No stars is the prefered option!

It goes to show just how bad this company is when you search Trustpilot and find so many of their websites now closed! Why does any firm use them? they are terrible! I had 2 orders before Christmas due to be delivered by them, the first one was left outside without ringing the bell. Fortunately, I saw the delivered email and found it outside on the path! I was not so lucky with the second one! I saw the email a few hours later and when I looked outside there was nothing. Again no ringing of the bell. What is a matter with these people? Do they go out of their way to employ cretins? The photo they took to show they had delivered it was a blurred mess and did not even show the parcel. Their response was that they would talk to the courier and that I should get in touch with the sender! Laughable! Why don't firm stick with reliable firms like the Royal Mail, DPD or DHL? I will never buy from another firm that uses Hemes! You have been warned!

Parcels never on time!

Eveytime Hermes is used to deliver my parcels from retailers I never get them on time, I also paid for next day delivery. They also seem to have an excuse as to why my parcel is delayed. This time it's " a delay due to major event in my area" Whatever that means? Hermes is the worst delivery service

Tremendous delay and horrible service

My order got delayed due to something regarding the address. However, it was the same address as I had ordered to previously, and at that time there were no problems at all. Thus, it seems there is no actual reason for the delay.

It should have been here Monday, but today (Thursday) it is still not here. I have not received any updates on the whereabouts of the parcel the last 48 hours.

Furthermore, the team at Hermes have not responded to my message to them (I have contacted them through one of the ways they suggest). Their webpage refers me to the company who send the package - but that company refers me to Hermes.

That is not professionel at all.

Appalling collection service for an Amazon return…

Awful collection service for an Amazon return. Didn't turn up on Friday 12th November. I waited in from 8am until 8pm. Didn't sleep prior to it as didn't want to miss my alarm. I am disabled and couldn't go and get my bread for fear of missing them, as they have no tracking service. Raised an incident on their virtual chat, received email to say they're looking into it.
So if they decide to collect on Monday, I'm at medical appointments and also Tuesday and Wednesday. I want my refund from Amazon who I think are great, but obviously can't refund me until the item is collected by Hermes.
I have anxiety and am in tears and really confused about this incident.

Please sign the petition

Please sign the petition on the Parliament website (Trustpilot won't allow links) asking the Government to establish a regulatory body and ombudsman to oversee the UK courier industry and resolve disputes if you are fed up with the attrocious service provided by some parcel delivery businesses. The regulation of the courier industry, much in the way Royal Mail is regulated, was recommended in the Citizens Advice damning report, 'Sorry We Missed You', on the industry. MPs will have to debate the issue if more than 100,000 people sign.

The courier did not knock or ring the bell.

Hermes delivered two parcels to my home today. They sent me a notification of the time-slot for delivery and one of us stayed near the front door to ensure we heard them - we are rather elderly. The parcels were left on the doorstep - nobody rang the bell or knocked. Luckily I saw a confirmation email, saying they had delivered the parcels two minutes earlier and I was able to retrieve them. Round here, people steal parcels from your doorstep. Had I not seen the email, they would have been gone in minutes

Never got the package

Never got the package, said delivered with signature? So they just gave some random person my package and they signed for it? Pathetic, tried to contact them, said they don’t deal with international packages.

Absolute Garbage

Sent a parcel via Hermes on Saturday. Followed it on Hermes tracking. They acknowledge they have the parcel but cannot tell me where it is in their system or when it will be delivered. Their system simply says they is a major event ??? Don't reply to emails, you cannot speak to a person, just an automaton that doesn't assist one bit. Emailed the CEO he doesn't acknowledge or answer emails either. Absolute garbage of a company.

Worst couriers on the planet

Worst couriers on the planet. when they make a mistake by shortening an address due to their system and packages don't turn up, they give you no way of telling them this. I placed an order with a retailer giving them my full street address and Hermes took the address and shortened it, thus making it the wrong address and then I tried to tell them but there is, no phone number and their automated online chat gives you no option. Do not use this company, make it your last option.

Shambles!!!

I am only sorry that I cannot give a negative score and I would urge any company to think twice about using this shambolic company. I have yet to have a delivery from them. I am on my third attempt of the same thing and it has yet to appear!!! And the drivers lies saying I was not available….duh!! Every other company deliver to me. Hermes wake up and do what you are supposed to do DELIVER my parcel

I would have given no stars if I could

I would have given no stars if I could. I thought Hermes uk was bad. I ordered something from an ad on Facebook. I didn’t know it was coming from China. They used Chinapost, I never received my parcel so instead of issuing me a refund they dispatched it through Hermesworld. When trying to track it they want me to pay £1. This must be a scam!!!!

This is the third time I have been…

This is the third time I have been waiting for a delivery via Hermes. Its 4 days over due this time. This must be the absolute worst delivery company on the planet.

If it was possible to give zero stars I…

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. Apparently they delivered a parcel I was waiting for but where it was delivered is apparently a secret as it was not to me. I have tried to contact them but there is no obvious way of doing this.
When I have had other parcels delivered he leans on the doorbell until I answer then practically throws the parcel at me. They need to give people time to get to the door.
I have also had a card to say they the parcel in my safe place - the porch. Firstly I have never given a safe place and secondly I live in a block of flats so have yet to find my porch
I wish companies wouldn’t use these people but unfortunately they seem to be the cheapest so that will always be the deciding factor

SENDERS - DO NOT USE HERMES

Absolute shambles of a company - however many times you complain they just ignore you. I have told them not to leave unattended packages on my doorstep and they insist on doing it. Today they sent a picture of the outside of my house - no parcel in it and said my parcel had been delivered - and of course there is no parcel.

So again I have to go back to the sender - how many times do I have to go through this.

Senders - If you have any sense and want your parcels delivered securely - DO NOT USE HERMES

Repeatedly

Repeatedly, Hermes promises delivery on a given date and time frame. Then we get an email later saying the courier found that we were "not in". A total lie - we have waited in all day, but nothing. He clearly just went home and lied to whoever his boss is. Then there is no way of complaining to any human being, or even changing the date of delivery. Totally frustrating. DO NOT USE HERMES

Worst delivery parcel company ever

Worst delivery parcel company ever.
I am working nights and wake up earlier on 2 days in row to collect my parcel. Both occasions parcel was not delivered and I got message that I was not at home. Bullsh!t.

Hermes poor customer service

I've decided to post my tracking number so they can see we know they check all of this.

My parcel was delivered on 14.04.21 but the reason for my anger is the driver who delivered my item.

When my mother opened the door the person who was delivering the item was so rude and disrespectful.

Once my mother opened the door he complained and said why has it taken you 10 mins to open the door are you alright and threw the item towards her and walked off.

He's very lucky I was not there its causes my mother serious stress.

When you attempt to contact Hermes it's a complete joke there is no way to get through to an issue as poor customer service.

Absolute joke.
