Established in 1992, Hopes Grove Nurseries are hedging plants specialists with a 125 acre nursery and over 1 million home grown plants situated in the Weald of Kent. Our skilled nursery staff have over 200 years of growing experience between them so our plants are given the best possible start.
We only sell our hedging plants to the end user (not to Garden Centres or other nurseries) so you can be assured of direct from the nursery pricing that you will find very hard to beat. We deliver nationwide with plants coming directly from their growing beds to guarantee they are fresh and top quality.

In a nutshell, it’s a way of proving that we will always do the right thing in preventing the spread of harmful plant pests and diseases. The Plant Healthy Management Standard is a voluntary initiative that sets out requirements for implementing effective plant biosecurity systems that can be adopted by horticultural businesses. Both the green and purple beech are showing no signs of life. The field maple are not much better with some dead. The silver birch and cherry look better but not 100% alive

Arrived in reasonable time
Arrived in reasonable time, well packaged, damp and very much full of life and ready to plant. Both Yew and holly seedlings were much bigger than expected! So far so good!

Super happy with our new plants!
All our plants (Osmanthus Burkwoodii) had been packed with great care in cardboard boxes with straw and were secured with bamboo sticks so they couldn't move during transit. They all arrived safely and very healthy looking. It's been over two weeks now and so far they all look to be thriving, so hopefully we see a lovely new hedge growing over the next couple of years!
We did have to wait a little before shipment, but in their email it could take up to 2 weeks so it was all within the expected timeline.

My 35 privet bare root trees arrived…
My 35 privet bare root trees arrived very dry indeed, possibly down to huge delays with courier company dx . Soaked and planted as soon as they arrived but some aren't looking the best.

Very happy with my purchase of 100…
Very happy with my purchase of 100 hornbeam bare root hedging, I called prior to ordering just for a bit of advice and was assured that I could still plant in April. They arrived next day after dispatch in perfect condition and planted the next day and I’m pleased to say they all look like they have taken to my garden so far, and now I’m looking forward to watching them grow.
