I accidentally booked a room in…

I accidentally booked a room in Portland Oregon, instead of Portland Maine! I called the help line and Sharron, customer support was so kind and helpful. I found the mistake early enough for the problem to be solved! All is well and I'm so happy to have received such great support from her!

I booked a room and didn't know about…

I booked a room and didn't know about the properties $250 deposit. I called Hotelogical/Stayforless immediately to get a refund and have been getting the run around. I also opened up a case with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. If anyone fell victim to this company please reach out to meso we can organize a Class Action Law Suit against them.

Great Customer Service

Due to having surgery, I was unfortunately not able to fly in from Texas for my stay. I contacted Customer Service and was helped by Anita and they were so understanding about my emergency situation and canceled my booking. Thank you !

I am so thankful for Sharon (customer care) for her professionalism and follow through. She made a terrible situation into a positive experience. I can not praise her enough but hopefully this helps. If it wasn't for her I would have had to stay in a drug infested hotel that was 20 minutes out of the way. So, if you get to speak with Sharon please be kind and she will return the favor.

Poor company

Poor cancellation policy, horrible customer service, the site defaults to dates I never selected based on hotel availability, but it never updates until reservation it completed. I couldn’t ever get anyone to which my reservation to the appropriate dates, nor was I able to get my money back. The worst service ever. Should’ve stayed with hotels.com or Agoda, way better than this company.

I had the worst experience with them

I had the worst experience with them. I had to cancel my reservation and talked to customer support all they just did create a ticket for me and after a month they came back with the excuse your booking was non refundable despite that fact that I called them a day earlier to confirm whether something can be done. Their customer support is not good one of the guy keep interrupting me like he knew all the thing about my case and not willing to listen to me because as per him he handled such cases every day, so he presumed my case is like others. I will not recommend booking through them.

Check the date before booking

I booked a room to a hotel I was already staying in. I extended my stay for an extra day. When inputting the date it wouldn’t allow me to change it from the current date. So before booking on this app one must change date before hitting book room. It is located on app towards top. Customer service was able to refund me. Very glad with customer service but the app needs to be more user friendly. To avoid wrong dates.

Absolute SCAM!! Do not use this "company"

My wife booked a room through these scammers, when we called to cancel it she was put on hold saying she was like 527th in line! Every call did the same thing, she actually let it go, fell asleep and it was still going when she woke up. A total of almost 3 hours on hold! Called another number and it says 3 min wait time, yeah, 45 min and terrible hold music with no answer. I'm willing to bet if we had gone there would have not been a room reserved anyway. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THESE SCUMBAGS! THEY'LL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NOTHING!!

**Edit, I ever eventually got half my money back. I still stand by my review on the terrible customer service though, I would be happy if I had gotten all my money back, we had to cancel our trip for a medical emergency and wanted to plan it for later after we recovered from the medical bills. This just added stress to our situation. I'll never trust them again for sure, they make it almost impossible to contact them if you already paid!**

Despite booking a non-refundable rate type we're glad we were able to partially refund you on this occasion and hope this was of some comfort despite the circumstances.

Can't believe they're still stealing money from people

If you're unfortunate enough to read this after you've already booked, check the card you used, and keep checking it. Just as SEVEN reviewers before me, I checked and double checked my booking date, and they moved it on their end before sending my confirmation email. I contacted them immediately, and there is no customer service because this is not a business. It is a scam. They told me it's unfortunate that I didn't read the fine print or check the dates, nothing will be done. When I said I would be reporting it, he told me, "Good luck, your payment has been processed." Nobody else in the building I could talk to, he said. The website looked like the website for the hotel I was booking. I didn't check the URL.
Please don't risk it because it looks cheaper, booking through the hotel was a cheaper expense, and I'm still battling them and my bank for a refund. Additionally, the bank had nothing on the books for my reservation for even the incorrect day.
Had to close my card as well. My bank called me several days later over purchases in Utah, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin all within a matter of seconds before catching the fraud. That is also something I'm battling currently.

Just don't use them. They're thieves, criminals. It looks like every 100th user is a victim of their pursuit.

Scam site

Booked room but assumed room was for that day. When I tried checking booking the room was for a week out actually. Tried to cancel and they said no refunds. Called hotel and they never received a reservation from them at all. Charging back with bank.

Worst service I ever recieved

Worst service I ever recieved. I'm homeless and was able to save enough money for me and my autistic child to stay in a hotel. I accidentally hit Jacksonville Florida and not Jacksonville NC. I explained this to there answering service 7 times only to be told they do not issue refunds of any kind. I am contacting the Better Business Beureau to turn then in. I'm out 157.69. It took 2 jobs to save that up. How horrible can a company be. Because of this I will nit ever book thru a 3rd party again

The best customer service I've received all day!!

Jamie at Best Hotel rates was an absolute breath of fresh air after dealing with the worst customer service I had ever experienced at the airport, which is the reason I booked the hotel. When my flight got reassigned last minute and I no longer needed the room Jamie was able to both fix the problem and reach back out to me within 15 minutes!! I would gladly book another room here just because of how easy it was to get ahold of someone who could fix any issues I was having!!

To Trustpilot Support,

To Trustpilot Support,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding the company "Hotelogical" and its involvement in deceptive practices and unauthorized charges during a recent reservation experience. I believe it is important to bring this matter to the attention of the Trustpilot community to raise awareness about potential issues with this company's services.

On July 8th, 2023, I made a reservation through Hotelogical's affiliate, PrimaStay, for a one-night stay at the Quality Inn in Titusville, Florida. During the booking process, I was quoted a total cost of $78.34. However, upon reviewing my bank statement, I discovered that I was charged $94.01, a discrepancy that raises concerns about the accuracy of pricing disclosed during the booking.

My concerns stem from the following potential issues:

1. Deceptive Pricing Practices:
Hotelogical's deceptive pricing practices, where the charged amount exceeded the quoted price, potentially breach Trustpilot's standards for transparent and accurate pricing disclosures. As a trusted platform for reviews and consumer feedback, Trustpilot is committed to promoting fair and honest business practices.

2. Unauthorized Charges and Transparency:
The unauthorized charges, combined with a lack of transparency in pricing and apparent misrepresentation, may violate Trustpilot's guidelines for trustworthy business conduct. Trustpilot values businesses that prioritize transparent and ethical interactions with consumers.

I attempted to address these concerns by contacting Hotelogical's customer service immediately after the overcharge. However, my attempts were met with a dismissive response, denying any wrongdoing and refusing to offer a resolution.

As a Trustpilot user, I believe it is crucial to share my experience to help others make informed decisions. I encourage Trustpilot to consider investigating this matter further to ensure that reviews reflect accurate consumer experiences and that businesses using the platform uphold the highest standards of transparency, fairness, and integrity.

I am attaching relevant correspondence and evidence to support my claims. By sharing my experience, I hope to contribute to a safer and more trustworthy online marketplace for consumers.

Please feel free to contact me at [Your Phone Number] or [Your Email Address] if you require additional information or clarification. Thank you for your commitment to maintaining a reliable platform for consumer feedback.

Sincerely,

Nav Sier New LLC

Hotelogical Does Not Honor Agreements

Due to an unexpected emergency, I called Ramada Inn and spoke to the manager at the front desk and cancelled my reservation and since I've been a long-time previous customer he agreed to refund my $99.56 with No penalty. I called Customer Service at Hotelogical and was told to put this information in writing and to email it to Hotelogical for processing my refund.
About 4 weeks later, Hotelogical emailed me and said they were declining my refund. But wait a minute- isn't there an agreement? I then sent the following email to Hotelogical:
I spoke to the manager at Ramada Inn and he agreed to refund the money. This is documented. I called Ramada today and hopefully I'll get something in writing from them. I've never had this problem with Priceline before. In fact, Priceline calls the hotel immediately and I've had all of the refunds processed without a problem. As far as I'm concerned, Ramada agreed to refund the money. If necessary, I'll dispute this charge with my bank. Thank you.

In this instance, only one individual at the hotel had knowledge of your call and no notes were left on their systems for others. Eventually we were able to obtain confirmation. We're glad we were able to refund you despite the delay and apologise for the inconvenience.
