Took £500, leak not fixed, ignored messages, asked for more money

I contacted this company for an emergency roof leak repair as it had been raining all week and water was coming into my property. They attended straight away and was fast and quoted £500, which I agreed to because of the urgency.
Unfortunately, the very next day the roof started leaking again, in my bedroom, causing further damage to my ceiling. I contacted them straight away but was told they would come the following week, which I felt was unacceptable given the repair had just been carried out and had clearly failed.
The person dealing with me, Mark, then became very difficult to contact. He read my WhatsApp messages but ignored me for 3 days. When he eventually replied, he said there would be additional repairs required and more payment, which was never mentioned or agreed when I first paid £500.
After that, he said they would come out after another week meaning leaving me in a difficult position, which made it clear to me that they were not going to return unless I paid more money. When I asked for my money back as the original repair did not fix the issue, I was told “the company is not a charity.”
Very poor communication, no responsibility taken, and the problem was never resolved despite full payment being made. I should of checked the first review before calling them out which was my mistake.
Please avoid this company and don’t waste your money.

Never hire the roofers from this…

Never hire the roofers from this company!
We had roof repairs with this company. First, we had a quote of £1300 for works in our attic (insulation and wooden floor) and reputting the cement on the main roof. But, they recommended us to repair the porch felt roof and by showing us some broken slates, they requested us to pay £2900 more on an instant card payment machine. We paid straight away as we didn't know about the roof and we wanted our roof/house work get done before moving in. The next day (we were both working at that time) it turns out that they removed 60 slates as they found they are all broken (without sending us any photo) and they requested us another payment of £2900 for replacing slates (buying new slates) and membrane (the work that we didn't request). We denied to pay and in the end they recovered the roof with the slates they already had and finished the work in the attic within a few hours, but I can't believe how they delayed these minor work over 4 days and made us pay 3 times more than initially invoiced amount. I sent a letter to request some refund and an official invoice with breakdowns, but the office address didn't match and my mail was returned.
