This game is not trusty, in all events they use fake players to force you play against "ghosts" and beat you to force you buy assets, coins, emeralds... they will never let you win whatever you do. Shamefull.

One of the worse games I played. Yes, I have been playing at least 50 games, but this's a money grabbing game. There were FREE resources if you watched the ad videos. However, there were no videos to watch to get free stuff. So, if you want resources, you need to spend real money $$$$. The good packages are in hundreds of US dollars. This's not a joke. I'm very disappointed and frustrated.

SCAM game full of laundered money from russian hackers as there alot of russian /asian players who have such high stats only if you paid alot of money like $1000's stay away game play is not like advertised on youtube

false advertising as ppl should know you pay what the game is advertised not something else, why i had my bank reverse $1000's i spent on this scam-game and everyone who spent money should do the same before dev close site or the country blocks scam -sites in near future

also there are alot of cloned acccounts and over 600 game servers that mst servers are dead with players trying to play for free a new game server every week just to make the game look like everyone in the world playing but really only few thousand bored kids are playing along side with their own 10+ cloned accounts

billion of stupid NPC-dialogs/conversations, each dialog window in another position of the screen so I need to go through the whole monitor like I'm a beach just to close all of them. No control at the beginning, the hero plays the game instead of me.

This game allows harassment in chat and allows players to dox other players. The cheating is rampant using hero wars simulator. The game is also nothing like the ads. The ads are misleading to get you to play the game.

Hero Wars is definitely a big money grab game: you gotta pay to win. Or maybe if you play for several years you can grind up one good hero team.

What's aggravating is that their company makes a ton of money for such a simple game, but they turn out a sloppy product, and as of 2025, it is getting worse. Every new thing they do they roll out poorly. New features have bad bugs, are poorly explained, and the RoI is usually getting worse for the money you pay. I would discourage everyone from getting involved with this game.

I’ve been playing this game for 5 years. Don’t ever start playing it! Not even just to try it. It’s really not worth it. This game is only about money. Everything is designed to make you spend as much as possible. And if you don’t want to spend, your progress will be painfully slow. I haven’t even finished developing my Titans, and I’ve spent thousands of dollars (yes, thousands) and I’ve been playing for 5 years! It's honestly the worst game I have ever played. A terrible waste of time. The evolution of the game is pitiful. They continue to force players to spend more and more. That's totally absurd. I stopped spending money for a while and I stopped playing a few weeks later, and I am very happy about that.

Terrible ads, even shittier game. Stop bugging me.

Now their only job is to make a lot of money, the gifts they give are becoming less and less valuable and they want a lot in return for those gifts.

Support is terrible, developers constantly introducing gimmicky gambling and other features to wrangle more cash from you. Gameplay has seen no innovation for years. Please stay away from the game.

Can not realize what is the result of matches and what is the rules of power of the competitors. I have the same team with almost double power and still I have lost the batle. Every days I have this problems. Playing from more than 4 years on 3 servers.

I used to play the game. Played for like 3 years and then left.
->At first, I would say, they never or almost never playtest the game before releasing an(y) update. Even if they do, there are many bugs. Some of the bugs made some players incredibly rich in-game in the past.
->They are always throwing new events, events that requires money. I was a f2p and imo, throwing p2w events were also fine, at least not that bad, they always need more money so alright ig ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(Some events were totally p2w tho, which is not fine at all.)
->But updates, they changed game like your heroes(titans) would need more resources to fully develop, they increased the level cap. They made the useful events/game parts hilariously difficult for f2ps.
->They act like they always listen to you, they don't. They always try to impose new game modes that the players don't want. If the players protest against the new game mode, they just make an "updated" version of it.
I saw players quitting for not getting refund of purchases they made unintentionally. So yeah, bad service.

I loved the game when the developers were not that greedy. But now, it's just unplayable yk.

The company is making changes designed to make them more money instead of improving game play

Money-grabbing game, won't allow to continue without purchasing for arena battle. I deleted the app and very glad i did!!!

I have been playing Hero Wars (Developer: Nexters) for a few years now, with TONS of evidence on both my facebook accounts, regarding the amounts of money I have spent on this game.

I should have researched it before playing it, and here are the reasons:

1: False advertising
The game which is massively advertised on YouTube, facebook, and other platforms, is ***nowhere close*** to the real game, which is basically a scrolling, A.I. controlled environment, where all you do is select a few special skills to be cast. This brings us to the next point.

2: You have very little control over your heroes. All you do is click "battle", either in PvP or PvE, and the only thing you can do is click on a special ability per character. THAT'S IT!!!

3: Repeating tedious tasks over and over and over until you get the right components (this can take hundreds of tries at higher levels) just to get ONE item to place on your characters (heroes) to improve their rank. This can be very, VERY painful at the higher tiers (red+)

4: Greed. Probably one of the worst aspects of the game. The developers are one of the greediest s.o.b.s in the entire world! The prices are ridiculous for literally everything! Don't believe me? Just look at all the different transactions that are available for you, in which, by the way, are the only way to improve your heroes, just so that you may remain competitive in this game!

5: THIS IS NOT A(N) MMOPRG!!! For the love of God! MMORPG stands for: "Massive, Multiplayer, Online, Role-Playing Game", and this game has almost NOTHING to do with that! The only players you meet are automated teams in the Arena (or Grand Arena at lvls 50+), and ***IF*** you are a member of a clan and one of them joins your "adventure", which again, each battle is INSTANCED, but other than that, YOU ARE ALONE! SOLO!

Seriously, don't waste your time and money on this expensive cash-cow of a "game", as it is nothing other than a pathetic excuse for a game, in which the only purpose is for you to lose your hard-earned money!

I am surprised that this game has a score of above 1, when it should be far less than that.

At least most reviewers are honest!

To help me playing Hero Wars, I have completed a task to earn some emeralds through Tapjoy but never received my reward. I contacted Tapjoy and after reviewing my evidence they told me they will give me my emeralds but it never showed up. I contacted Tapjoy again and they said if I still didn’t receive my reward after they credited to me then it’s the app issue that I need to contact Hero Wars/Nexter to solve the problem.

Unfortunately Hero Wars doesn’t have real human staff to support. All they have is an AI agent Raymond who can’t solve anything other than directing me to read different self-help Q&A pages. I have been trying to find a solution to get my well deserved reward but nothing could help. My guild mates, the discord, Reddit and even Hero Wars Facebook page, NOTHING! Seriously nothing is out there to support players.

My advice with this game is don’t spend your money! If you do and didn’t receive your reward then you are just wasting it! There’s no one to help except that useless AI Raymond!

I installed app, but red flags went up when I had to, before even being able to play this game, agree to let my personal information be sold to third parties. Glad I uninstalled game based on this and reviews.
