I recommend Hotel du Bois as a place to stay in Les Houches

This is a lovely hotel located in Les Houches, near Chamonix in France. Both Aurora and Jean Marc were excellent hosts and took care of our arrangements. They are both very charming and run a fantastic hotel. My room was clean, well looked after and had spectacular views of the mountains. All of the staff that work there are very friendly and I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Aurora and Jean Marc for being fantastic hosts, the restaurant and bar staff were friendly and polite and housekeeping was perfect too. I will definitely return.
