Great Service
I was looking for orange chocolate curls on the internet and saw that HB had some. The cost was half of what it was showing on Amazon for the same product. It came within 2 days of ordering with DHL. The curls come in a rigid plastic tub (a previously ordered product came in a bag). The tubs were wrapped in bubble wrap and came in a sturdy box with paper packaging filling. Very robustly packaged and great to see that a company cares. The curls are a very deep orange/red colour but taste great and we will be using them on our dipped chocolate orange flapjacks as decoration.

Poor Service…
I ordered some Pidy products & some ambient Boiron Raspberry purée last Wednesday evening 2nd April, 2 days before Good Friday, but I had to wait until Tuesday 7th April, because HB Ingredients did not process the order before the Bank Holidays,& they do not deliver on Saturdays. I think this is so poor for a catering / food related business to operate in this manner. Also, the ambient Boiron Raspberry Puree is no where near as excellent as frozen Boiron Puree, both in taste, texture or colour. Always order frozen .

As outlined in our delivery terms, orders placed after our daily cut-off and immediately before bank holidays may experience extended delivery times, as our couriers do not operate on bank holidays or weekends.
Your order was processed promptly on the next working day which was Thursday 2nd and delivered on Tuesday 7th April, which is in line with our stated delivery schedule over the holiday period.
We understand that timing is especially important for catering and food-related orders, and we always recommend placing orders slightly earlier around bank holidays to avoid any disruption.

Items come broken and i got back in…
Items come broken and i got back in email id because i only ordered 1 unit i was allowed a refund because i never ordered 10 boxes if i would of ordered 10 boxes with the amount of broken pieces if of lost 80 pound or so proba 2 boxes worth but i would of just been happy with the replacement broken pieces as i paid full prices for broken cones

Terrible experience with HB
Terrible experience with HB. This is the third time this has happened and I have now boycotted this company for good (after giving them chances). My order was delayed considerably after realizing that someone in their packing department processed the incorrect delivery address and therefore instructions to DHL were incorrect. My order was never delivered and I lost my two clients due to the products not being delivered. This isn’t the first time where HB has processed my delivery address incorrectly. The other experience I had with HB was they sent me chocolate buttons/chips (what I ordered) and the bag of chocolate was completed ripped and the chocolate buttons/chips were scattered in the outer box - the chocolate couldn’t be used and had to be thrown away.
HB may be reasonable in a pricing point (compared to Thomas Ridley) however their customer service is shocking and terrible.
