This was a terrible experience.
1) 13th Apr. Refuse to provide car without a block on my credit card. This is normal practice which I always comply with. I tend to not buy insurance and am happy with the risk. However Hit could not secure a block on my card without my purchase additional insurance through them. I said I will investigate my credit card what the issue was.
2) I contact my credit card issuer, and was advised there was no issue with the card. The block should have gone through.
3) I hired a car for the 15th Apr and purchased full collision insurance. Hit still refused to give me the car without taking their insurance. They had priced their insurance at 20 times the price of the car hire. They refused to give me the car, despite my having paid for collision insurance. This is exortion in my mind.
4) We agree that they will man the desk at 7.30am on the 19th Apr. They attempted to call me at 4am. I was asleep. They left no message. I and another customer was stranded at the Car Rental location, without a representative to take the cars or to take us back to the airport. We messaged and called several times between 7.15am and 8am, to have no response. Hit didn't even have a box to store keys to allow customers to leave if in a hurry. To cap this off, the location was difficult to hail a taxi.
Utterly awful experience, on cost and customer service.
I will not be able to use Hit in the future, and I provide fair warning to any other customers.

Navigating Istanbul traffic is never simple, but renting through this platform reduced my stress. The instructions were plain, the rates were good, and it helped that I could reach an agent any time if something went wrong. I ended up returning the car a few hours early without any hassle.

Hit Rent a Car in Istanbul was so-so. Booking was fine, but the car had scratches they didn’t mention—made me uneasy. Staff weren’t super helpful either.

I booked a car for my family (through Carjet) but when they tried to block €900 for the security deposit on my credit card, the machine declined. I asked what the solution was and he said I would have to take out their insurance at a cost of €300! As I have an independent car hire excess insurance policy which will pay out up-to €10K I politely declined.

Funny how the card machine would then miraculously work again if I had agreed…

Upon doing research for another car, it appears Hit aren’t the only outfit doing this scam, pretty much all of them are at it!

The only way to be sure of avoiding the Antalya Car Rental Mafia scam is to hire from one of the big names. I used Enterprise who were great.

This company took my stress away by letting me pay in installments on my Turkish credit card. My father needed a car with a bit more luggage space, so we upgraded without a hitch at the counter. It was a smooth process, and I will happily use them again.

Very helpful we delayed due to passport control issues but no problem we were picked up and taken to the office. The car was checked over paperwork sorted and on our way in good time. No issues with the car and used it quite a bit on the holiday. The return was just as simple quick and easy no hassle. Friendly polite staff

Don’t rent a car from here they charge you extra payed on line booking.com £40 got there charge me extra £200 scam don’t go here!!!!!

Used this site in Mugla. Booking was alright, but the car was old and noisy. Staff didn’t seem bothered—cheap, but not thrilled.

HIT will also charge you for trafic fines which you never get or even seen.
