The quality of the product is good

The quality of the product is good, except that I thought it was a thicker jacket. I think this brand is worth the money.
I was also pleased with the DHL delivery, the previous experience of using this delivery was very negative, it was fast and high-quality.
Although I was a little upset about the thickness of the jacket, I don't regret the money I spent.

Recommendation to the seller! When buying, I did not notice the information about the time of the year for these clothes. Since I was buying in an online store, it would be very convenient if you wrote down the time of year for which the clothes were created and the recommended outdoor temperature, this is a very good guideline for the online store.

Purchased a pair of work trousers

Purchased a pair of work trousers, went by the size guide from the Helly Hanson size guide, it was way out, tried to return my trousers but was past the 30 day returns , (as I was outside the U.K. working , was hoping parcel arrived before I left for 30 days work abroad)
Tried getting a return and exchange label off the Helly Hanson web site, but it would not let me do that as outside 30 day returns.
Tried contacting customer relations but no portal to make a complaint
Expected better off Helly Henson
Very ,very, disappointed

Whilst we do clearly promote a 30 day returns window (extended for holiday period) we are always available for an honest discussion about options if this window is missed for any genuine delayed reason.

Both product and customer service SUCK

Bought a HH drysuit for over $700 because I had the mistaken belief that products were superior. Upon second use, the rubber neck seal SPLIT, making the suit unusable (most drysuits use a neoprene seal at the neck for this reason). Upon contacting HH customer service, I was told that they would not repair the product, would not replace the product, and would not refund my money because I purchased as part of a pro deal. All I was offered was $550 in store credit. Well, I am a professional ski instructor and my new mission is to dissuade clients and colleagues from doing business with HH. Their fancy marketing notwithstanding, the products are subpar and the customer service is 100% unacceptable. For the cost of a replacement drysuit, I am going to help this company lose thousands of dollars in business sending people to other vendors. All by telling the truth. Stay away!

UPDATE: I have read the HH reply. Too bad the company's customer service isn't as good as its social media department. The company's reply is UNTRUE. I was offered a $550 store credit. But the product retails for $1100 on the HH website, was recently on sale for $895 (this was the price at the time I purchased for $720 on an expert/pro deal site) and I see today that the price has been dropped further to $660 (clearly HH is having problems selling this poorly designed and manufactured product). Any way you slice it, HH refused to replace its poor product, refused to offer me more than a store credit for a fraction of what I paid, and its customer service was even less helpful than the reply that was posted here. Avoid this product, avoid this company.

You were offered full purchase price value in online credit alongside details on repair partners, you accepted the online credit and decided not to ask for further repair partner details.

I can see that you have used the online credit recently, I do hope you enjoy those goods. Neck seals on drysuits can split if not cut carefully (or not cut enough to get head through) and this is a repair that many specialist businesses can accomplish for you (apologies but we currently do not offer in house repairs ourselves).

Once again, apologies if the service was not up to your expectations but please do re-connect if you would like assistance in finding a repair partner.

Exceptional warranty customer service

I had exceptional warranty customer service at HellyHansen. Libby was the associate I worked with. The response were timely, even thought it was holiday time, and the issue was resolved within 3 email exchanges. I’ve never had to file a warranty claim at HH before, and I highly recommend the brand as they mean it when they say that they stand behind the quality of their merchandise. My kids and I have HH ski jackets/pants, and it’s been the best gear that keeps us on hills for many hours at a time.

Good warranty, Bad follow through.

I have a ton of HH gear. It's all been great, but after wearing HH shoes for 3-4 months they both wore a hole in the same seam of the toe box. I contacted them, and they gave me store credit since they are under warranty, which was great. BUT, my account has shown $0 credit after going back and forth with them three times now. This is getting frustrating.

Poor customer service and agonizing exchange process

Ordered boots on 11/29/25 and received them in a timely manner on 12/3/25. The boots were too large so I used the online system to process an exchange. This was simple enough. Dropped off the boots at UPS on 12/6/25 and this is when everything went downhill. I did not realize until it was too late that HH does not send out the exchange until the original order is processed and you cannot cancel an order (or exchange) once it has been received. I needed the boots for a trip starting 12/23. Boots arrived at the return facility on 12/15 but the return was not processed until 12/23. The replacement boots were sent that day. Since I was out of town, I did not receive the new boots until 1/2/26. I had purchased other boots for my trip and the new HH boots were still a poor fit. Overall, just too bulky and heavy. I tried to process the return online but the online system is not able to process exchange returns. So I emailed customer service on 1/2/26 to obtain a return label. I followed up again via email on 1/7/26 as I had not received a response. I also reached out to customer service via email in December to figure out what was going on with my return processing but never received anything more than an automated response with a case number. I have no idea how anyone has reported high reviews on customer service. In my case, it’s been been nonexistent. UPDATE 1/8/25: I called customer service and while it said the wait time would be long, someone picked up the call within a minute or two and processed the return in seconds! He was efficient and friendly and I finally got my return label. So call, don’t email if you need customer service!

Great service throughout and superb…

Great service throughout and superb quality.
This was my first time ordering directly from Helly Hansen. I was initially a bit concerned about delivery times, as I hadn’t realised the items were shipping from Norway. However, the whole process was very straightforward, with regular delivery updates along the way and items arrived within the timeline given.

The ski trousers are excellent quality and fit perfectly. I did need to return the shoes as I ordered the wrong size, they were however very well made, just a shame I've not had time before the skiing trip to reorder in bigger size. The return process was simple and hassle-free. I sent the items back before Christmas and received my refund on 1 January, which was impressively quick.

Overall, a very smooth experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.

I received the wrong T-shirt and when I…

I received the wrong T-shirt and when I contacted customer support, Helly Hansen refused to send the correct item. Instead, they insisted I return the product and wait for a refund — all because of their own mistake.
This is poor customer service and not how a global brand should treat its customers. I won’t be ordering again.

Dreadful shipping logistics

HH were complete amateurs and forgot to provide DHL in Eindhoven the necessary invoice paperwork meaning the items ordered were stuck there. No updates or anything and when DHL tried to contact HH there was no response.

Good thing I had alternative options from elsewhere otherwise I'd have been stuck with HH and its lackaidisal approach to customer service.

Avoid.

p.s. this is HH Workwear I'm referring to, but still part of HH of course...

Good product

Good product, terrible customer service. After dealing with the chatbot, which was relatively painless, I got a hold of 'Nate D'. I received no acknowledgement of a service agent or prompt as to my question. I provided my question, and it sat there for 5-10 minutes before a short, non-helpful response. I asked a follow up question and was ignored for 10 minutes and then they left. Highly unprofessional when I'm trying to place an order for over $600.
