The tool sucks and they have no moral compas
As many others here, we've also been scammed.
Signed up for the lifetime deal which was very buggy form the get go. We assumed it would improve over time but now we understand why it didn't. They built a parallel platform with all the improved functionalities and excluded their loyal day-1 customers.
Essentially we financed the development of the new platform but reap no benefits. All the promised improvements will probably never come true.
They'll probably keep on repeating this trick.
Edit: april 12th
Got an ultimatum to provide additional info to Trustpilot as Heropost is trying to take down this post. Provided it as there's no way I'm going to allow them to take down this truthfull post.

Disappointed
Disappointed that the lifetime platform is no longer supported and we as BETA testers were offered an 80% discount on the new platform but anyone new signing up is offered the same discount.
It says something too when this is highlighted on their Facebook page and they block you. Thankfully you can use other profiles to check and just look at their recent posts, the number of comments from other unhappy customers that too have been blocked or hidden. 100s on one post with only 2 visible comments.
It’s a shame as I really did like Heropost and had used them since 2020, but just ask yourself, do you really want to grant a company with these types of shady practices access to your social media API details and credentials?

Annoying business practice
While I'm annoyed that they pulled the "New platform" trick on lifetime license owners. I stopped using it long ago when it was clear they weren't planning to make the platform useful. Scheduling never came (Bet it's in the platform). New social networks weren't added (Again, probably in the new one). Etc.
It's a bummer to lure folks in with "lifetime licenses" then spend years not improving the platform while you focus on building the new one that will screw the folks that already paid. Ah well.

AVOID!!! SCAMMERS! Don't support this company.
Wish there was an option for 0 stars!
Worst customer loyalty EVER!!! Purchased a LIFETIME subscription which was very average, but had high hopes that HeroPost would work hard and make it an awesome service.
However, they now want their LIFETIME users to pay to upgrade to their 'new' platform. Well I've contacted their support and have told them straight if they do not honour my LIFETIME subscription to HeroPost then they'll be getting a scathing review.
Nobody buy HeroPost, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BEHAVIOUR! It will encourage other companies if they see them get away with this. I hope HeroPost falls flat on their face with this decision. Really discraceful to their lifetime users.

Scam alert: Heropost
Like many others, I signed up for the lifetime membership. It didn't have quite as many features as others (still doesn't), but they had a roadmap. It felt like a good investment, as it did service my needs at the time. They made it seem like lifetime subscribers were essentially crowdfunders for them that would be rewarded when the project was complete.
Boy, was that ever dishonest. Now I'm logging into a "lifetime member" login with tons of pushes to get their new, updated platform for 80% off... but they were EXTREMELY clear at original purchase that lifetime subscribers would never have to spend another dime. What a great deal, they told us.
Absolute scam. It's expensive now for what they offer. There are so many other worthwhile projects and services out there that will get the job done. What these guys are doing absolutely is illegal in both the US and Canada.
I'm in Canada, so I doubt I can be a part of anything in the US, but if it is possible, I would absolutely be willing to participate in a class action. Just let me know what's needed. If it is in the US, I'm happy to provide any of you with a written statement. Just ask.

Untrustworthy with your money, time, and data.
Don't trust this company with your time, money, or data. The platform was always pretty bad, but now they've done a mediocre update and have decided to ditch their lifetime customers who have been through them in the dark times.
Shameful and I believe illegal. I encourage you to get legal advice as I will be.

Lifetime cost (notice I did not say deal)
Is there a star less than one? I bought this 2 months ago and worked fine until this week. Can't use it now - it is total BS. I will find someone to explain or refund the Lifetime cost (notice I did not say deal).

Bait and switch tactics
Bait and switch tactics
Sold everyone on a "lifetime deal" then announced a new "better" platform that everyone would have to pay for again. Claim they will "still support the old platform" but you know how that's likely to go: support degradation over time and push push push to go to the new more expensive one.

Treating loyal customers badly - big time!
I purchased a "lifetime license" to heropost a year ago. A few days ago they updated the system and now only give me access to a now so-called "lifetime-platform" and not giving me access to what they now call "the new platform".
It's without doubt that the new version of Heropost is nothing else than an update (which per their website will always be free) to the former version. The tasks performed are the same and the workflos is also the same. It just looks more modern and supports a wider range of platforms (some still in development).
So people, stay away from Heropost! They are a ripoff, and they give a s**t about their loyal customers.

hundreds (if not thousands) of clients paid for several lifetime licenses, INCLUDING twitter/x.
a few months ago, heropost deleted the use of twitter simply. without further notice. heropost told clients it would be "impossible to connect twitter / x again". i have the statemens here.
a few days ago - heropost added the "impossible to connect again" twitter/x via a (so called) new update. and: want all their users to pay again. for a service which was included in lifetime licenses they paid already for.
nope.
to everybody reading this: heropost is cheap - compared to the prices of others. but: their client management is cheaper! stay away!
update: the worst thing in the end is that not even half of their “new platform" works. for which they want to rip off their customers again. essential social media channels are not functional.
this doesn't just sound like a scam, the company is definitely a scam.

I bought due to the life time free upgrade, that included, tools and platform, and was scammed. They just did an update and called it something else to try and get around the free lifetime offer they agreed to give us. Now they are saying its different program and that they will still maintain and update the original program. Do not buy, use or rep this product. They are deceptive in their marketing.

Two years ago I decided to invest 197$ of my hard earned money in HeroPost LTD, a tool that was not perfect but had lots of promising new features in the making. This week the company launched a new platform and is requesting a monthly subscription to use it not honoring the deal. Stay away!

Dont trust HeroPost, LIFETIME membership con!
What a way to ruin the trust and loyalty of your existing customers, I paid for a LIFETIME pro membership with a development roadmap for the product that was never delivered. Only to be told that in that whole time (2 years), what they have been working on is a "new interface" that we, even as LIFETIME members, have to upgrade and pay to access.
Complete and utter deception, DO NOT TRUST HEROPOST. They clearly don't care about their customers and will happy deceive you once they have your money!

Stay away from this company
Poor interface, poor performance, pricing model to to dishonor past promise of lifetime pricing and force upgrade monthly fee for less features. This company promised a road map of features to be developed that it has never executed on for more than 2 years. Now it's attempting to force users to new platform and the same road map that has sat there without development for the entire duration I have used it - years. Stay away from this company

This company is not honest.
This company is not honest.
3 years ago they announced a lifetime deal with an unfinished platform. The service didn't comply with the needs of a marketing agency, but they said it was in development and would have those features in the future, so we decided to take the deal.
Today they launched a new version of the platform, and the customers who purchased the lifetime deal have to pay to use it.
They say we can still use the old platform forever (that never got the promised updates), but without support. What a joke.
Not to mention the bad support, many times they didn't even reply.
What can I say? Not recommended.

Fraud! Attention!
Fraud! Attention! A few years ago, Heropost full-bodiedly sold "lifetime" licenses to many users — now Heropost wants to sell a monthly paid subscription to existing lifetime customers — no words about lifetime access anymore. Unfortunately, this company cannot be trusted. Fingers off.

Left Lifetime Users Out in the Cold with "Update"
This company just decided to leave their LIFETIME customers out in the cold.
Thier new updated does not apply to LIFETIME members. After purchasing the LIFETIME membership, the company does an update and then asks for current LIFETIME customers to purchase a monthly plan. The good ole' bait and switch routine again.
The only good is that the software was good for a while amid the glitches. But after this most recent debacle, they have upset many.
They left all "Lifetime" customers out in the cold with a product that will not be supported after 30 days. Their statement - "Support for the old version of Heropost will no longer be available 30 Days from the date of this email."
In case you are wondering, I have a screenshot that says, "Sure, the lifetime deal includes all future updates."
That statement was made about HeroPost in General. Now they want to spin the conversation to one subscription not the whole software. (BTW, the LIFETIME subscription was for the whole software before.)
So, this LIFETIME purchase was not really LIFETIME.

ITS GARBAGE, THEY ARE GARBAGE
I cannot believe these people. they sold us an unfinished product for a "lifetime price" and then are forcing you to buy a new licence to get the features that you have paid for!
DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE
