I cannot recommend a better company in The Netherlands. My partner and I were looking for an apartment for few months.

The moment I took contact with House hunting Gooi, we did received a quick reply and very good help from Maartin and Jelmer. Compare with other agency we had to only pay the deposit+ rent price. Other companies were charging us a commission which was to much just for them to help.

We were talking for less than 2 weeks and we saw an apartment on Monday and Sunday we were moving in already. They really did everything possible to help us.

As a foreign finding an apartment is very hard and finding people like Maartin and Jelmer that are willing to help is just amazing.

Absolute scum of the earth. Rats, moldy windows, numerous occasions of us trying to contact them and no response. Also asking ridiculous fees for everything, and these fees ‘service fees’ that double your rent. Do not rent from these people.

The absolute worst. Awful communication, rude customer service aside: HHPM attempts to extort money on every step in clear disregard to existing law.
New housemate moves in? Fee
A housemate moves out? Fee
Don’t feel like finding a new flatmate? Fee
Windows have not been cleaned in years, nor are the common spaces and best of all, internet connection has died in November and they are still “working on it”2 months later.
Stay away!

I have received excellent service. The company helped us to rent house, supported during whole process. May recommend it.

Its been 6 weeks since i exited the property and my deposit has not yet been received. Terrible customer service and lack of response. Who is getting interest on the money???????????? But let me be 1 day late on the rent ?????

I rented an apartment fromHouse Hunting for 2 years in Rotterdam. At the day I returned the apartment, they had a few minor complaints of damage to which I agreed with, and informed my deposit would be returned 10 days later with those values deducted. I signed the inspection report.

The following week, I was informed they would now charge me for other things, not present in the report, which I of course said they cant do since any damage not in the report cant be atributed to me - I dnt live in the apartment anymore!

Ive been waiting for my deposit to be returned for over a month (value of 2 month rent). Needless to say, If I was late 2 months with my rent, they would charge me a big fine.

Unethical company - stay away.

I highly recommend HouseHunting Rotterdam for any of your housing need. Since being an expat moving from India would have been a big task to look and then move to a new apartment in the new country, thanks to Mr Dyce Sprinkhuyzen from HouseHunting who made my process easy, quick and hassle free. They help me finalise the apartment, replied to all my queries quickly and got the contract digitally signed with the landlord. They in fact connected me with the agencies who can help me finalise my utility and insurance contracts. For me it was moving directly to my apartment from India will all thing in place. Do not use this company if you are a house owner/landlord. They do not ensure the property is cared for, do not perform adequate check out procedures and do not hold any deposit for damage repair. The monthly deductions taken to manage the property are therefore not value for money. These guys are just tenant finders with residual fees. No benefit to landlords (and also I believe tenants, though check other reviews to confirm this).

Huub was very helpful, clear, and responded quickly to questions. This was essential; I was looking for an apartment from California, and the time difference makes it hard to communicate effectively. Despite this, Huub helped make a naturally difficult process much easier. I would highly recommend him!

Pieter was very helpful for finding this new house.

Was looking for a place for my daughter who will attend university.
Contact and formalities were easy, Dani and Casper were very friendly and helpful.
Could see the place only on pictures and video before arriving, we got what we expected.
