Helpful and professional
In this day and age, when it's hard to get through to speak to someone on the phone, Hiscox shines through. I called them today to make an update on our company insurance policy. We were insured with Hiscox for year - Big Mistake
We were insured with Hiscox for years and they happily took our annual payments without problem. This all changed when we tried to file a claim. A debtor client filed a fabricated counterclaim when we tried to recover a debt. We sought to claim for legal costs as provided for under the policy and Hiscox delayed and prevaricated for months before finally refusing the claim based on a 'technicality' outside of the policy terms. We regard them as being utterly dishonest and would never use them again. We would have got better value by flushing the policy premiums down the toilet.

Had tools stolen from my van disrupting…
Had tools stolen from my van disrupting my small handyman business, even though the process of listing everything missing was difficult they were supportive and they really did help me get back on my feet and claim was settled relatively fast once the procedure was completed .

I was insured with them for less than a…
I was insured with them for less than a week, I had to cancel due to a change in circumstance, they charged a full month but then took an additional payment at the beginning of the next month. I couldn’t log in to their website at any point, with a message about maintenance (that never went away during the month).

Website / log in portal always under maintenance
I have been trying to log in to my account to check my insurance policy, but the website is never available whenever I tried to.
Although it is usually after business hours, but I am not aware that I can only log in during office hours in the past.
I do not always have availability to call during office hour as a busy individual.
