#1 SEO invasive cookies you can't escape!!!
This website wants all your data. They publish so many articles that are SEO marketing dreams and your worst nightmare. It's actually difficult to find legitimate articles on the web because of this site and its ranking. I wonder what association they have with Google because they should not 100% of the time be my top result of any medical question I have. You cannot opt out of data choices and still view the articles, which seems EU non-compliant as there's also not a tracking free paid version. To make matters worse they've created many sub "companies" that are also some of the highest ranking so saying no to their crazy invasive spyware that you need to scroll and scroll and beware for literally any medical question EVER.
A helping hand from Healthline.com
I`m in the minority here. I`m a new subscriber to Healthline .com They cover most of the common ailments known to man and woman. I`m interested in the nutritional side of medicine. What`s sometimes known as kitchen medicine. Using mother natures ingredients rather than Big Pharma to treat and cure your ailments. Our bodies respond much better to a natural ingredient, than it would do to lab produced chemicals. "Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food" as Hippocrates said. He was a Greek physician and founder of western medicine. Hippocrates did NOT say, sell your soul to Big Pharma and sod your patients. I don`t know about you but I am sick to death of being given prescription after prescription from my GP. Modern medicine is in the business of treating diseases but never curing anything. Its a nice little earner for ALL concerned. GP`s pushing Big Pharma`s drugs and I`m the one still suffering side effects from those drugs and never feeling any better.
I find the articles informative and you can click down to view the source of that article. You must do your research though. I would balance up what I read here with other websites and books.
There seems to be a lot of negative comments about buying blood pressure monitors from Healthline .com I got mine from Boots the chemist in the high street. I also have a sugar level monitor, that I bought from them. Boots is a trusted name in the UK. I would recommend you go there. Should you have any questions, then there are staff on hand to help you.
Some reviews do not like Healthline`s politics and the fact that they do not use the word vagina, when referring to a women`s anatomy. To be quite honest with you I couldn`t care less. These days, we seem to be fixated on lukewarm topics. Some people start tying themselves up in knots about minor irritants. This world`s problems are getting darker and darker with the passing years and you are worried about grammar! Is that what really keeps you awake at night? Concentrate on your health, so you can stay with your loved ones for longer. In my opinion GP`s and Big Pharma are too busy chasing the money to care much about YOU.
Seems like a familiar problem
Seems like a familiar problem, having read the reviews. Purchased a blood pressure monitor and I was sent two . Tried to return the second monitor and have my account refunded to no avail. Over a month has now elapsed, and, despite numerous emails, I receive the same reply: 'our fantastic customer service team will reply within an hour'!! I am in the process of taking them to the small claims court which involves considerable inconvenience on my part. It is not so much the reclaiming of the monies, rather the principle of the matter. The company is clearly bogus and cannot be allowed to get away with such malpractice.
Bought a blood pressure monitor…
Bought a blood pressure monitor for£49.99. Total and dangerous piece of junk made in China. Very inaccurate readings. Same item on eBay for £8.99. Have tried to contact the company by email and phone with no response. Company should be stopped from trading.
Healthline referred to women as vulva…
Healthline referred to women as vulva owners and to men as men. It is a discriminatory website and they are not inclusive to women. A lot of people don't know the anatomy of women including women. While the health problems of women are widely unaddressed by healthcare professionals, now, they are also encrypting the information we have into a language most people don't understand. Terrible website.
They are just product advertisements
They are just product advertisements, their advice is actually quite dangerous and is purely propaganda in my opinion. Their claims are ridiculous. Ignore people who claim this site is getting their information from pubmed and is purely science based, they wouldn't know science if it slapped them in the face. Any company can do a study and get it in pubmed. The egg board for instance have unhealthy products to sell. So they make a nutrition board, peddal fake science and Healthline presents egg yolk as nutritious. Bada bim, bada boom. Lots of eggs are sold and heart attacks, strokes ant impotence goes up. Healthline has dangerous advice to say the least. They are not a trustworthy source because they don't present information, they lobby to sell products... in my opinion at the expense of your health.
Probably the most ridiculous website ever
This website is full of nonsense. For example, I had a sneezing problem a few months ago so obviously, I wanted to know how to stop it. It just told me to say the word 'pickles' and pull out a nose hair. If that's not bs I really don't know what is.
Inaccurate information, but great customer service
The consultant provided exceptional customer service, but the information available was inaccurate. I was advised the only travel covid testing available to me as a New Plymouth resident without a GP would be in Te Kuiti (2 hour drive one way). It turns out our Medi Cross in New Plymouth provides this service. This would have resulted in a minimum 4 hrs of travel, additional stress, and taking a day off work.
I feel the information available to the great staff is inadequate.
Health advice with lashings of misogyny
Healthline genuinely referred to a vagina as a 'front hole'. If that's the kind of terminology you appreciate then crack on, but know that women are smarter than that.
This website supports the erasure of…
This website supports the erasure of womens identity within the medical world. Using phrases like "front hole" instead of vagina is insulting and derogatory to women.
I never deliberately go looking for…
I never deliberately go looking for their website, because their information is always so ignorant and contradictory to what has been well established information. Yet, they are usually one of the first two or three entries that pop up, and now that I'm researching it I see it's because they are able to gather up a lot of funding, but that does not make them knowledgeable or legitimate. I don't waste my time clicking on their entries anymore, I just wish I didn't have to have their stupid website in my face every time I'm trying to do some authentic research.
Avoid This Company Like The Plague.
This Company is a fake website that takes your money but doesn't deliver the goods. I ordered a blood pressure monitor and was advised that it was on it's way but delayed because the post office were struggling due to Covid.
I have emailed numerous times and tried calling and they have ignored all my requests for a refund.
It's now being dealt with by my bank.
Avoid this company like the plague.
Funded by pharmaceutical companies…
Funded by pharmaceutical companies hence all the bad write ups on anything natural. Shame on you
This website is a con
This website is a con -
They stage reviews then recommend blood monitors £50 with one name and have sent out a totally different product. There’s no returns policy and the one they sent can be bought for £21 on Amazon -
So it’s Amazon now all the way !!
I bought a blood Healthline pressure…
I bought a blood Healthline pressure monitor. It consistently records 9 or 10 below the actual which I regard as dangerous. I emailed them on 7th May and two weeks later they still have not responded. They are not receiving telephone calls. I was immediately concerned about this company as the checkout receipt offered me the same monitor again at half the price I had just paid. I strongly advice people to avoid this company and to only purchase monitors that are medically calibrated. If my wife had died from a heart attack after using this monitor I would be asking a medical solicitor if that amounted to corporate Manslaughter.
Stay Clear of this Company
I purchased a blood pressure monitor nearly four weeks ago. After a week I sent an email enquiring about it, the company assured me I would receive it soon. I emailed again, they sent me a tracking number and this does not work as it is not a full tracked service. It is only scanned on delivery, therefore if you don’t receive it the parcel can’t be tracked. I emailed again as they do not accept phone calls, this time I didn’t get a reply. I have sent a further three emails all have been ignored. All I can say to anyone is before you make a purchase from this company think again. I would hate to see more people being taken advantage of.
Bad website
Bad, terrible website, they breach GDPR rules and regulations. Never use, stay clear of this website.
Disgraceful lack of support
The Oximeter I bought is faulty.
Health line doesn’t answer its phones, nor does it reply to my emails (4). I’m very disappointed with this company. Are they still trading? I want my money back now.
Disgraceful behaviour
After one hour questionings about my…
After one hour questionings about my health, nurse advice was not to eat surgeon tablet!!!!!( That it was prescription for me yesterday 🤣)
As we gone ahead with more questions she said you should go to emargency department, and still holding us on the phone given nonsense advice, and she wasn't able to book us in emergency department, with my bad health and excally said the name of my illness,in the end she said are you sure you are not pregnant!!!!
