service training skills to good use when he responded to my complaint with the 'you don't have to buy it' line.
Actually, I did mate because I was in and out of the UK and didn't have time to go elsewhere but don't worry I won't be back again.
I'll spend my hard earned cash somewhere else.

Suit purchased from purportedly premium retailer and worn lightly 4 times in office setting to find a series of loose threads developing in stitching and buttons falling off. Customer service/quality department disinterested and suggested this was normal ‘wear and tear’, despite giving them a couple of attempts to rectify. Totally shocking service and product. Avoid at all costs!
*** Edit - So essentially, I’ve now been called a liar following the response from Hawes & Curtis of 03/09/24. Clearly nothing more they are prepared to do. Buyer beware - if you are on the lookout for a premium suit that will literally fall apart after 4 light uses, look no further. ***
