We decided to give our original Howdens kitchen a facelift. From the moment of contact the customer service we received from Amy at Howdens in Romford was second to none. The timelines for the quartz worktop installation & subsequent fitting were swift and hassle free as was the delivery of the new appliances. We changed a couple of things and nothing was too much hassle for Amy. Whilst Howdens installed the new worktops, we used Joe Sharpe to carry out the works to the remainder of the kitchen facelift. Again, nothing was too much for Joe and his level of attention to detail made all the difference when the work had finished. Our kitchen was previously a dark and drab area and the works carried out by Joe has not only changed the look of the whole room, but also bought back to life the original units. We thoroughly recommend both Howdens and Joe Sharpe with absolute confidence.

Since writing this review, Howdens after sales manager has now arranged an amicable solution to this issue.

Worst kitchen we have ever had and guarantee not worth the paper it is written on. White gloss kitchen bought 2021 . Emailed local Howden’s for help, but felt fobbed off. Up-stands all bubbled and splitting- been quoted just over £1000 by local firm to replace up-stands/doors.
Howden’s basically said you have to seal kitchen before you fit it and our fault. Never heard this before.
Ikea white gloss kitchen lasted over 13yrs and still in great condition - only took out as changing the floor plan of the kitchen/diner. Feel really disappointed.

The £25k experience was helpful from begining to end. The only annoyance at the end of the project was the inability for Howdens to store the pre-purchased kitchen for another couple of weeks to help with installation site logistics.

They seem to just make the price up! We had exa try the same wardrobe quoted from 2 different Howdens, with wildly different pricing. Surely ther must be a pricing structure to ensure fairness & transparency??
Add to that not even a phone call over an idea of what time delivery would be. A day of work lost as the delivery didn't turn up until 4.40pm, & only after I had phoned to ask if it was still being delivered.
Customer service really does need to improve.

This company will do anything in their power to stop anyone claiming on their warranty for the poor quality items they sell. Flooring barely lasted 3 years. After being specifically told by them and the fitter to install the floor the way we did, they insist they did not and now the floor is knackered, will not accept responsibility. Would never recommend to anyone.

Gina from the Bridgwater branch has been amazing. From start to finish she has made our journey a lot less stressful, from coming out to visit, myself going into the store to make sure I choose the right colour choice, to organising the Quartz's team. Very happy customer

I deeply regret getting my kitchen from Howdens. The quality of the units is inferior and the kitchen sink has a huge chip in it already. Having saved for years I am deeply disappointed. When I emailed my local branch in Newton Abbot to complain about the chip in the kitchen sink they could not have cared less. Extremely substandard products.

Bought 2 kitchen doors and was surprised to find holes for hinge fitting on both sides. The doors could have just holes on one side if turned through 180 degrees for the opposite opening. The 6-hole design for the door is therefore a company oversight; however being charged for 6 blanks was an even bigger oversight. A few pounds was insignificant but showed Howdens in a very bad light.

Very good experience overall and a massive thank you to Bill Bedford of Howdens in Seaford… patient doesn’t begin to cover it.. explained everything to the point where I actually thought he was going to come to my house and fit this kitchen himself.. what a great guy for Howdens Kitchens to have onboard… cannot fault my experience from start to finish.. thanks Bill

Delivery arrived At 8am prompt ready for Samuel De-Ste-Croix to take in and start work, perfect.
All work carried out in an efficient and clean way.

My builder used a Howdens branch in Bury and they were excellent . Except they told me that I could have a coffee maker as a thankyou for my purchase. My emails were ignored as I enquired twice. ( unless my builder claimed it of course) Small issue but after spending such a lot of money with them a little coffee maker wouldn't have hurt. Had to buy some extra shelves and door knobs and used the Hazel Grove branch, they were excellent! First class customer service, fast polite and friendly. Well done Hazel Grove

We had 2 quotes from Howdens, nothing special, lack lustre design. The last quote was in December 2023 where the “designer” said I will come back with the price for the quartz - never did. The designers at Howdens Warminster are a complete joke , very amateur with no real world experience of designing kitchens or driving a sale. We have since bought elsewhere with better quality and experience.
