Scam, not Lifetime as promised.
Scam! When they started I bought the Lifetime membership including upgrades and new features. Now, they want 38$ a month for them. Look on Reddit, a lawsuit is starting. Don't buy from these guys!

Extremely disappointed
Extremely disappointed. Feels like fraud. They have a virtual office in Canada owned by an individual in South Africa. They always answer under the same name ignoring the fact that they sell lifetime memberships and then trick you into having to buy a new platform for all the tools that they promised. Do not use this service!!!

Classic dev app bait and switch
Classic app bait and switch. Promised development on the Lifetime Deal, only to use the money to create a better app on a separate monthly subscription, and calling it a 'fork' on the development road. Take your money and your trust elsewhere, and not for these money grubbing bait-switching scammers. I hope they offer another 'lifetime deal' to line their grubby little pockets with scammed dough.
Update on April 11, 2024 - Received a request from Trustpilot that Heropost is inquiring to request removal of my review. Not gonna happen!

Scams.ai 2.0
Edit (April 16th, 2024): pathetic attempt by HeroPost to manipulate ratings here. Attempting to remove authentic ratings AND creating fake profiles (profiles with similar generic display pictures all with a single review posted within a day!) to add 5 star ratings. People are smarter than that HeroPost! You’re digging a deeper grave for yourself.
Nothing new to add. Read all newer 1 star reviews of Lifetime users.
Just writing this review to help impact the overall star rating. They deserve much lower for scammy business practices.

Heropost will lie to customers and steal their money
I Paid for the lifetime membership and then they upgraded their platform and now I no longer have access unless i pay them more money. Very bad business practice and hopefully there will be some sort of class action lawsuit to put this company in their place.

Disappointed with Hero Post’s Treatment of Lifetime Members
I am writing this review as a lifetime member and early supporter of Hero Post. My experience with their recent changes has been far from satisfactory, leading me to rate them with a single star.
Hero Post has launched an enhanced version of their platform, which, despite being essentially the same as the original, is not accessible to lifetime members like myself. They claim it’s a new platform, but it’s clear that it’s merely an upgraded version of the existing one. The original platform, we’re told, will continue to receive updates until year’s end, further indicating that the two platforms are not fundamentally different.
Communication from Hero Post regarding these changes has been non-existent. As a lifetime member, I was not informed about the new platform, nor was I given any explanation as to why we are not granted access. There has been no communication about the options available to us in light of these changes. All communications have been general public communications.
Adding to the frustration, Hero Post is offering the early adopter price for the new platform to the general public. This means that lifetime members like myself are not receiving any exclusive benefits or discounts.
The concept of a “Lifetime Membership” seems to have been conveniently overlooked. Introducing new features and a new user interface on an existing product, and then presenting it as a completely different platform to exclude lifetime members, is a practice that I find deeply concerning.
In conclusion, I am disappointed with Hero Post’s disregard for their loyal customer base, especially those who supported the product from its inception. The recent changes and lack of communication have shown a lack of appreciation for the investment made by lifetime members. I hope that this review will encourage Hero Post to reconsider their approach and rectify the situation.

Lifetime membership, no updates just a new platform to pay again
I purchased a lifetime membership for the old platform, which implies that there will be no further updates or support for it. Instead, I'm being transitioned to a new platform and am expected to pay for it again. Despite receiving a newsletter offering an 80% discount, I can't seem to find this discount applied anywhere. I find the approach and mentality of this site to be quite disappointing and disgusting. Lifetime means that the current status of the site, and then make a new site. Bravo...

Bait and switch
Bait and switch. I was one of the victims that paid for their "lifetime" social media platform to which I received an email telling me that I can now get 80% off of their "new platform", which is essentially the exact same thing but with updates and a working twitter/X plugin. Don't fall for the bait and switch, nothing "lifetime" with them is true, it's only long enough to grab the money and run to 'create a new' platform that you will be excluded from and have to pay into again. No lifetime anything with them.

Lifetime licence not for life
Lifetime licence was 'until we create an other app' licence... bait and change price, classical scam tactic.

I bought the liftime version and I also bought the "Link In Bio Business" option, and now they've released a monthly subscription version for which we have the same discounts as new customers.
We have access to our version but despite promising to add TikTok, they removed Twitter X.
I have the invoices available.
I have the invoices.
This company is a SCAM, no loyalty.
I'm part of a network of entrepreneurs & marketers all over the world, just for fun, we're going to find them and block their business.

This company deserves 0 stars
This company deserves 0 stars. I signed up for the one-day trial and quickly discovered it lacked the needed features. I emailed support at heropost a cancelation within a couple of hours and requested a cancelation. I tried to cancel through their stripe billing, and it was conveniently not working. After no return email and seeing they charged my debit card I sent another email to support at heropost that read: you charged my account after I canceled. it will be reversed. I see now that your whole system is a con. I will be reversing the charges and reporting and posting on all platforms warning people. You would think that they would reply right? Nope. I would strongly advise you not to fall for this con even though you see favorable reviews on YouTube and the like. Those are all affiliates doing quick videos to try to get an affiliate commission. It takes a lot for me to take the time and leave a negative review, but all Hero Post needed to do was respond to a customer service email which they chose not to do.

The reviews speak for themselves
It's kinda funny that the only positive reviews on trust pilot for HeroPost are very obvious attempts to save their tanking reviews based on a service they did not deliver on. I had the same experience as all of the negative reviews. Was promised a product and they didn't deliver. If they had any ethics at all they could at the very least provide a prorated a refund. They won't budge an inch and refer you to a very carefully worded disclaimer that was obviously intended for this exact purpose. There are plenty of reputable social media posting platforms out there that will actually provide a service for what you pay them. Stay far away from HeroPost.

AVOID!!! SCAMMERS! This is one of the worst company in the SaaS industry.
This company lacks moral values and ethics. I initially purchased their product due to the promise of a lifetime free upgrade, which was supposed to include tools and platform access. However, following a recent update, they renamed the product, which they are now claiming falls outside the scope of the original lifetime offer. They assert that they will continue to maintain and update the original program, but this move seems to contradict their initial promise. Based on my experience, I would advise against purchasing, using, or endorsing this product due to what appears to be misleading marketing practices.

There is no value for money paid on the new interface. Performance and functionality are zero compared to the old interface.
I advise you to revert to the old interface and still implement your subscription model.

don't waste your time using this platform. its not as sharp and up to date as buffer or even repurpose.io. and they customer service is literally non existant. i decided to try their new platform seeing as it has promise and i had their lifetime plan already. what a mistake. its glitchy and just doesn't stack up to other platforms in regards to what you can do. so seeing as i was on their one day trial, i decided to cancel on the day i had my trial on. wheni cancelled my trial, they billed me LOL. billed me $180 USD and that's was son January 9th. its not the 20th and I still haven't heard back from them after emailing them multiple times and then also DMing them in Instagram and also through their chatbot on their website. save yourself time and go with a reputable company that gives good service. I gave them until Tuesday to give me my money back or else I am reporting them to the BBB and to consumer Ontario and Quebec. if your going to advertise to people your value better bet what they intend to pay for and have adequate customer service. and these reviews in favour of them seem so generic and fake. Don't waste your money.

Oh and the sudden influx of positive reviews on here that only started appearing when the customers started complaining? Notice they all read like ad copy? Sock puppet accounts for the company. They have no shame at all apparently. They're also hiding/deleting comments on their social media. You can verify this on their facebook page ... lots of comments in the count only a couple visible. Garbage !

I paid for a lifetime Pro plan at Heropost, it turned out it was a ripoff
I paid for a lifetime Pro plan at Heropost.io, they upgraded to a new platform and increased their rates, and then locked me out of my account. Lifetime membership was close to $300 and they are not honoring the contract nor responding to my emails to restore access to my account, Contacting them is almost impossible, contact us links do not work and they are hiding from the public and paying customers. Not a good way to do business, but I will be filing a complaint with the Canadian Government soon because this is a ripoff.
