I have never played this game, but I know it's horrible. Boring. You're basically playing the same level over and over again, with minor visual tweaks and maybe a teeny bit of adjusted maths to make them look ever-so-slightly different. The coding for this entire game would probably fit on a Post-It Note, it's that dull and repetetive. Probably scams you out of money at every turn as well, should you be desperate enough to want to keep playing this game (there are more fun things to do, you know - like stabbing yourself repeatedly in the eyes with a fork...)
"Ah, but how can you say this, if you've never played the game?" I hear you cry. Glad you brought that up... you see, I don't need to play it to know what an atrocity it is. Because I've had adverts for this damn game spammed into my eyeballs EVERY GODDAMN TIME I try to watch a Youtube video. My adblockers won't block it, I can't deselect it as an advert in my preferences, even if I block ALL adverts for ALL computer games THIS DAMN THING still slimes through the filter somehow. They're all basically showing the same bit of boring, banal gameplay mechanics but just with slightly different layouts in each 'level' - and each advert is, on average, TWO MINUTES LONG. TWO DAMN MINUTES of the same damn 'game'play mechanics, every single time - often shoved onto Youtube videos that are themselves ONLY TWO MINUTES LONG! Because Youtube has to get their sweet, sweet moolah even if they have to bully people into sitting through this kind of trash, obviously, but... sweet Jesus! TWO DAMN MINUTES, HERO WARS? Of the exact same gameplay, spread out over god knows how many 'levels?'
Here's what spamming your horrible, brain-numbing adverts on Youtube have achieved for you, Hero Wars. I will never, EVER, buy your game. I will not even play it for free. You could walk up to my door and offer me money to play your game, and I would tell you to eff off and slam my door in your face. THAT'S what your amoeba-brained, two-minute advert-spams have achieved. God, this felt cathartic, writing this!
Don't waste a second of your time on this game, people. If this is how angry their ADVERTS for the game can make people, imagine how rubbish THE ACTUAL GAME is. And then double that.

It is marketed as a game - but there's no gameplay! The campaign battles have a small random variation but they are all very predictable and soon become drudgery as you endlessly repeat them to gain equipment. Everything depends on how much cash you pour into this worthless money pit.

Adds are horrible BS to begin with. When you try to buy cheap subscription, it will say no internet connection to server. They want you lose patience and buy expensive subscriptions. It’s a very bad business model for long run: whoever wrote the game.

Here is what I wrote to Hero Wars when I replied to the email I received to confirm Deletion of my account:

This game is way too expensive and the psychological tricks you use to “close” the sale are too diabolical. You got more than $1000 from me before I realized, no matter how much you spend, you get nowhere in the scheme of things and Hero Wars is, for all intents and purposes, a money grab. Your executives are obsessed with money and take advantage of others to obtain their goals.

I am sure that this complaint will fall on deaf ears because “there’s a sucker born every day.” And I was one of those.

I did a Google search on whether Hero Wars was too expensive, and the overwhelming response, on every thread I clicked on was that HW is the MOST expensive game they had ever played.

But again, deaf ears you have, so you will say “so what” as you snooker the next crowd of suckers that comes along.

Frankly, I think you should be shut down. You are one of the drug dealers in the city of games, and you don’t have a care about leading unsuspecting players right off the cliff before they realize what’s going on.

I am writing this to you for the sole purpose of having a record of saying this to you.

In closing, it is businesses like yours that give capitalism a very bad name. All because of greed.

The game is nothing like the adverts.

It's like an adventure game was made but it didn't attract enough people so they came up with this strange marketing.

The funny thing is that the newer adverts talk about the deceptive adverts that they themselves have been pushing.

Put in request #638771to get tap joy reward on 10/4 said would go for review and on 10/10 still no response to review. Only time they attend to the review is when I put in this 1 star review and then amazing the issue is usually resolved in an hour. They only respond to bad review

This game stinks! It’s a cash pit and they do not care about the players. This is the fifth time in three years that I purchased items and did not receive them. Please do not get involved with this unethical platform you will be glad that you stayed away!

Game is fun and all but the drop rates are way to low. It is quite obvious that the company is just out for your money. They release new stuff but do not take care of the game and balance it. There are a few characters that are super op like Dante and they don't care to do anything about it. Whilst leaving some heroes in the trash forever. If you didn't invest in right heroes and got lucky it takes to long time and money if you want to change your team. It would seem that most review are people complaining about it. But it is cause of the lack of interest for anyone but themselves. They do make alot of money on this game thou so they must be doing something right 👍

I completed an emerald task and didn't get my reward. I contacted support but they never reply. It's been over 2 weeks.

absolute unethical trash "game" written by subhuman money obsessed scum. All they care about is taking your money.

They use cutting edge psychological techniques and an easy intro to the game to get you hooked, and then they will DISAPPOINT and ANNOY and crank up the difficulty to create as much pain as possible to goad you into spending more money to take the pain away. But no amount of money is ever enough. They will always be annoying you to spend more.

One particularly gross aspect of this game is the way they craft their money sucking machine to take advantage of ADHD traits and really anyone with poor impulse control.

Absolutely despicable and gross people at every level of this company. anyone who knows anyone who works at this company should be ashamed for them, because everyone from customer support all the way up to the owner certainly have no shame of their own. No decent human could work here.

i already watched 100+ ads on youtube, im sick of this game

This game is a pure cash grab. It is entirely focussed on cash players and even if you spend cash you will not have any chance of making the upper tiers unless you are spending thousands a month. Couple that with poor game mechanics and you have hero-wars.

After playing for about 9 months and level up to VIP13, the customer service is second to none. T&C makes it hard to keep account alive. Worst experience of all digital platforms that I've ever used. Credit card details also got stolen once.
