Worst place I've lived

I regret moving here with my family and pets. Litter and fly-tipping are everywhere, residential areas are neglected, and it’s unsafe for animals in many ways. Residents are among the rudest I’ve ever come across. Meanwhile, council tax keeps rising with added charges for their own mistakes, yet quality of life only declines. Noise pollution, both on the ground and in the air, is constant, and yet more apartments are being crammed in. Hounslow feels unsafe and devoid of any positive community spirit.

Absolute Joke

Where should I start from ? This council is deaf. I am tired filing so many complaints about nuisance at night, about the property managing agency. Its an absolute joke that they just have online forms but they never reach anyone and therefore no action is taken. There is litter on the streets all the time. My god! I really want to question the Mayor of the council if he is actually aware of the what is the council doing ?

Well where do we start

Let's say extremely unprofessional worst council is the entire Brough housing officers are just not trained in all areas contact center is rude

If there was a way of giving this a -5 star I would AVOID THE COUNCIL ITSELF

Recycling waste collection containers…

Recycling waste collection containers are small and doesn’t take in much. It seems council is discouraging to recycle. It takes months to receive additional container. our containers are not picked up at times and no reason being provide.

What a joke

nothing like being given a housing plan that the council doesn’t even follow through with or actually help with anything, topped with having all your emails and calls ignored much like the ex crush that never replied to that MySpace message you sent her. if that wasn’t bad enough they will lie about their housing officers being on holiday as prior to my housing plan I came in to ask why my officer hadn’t done anything as move date was approaching to be told he’s on holiday and miraculously an hour later he gave us a call and was in office!!!!….didnt know hounslow council already figured out teleportation and was hiding it from the world.

Worst council ever

Worst council ever. It is a shame that beautiful Chiswick belongs to this council.
They keep sending me reminders to pay my council tax when I already paid the full year, very stressful experience with it. You can't contact them easily and when you manage to, it's incompetent, unhelpful and daunting!

I don't even give 1 star this people .I am retired and done triple hearth bypass .I had to stop high Street and paid my parking ticket looking water because I am not well and paid second ticket not expired because my parking app give wrong register but parking enforcer give me ticket 130 pound I told him I parking ticket but he's very and said go appealed but you can't get cancel ticket all they earning commission money.I appealed and rejected even my ticket not expired this people scam and doing fraud earning money SHAME ON YOU COUNCIL !!!!!!You don't care people ill or elderly

No communications, no responses, no answers.

I contacted them online to register my change of address, my account was in credit. there was no confirmation email sent, just the screen display saying it had been received. I tried telephoning them, I was on hold in a que for over an hour when i decided to give up. They don't have a direct email address. i used the online contact forms multiple times to obtain refunds but no one has ever responded. If you owe them money they are extremely efficient in getting court action, within two weeks. And yet, they owe me money and 6months on I am still trying to chase them and not getting anywhere. I had contacted the customer service team who have not been able to assist. I have today posted a complaint as well as completing the online complaints form.

Disappointed

The Council hasn't been helpful whenever I needed help. They've wasted a lot of my time and money though.
My roof doesn't get fixed over the past 4 years. They get the worst deal for home insurance. Don't provide recycling bins. Charge £3k for some decoration job in the communal area. Don't answer calls. Takes long to reply to emails... I'm very disappointed in the council. I don't sense the council cares about people. I also don't sense any morality in the way they operate. I might be biased because I'm sure there are someone who cares and tries to help. But unfortunately, I haven't met any.

Terrible council

Terrible council

Employing traffic wardens (civil enforcement officers) who don’t have a basic grasp & comprehension of the English language

I received a Penalty Charge Notice for parking inside a designated electric vehicle charging bay even though the signage clearly stated “permit holders only Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm. Electric vehicle recharging point only AT OTHER TIMES”

I read that as electric vehicle recharging point between Monday - Sunday 6pm - 9am

I received the ticket at 10:06am on Monday

I paid for 3 hours of parking between 9am - 12pm on Monday via the Pay By Phone mobile app

I guess the traffic wardens don’t understand English & the councils own signage

It doesn’t even mention anywhere in the Highway Code I couldn’t park in the designated electric vehicle bay

Terrible council employing incompetent traffic wardens that don’t understand the law or Highway Code

Money being wasted on excessive street sweepers and parking attendants

I'm sitting here and trying to work from home, except I cannot work, as I watch several Hounslow Council workers outside my window faffing around with all manner of shovels. How many council workers does it take to noisily bang shovels on the pavement, not achieving anything other than uprooting some dried mud from the road and leaving it there? The answer is FOUR! I'm now watching one of them play around with a leaf blower and smugly grinning to himself as he moves remnants of dead leaves around from one part of the pavement to the other. Grinning at the hourly rate that's getting squandered on him and his friends while residents continue getting extorted monthly by the council.

While I'm here, I've also done daily tallies of the number of parking wardens who patrol the same stretch of street, staring at the same cars. The most impressive record to date was FOUR different wardens ambling up and down my street and staring at the same vehicles across an 8 hour period.

You've got to hand it to Hounslow Council - they have great form for wasting our council tax on pointless, lazy staff while real issues, including dangerously cracked pavements, robberies and muggings, continue going unchallenged and exacerbating at an alarming rate.

Worst council around London.

Worst council around London.
They haven't collected rubbish and recycling for over 3 weeks and there's nothing we can do about it. Just paying more council tax every year!
Staff over phone is rude,dismissive and unhelpful (that's if you ever get thru to someone ),treating tax payers as dirt. Totally shameful and disappointing.

Prolific data breachers

In the past year I have had to make numerous complaints regarding unauthorised sharing of my data, this includes a care sheet sent to a random member of the public by one of the staff from a home laptop, quite why my personal data ( medical notes/ reports, contact details, private details) wrre on said laptop and shared with a friend of the social care staff I have no idea. I have also been in receipt of copies of passports, child birth certificates, personal medical data to name a few which has been sent to me.l, and another member of social care staff forwarding data merrily on to random people outside of the establishment without consent. They have little care for anyone's data and none seem to be trained whatsoever, even those that work in this sector. It's also my knowledge that those that have had their data breached have not been informed and any data breaches are taken with a couldn't care less attitude from the rude arrogant staff.

Hi iv been working with my client…

Hi iv been working with my client regarding rents iv notice and checked all receipts of my client which all is accounts are up to date iv noticed letters have been sent to my client but don't match the receipts we do no that there's is something going on in the rent department they are robbing my client for money which he does not owe there is a investigation going on we are collecting evidence with this case and would like to talk to 3 females once we collected the evidence. they have been harassing my client as well.if any one who is going through this as well please contact me we are looking to put this in court there is a justice system for all if you've payed there is no need to pay double we can fight this case with evidence so please keep all letters and receipts in a safe place or take copies regards j m barristers
