Really pleased with my experience ordering from Hopes Grove Nurseries.

After placing my order, I needed to contact them to delay delivery by a week due to a change in circumstances, and they handled it with no issues at all. When I called back to rearrange, they asked which day I’d like delivery and accommodated my request exactly.

I had seen some reviews saying their customer service was poor, but honestly that wasn’t my experience whatsoever. I found them helpful, responsive, and very easy to deal with.

The plants arrived on time, were well packaged, and looked healthy and good quality on arrival. I planted them at the start of March, and out of 47 plants I haven’t had any issues so far, they’re all now growing well.

Based on my experience, I’d definitely recommend them and would happily order from them again

Very pleased with the bare root plants. They arrived well packaged, with lots of roots.
The hawthorns and spindles have green shoots, just waiting for the beech to show but it's still early for that.

Very helpful staff and prompt delivery

Good communication but we placed our order, it was accepted and paid for. Then they contacted us to say we'd ordered was available and offered us an alternative which we accepted because we wanted hedge. When it arrived, it was low quality. It was planted within 24 hrs of arriving and it was whithered and two of the hedge had no leaves on at all! They were literally twigs! Wouldn't buy from there again. No reliability and poor product quality.

Hedging plants came quickly from dispatch and were well packed for a safe delivery. Also some extras too! Thank you. Kept well informed of delivery process when dispatched. Customer service when I contacted the nursery was very helpful, polite and friendly.

The website was very easy to navigate, I found exactly what I wanted and the order arrived well packaged and in good time. It was for bare root Hornbeam, the quality was good and they've all taken well.

Although they ran out of stock of the plant I ordered they quickly offer an alternative which was acceptable. Delivered promptly

7 plants total delivery all packed in 1 narrow box alot of leaf loss and bent stems . If it had been just the griselinia the box would have suited but they pushed in two other different plants with wide round pot base this is what appears have damaged and bent stems. Griselinia are not happy at all alot curl up leaf very floppy so many bent stems . While stress can cause leaf curl etc ive had Griselinia variety delivered in the past by other providers and never had them turn up in such a state . The Tulbaghia Violacea Silver Lace Potted Grasses was also sad with alot of dead parts. First time using them as they had a discount for the griselinia regret that now to be honest if hope they survive . Maybe i will edit this later to say all turned out well or maybe i will come back to say otherwise

The plants arrived quickly and well packed so they arrived in good condition.

The lavender was in good condition whe it arrived with signs of new growth on all plants. These have now been planted out and all look very healthy. Would buy from them again.

Good value delivered quickly

Really great company. They had run out of stock on a privet hedge deal I purchased so called me up to apologise and upgrade me to a larger version to complete the order at no extra cost, which was very decent of them. Delivery was super fast and plants were in excellent condition. Hopes Grove will now be my first port of call for all of my future plant needs.

I will be back to your company again. I have bought bare roots before and they have been spindly and half dead.

All your bare roots had gloriously substantial root systems and each one had a tag telling me which it was. This meant I could plant without any concern.

Really happy with order at such a tiny price for them.

Wholeheartedly would recommend you to anyone needing native hedging and other plants as mine all turned up lovely and exactly the heights your website described.

I have planted most which are already opening leaves. I shall send photos once Spring proper has sprung, but I have already been nabbed by a Blackthorn spine...and despite their slimness as bare roots, they're definitely deterring the local cats from pooping in my 10m long trench for them all.

My shrubs within the order look so healthy, and had great bushiness. All have been happy to be potted on upon receipt and are all doing well. The Syringa Palibin I have wanted for so long, so expensive elsewhere at the size you sold, is already starting to flower-and smells absolutely delicious. The Alatus-looks like it wants to fill the 40L pot as fast as it can and the leaf colour is a sublime lime in its youth-almost chilli leaf shape which looks superb in between my young purple smoke bush and sambucus Black Tower.

Large box arrived well within the delivery timeframe too, securely packed -no plastic-with a few free sturdy 5ft bamboo sticks to keep them in place in transit (using for climbers-bonus!).
