I decided if I’m going to get a hair…
I decided if I’m going to get a hair transplant then I’m going to do it properly. So after extensive researching the whole subject, including contacting 4 other clinics (some Uk based were considered) and getting on-line consultations from other companies in turkey I chose HERMEST hair transplant clinic.
Why did I choose HERMEST?
1. Surgeon led procedure, meaning only experienced surgeons do the incisions.
2. Low patient turnover on daily basis (not a hairmill like many other Turkish clinics)
3. No over harvesting of the donor area.
4. Time taken hairline design
5. Age appropriate hairline design done by Dr Ahmet Murat. One of the top hair transplant surgeons in the world.
From day one the communication with the staff was consistent and clear and any questions I had were always answered via WhatsApp.
The whole process from being picked up at the airport, the drivers, the hotel, the clinic, the consultation and all of the staff was top class.
I was a Norwood 4b/5a and had 4200 grafts implanted which took 6 hours. I didn’t drag on and I actually fell asleep during some of it.
Before I knew it I was back on the plane and home again.
Sedef at HERMEST has kept up the communication and instructions for my aftercare and all my questions have always been answered promptly. I have so far sent photos at day 1, day 5 and day 10 and will continue on a monthly basis for the next year. I’m looking forward to seeing the final results and will send a full review at about 1 year.

Should have done it sooner
After years of going back and forth on whether to pull the trigger on a hair transplant, I finally made the trip from the US to Istanbul in November 2025 to have the procedure done at Hermest Hair Clinic — and I genuinely wish I hadn’t waited so long.
I had work done on the crown of my head, which I know can be a tricky area, and from start to finish the experience was excellent. The entire process was smooth and well-organized, the staff were warm and professional throughout, and I never felt rushed or uncertain about what was happening at any stage.
The results have genuinely surpassed my expectations. Friends and family have noticed and commented — unprompted — which says everything. When people who see you regularly are impressed, you know the outcome is real.
If you’re sitting on the fence the way I was, stop hesitating. Hermest Hair Clinic comes with my full recommendation.

Perfect experience
Everything was well-planned and well executed, and there were no problems or obstacles along the way. The translator/contact from Hermest was very helpful and supportive and everybody at the clinic was very professional. I am writing this almost 2 weeks after the surgery, and I know it is too early to say, but it looks promising and I am excited for the future. I only have positive things to say. I paid around 2600 euros for the DHI method, and that includes hotel stay + breakfast, transportation between the hotel and the clinic, a neck pillow, a small meal after the surgery and some post surgery medicine, including some blood thinners and antibiotics that will last a couple of weeks. In addition, there is follow up communication with the contact person from the clinic, which is very helpful and reassuring. In my home country Denmark, I would have to pay double and that is not including hotel. So it is amazing value I am getting at Hermest in Istanbul, Turkey. They even gave me a warranty letter, saying they will guarantee my hair will grow, as long as I follow some instructions. If you are looking for a hair transplant surgery, I strongly recommend Hermest.

I had my hair transplant done with Hermest and i had great experience. My surgery was done by Dr. Dr. Oguzhan with more than 20 years of experience and staff are super friendly and experienced. They will guide you from very beginning. It’s been two weeks after hair transplant. My after care is going great and been guided by team very well. Looks very promising.
Everything is handled by team very well from day 1, hotel room were excellent, transportation was very well organised. I have been provided a translator all the time helped me to communicate thoroughly. Everything felt very smooth and professional.
I would definitely recommend someone looking for best hair transplant in turkey.

Professionalism right from the beginning, no sales & marketing pressure
I had a 3,800-graft Sapphire DHI procedure at Hermest Hair Clinic on 29 April 2026. Five weeks in, the final result is not yet visible, but the experience around the procedure is, and that is what most people want to hear about before they book a flight to Istanbul.
What convinced me was the run-up. There was zero sales pressure at any point. Every question I asked was answered competently, and what stood out was that they also asked me intensive medical questions back, in order to understand my individual situation rather than push a one-size plan.
Burcu, my patient coordinator, handled all of the ground game before and during the operation. Logistics, transport, hotel booking, driver pick-up coordination, even tips on where to eat in the evening. None of it had to be chased.
The surgery day itself: about eight hours in the chair. I had been briefed clearly in advance about what would happen.
The procedure itself I found rather unpleasant, and whether the result will have been worth it remains to be seen. What I can say is that the operating team worked carefully and visibly tried to do a good job, and that impression has held up in hindsight.
There was one smaller complication on the day. It was handled with full professionalism, and the team made sure I left Turkey as a well-treated patient with the best possible outcome.
The initial concern about having surgery far from home in Turkey was answered by the preparation. Aftercare since then has been regular check-ins from Yeliz on how I am doing, with clear instructions on medication, on cleaning the area, and on how to handle the scabs as they come off.
On the whole I can only describe the experience as first-rate. I warmly recommend Hermest.

I am a doctor who went to istanbul for a hair transplant procedure at the end of a holiday in Turkey. Excellent all-around: facilities, professional staff, clinically best practice (i asked a lot of questions throughout the process). Used a combo of doctors who were involved at the key stages, skilled technicians otherwise, and a very cordial translator (chiefly for communicating the process and with the technicians) along with other support staff. Advice on discharge was clear and thorough, with followup via whatsapp to review and answer any questions. I am very happy with the results, and I will recommend their service to my patients.

Did mine first procedure in 2024 after seeing great results needed to go for 2nd procedure to improve density.
