Great design and generally good build. Terrible after sales service.
It has taken two and a half years and A LOT of chasing to rectify faulty elevating roof.
Not acceptable for a product of this price.

Very Happy Hillside Campervanners!!
We'd been researching campervans for years and were lucky enough to have Hillside (our top choice) on our doorstep in Derby, so visited often over that time with a huge number of rookie questions that were answered with clarity and patience, and importantly with no hard-sell!
We collected our Birchover SWB 150ps manual in April '21 - we wanted to see how the 'van performed before leaving a review. So having just returned from our 13th trip, we can confidently say it performed brilliantly.
Thomas (for the purchase) and Cath (for after sales) have been a joy to deal with!
We found everything to be right - the price, the design, the quality - and it suits us very well.
We wanted a large fridge and found their larger than standard 65 litres is great, we wanted to be able to free-camp and found the solar panel meant that not once did we need to plug into electric on our recent 5wk tour of France (for fridge, lights and mobile phone charging).
We were concerned about whether there'd be enough storage space for a longer trip but there was too much!! We were filling extra space with foam mattress off-cuts (we do have a history of travelling light tho!)
We haven't needed the awning yet but may be glad of it in Spain next year 🤞
We just want to say a huge thank you and Merry Christmas to the Hillside Team - Homer's been a life enhancer!

Very happy customer!!!! We recently bought an automatic Birchover S conversion direct from Hillside Leisure and we are COMPLETELY delighted with the vehicle.
Great design, high build quality and good value for money compared with other converters.
The collection, support and aftersales service was superb. (Cath in aftersales is passionate about her work and a great ambassador for Hillside Leisure)
Well worth the waiting list!!!
With regard to the sales department and sales staff at Hillside Leisure - they were a joy to deal with them.

* Very relaxed with no sales pressure whatsoever
* Plenty of samples available (e.g.paint colours, furniture colours, flooring, etc) to help choose a colour scheme
* High quality components (e.g SCA folding roof, RIB folding bed)
* Great prices
* Well designed and practical conversions
* VW and type approval

Excellent build quality and value
We bought a Hillside Birchover VW camper in September. Brilliant support throughout the purchase, including finance advice. Very good after sales support. All of this despite us living hundreds of miles away on the Isle of Skye. The van is perfect and the build quality is excellent. (Cosy in winter too.) No wonder they have won many awards. We can recommend this company, based in Derby 100%.
