Purchased a lehenga for wedding good flirting with the work in it

I bought a handful of pieces for a wedding. I liked about half of them. I got two kurtas for my husband. They were both tight. When I tried to return the pieces they kept asking me to measure the kurtas and send back. I have no idea how that was relevant?? The quality of the saree and another piece I purchased felt extremely cheap. Not all the outfits were like that but two of them definitely were. Their return policy stinks - especially if you are buying from the US. You have to pay for the return to India - that's almost the same price as the purchase so definitely not worth it. Their customer service isn't super helpful. They need a shipping warehouse in the US if they want a substantial clientelle from this country. Overall I was not happy with their return policy and quality of theair fabric and stiching on half the items I ordered.

The customer service agent did not answer my question.
They kept on giving same repetitive answer instead of understanding the problem.

The Indya.com team took effective steps after reading the posted review and immediately solved my issue.
That was a good quick response and action!

Fantastic shopping experience, so clear and helpful

Lots of choices to pick from online - I just placed order and hope it will arrive in the given timeframe. I enjoyed that they also sell jewelry and bags - convenient to buy everything in one place. I plan to order again in the future if everything arrives as purchased.

This is clearly a Fraud operation. As you can see most of the overseas complains pertain to fraudulent transactions (sending polyster stuff when adverstising silk)as they are aware you cannot return the goods. Their customer service is a chatbot. Of course when you try to report this to cybercrime Indian portal never opens. India is just like some of the most corrupt African countries.

I purchased 5 items from this site for eid for myself and my family as the kameez looked beautiful in the pictures. I bought two sizes bigger just in case it was an online order and I like it loose fitted and hadn't ordered from here before. It took quite a long while to be shipped and when the items finally came after 3-4 weeks it was all very tight and ill fitting. Some clothes looked very cheap and wasn't worth half of what was spent whilst a couple of them looked good but sadly I couldn't wear them as they were too tight. On addressing the issue they were prepared to offer 30% of the value of two items out of the 5 items!!! I have not received a penny todate. very disappointed in the service

Two outfits purchased on May 13, 2026, both purporting to be silk saree sets. Card was charged May 13. No invoice or email notification sent.
Today ( May 28) I received the outfits. They were wadded up in a vacuum sealed bag, and the material looked just like the stuff cheap haloween costumes are made from.
I did the burn test to distinguish silk from polyester, and sure enough, both sets are made from polyester.
I believe that this company is a willful scam. They appear to flood the internet with fake positive reviews in order to bury legitimate complaints, and to answer those complaints with a stock response that does not appear to be supported by any meaningful action.
Both the saree sets I purchased are going into the garbage because I know from the experience of others that I will never get my money back. This has been an expensive $221 mistake on my part.

Great and quick

It says that no duties and tarrifs on top of the price but at the time of check out you ask for custom clearance fee and lost item fee and one more additional charge. Which is not fair .

This was one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had. I placed an order through the website and was told that I would receive my order within 1 month. After the month passes by, I reached out to the customer support team over WhatsApp four different times and each time was told that due to a production issue my order had been delayed and then was given no follow up on shipping time. The support team was also slow and terrible at communication. My order then arrived 1 month after it was supposed to, but it was stitched to the wrong size, looked nothing like the online picture and the fabric had stains on it.

They have a huge variety of outfits and accessories to choose from. They are very reachable and excellent with communication through Whatsapp.

They are the worst company i have ever ordered my stuff from. All the clothing that came to me was worst quality and on the top of it they haven't payed the custom fees and kept it secret until I received the bill from fedex and now they asking me to clear those dues .
Please never buy stuff from them they are the biggest fraud company I have seen.

Extremely disappointing experience with Housd of Indya.

I waited over 30 days for my order, received conflicting dispatch updates throughout, and when the outfit finally arrived it looked NOTHING like the product advertised on their website.

The colour, blouse design, embellishment, fabric, and overall appearance were completely different from the professional images used to market the outfit. This was not a “slight variation” due to lighting or handmade detailing as the company claimed — the item was clearly misrepresented.

Customer service was equally frustrating. Instead of acknowledging the obvious differences shown in side-by-side comparison photos, they repeatedly dismissed my concerns and refused to offer a full refund, only offering partial reimbursement for a product that was significantly not as described.

I was even contacted at 6am UK time with no consideration for international time zones.

Very misleading advertising, poor communication, excessive delays, and disappointing quality. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering.

Easy to navigate pages, great variety of items at a great price point. Items are always of high quality.
