Had the most outstanding service at the Exeter guildhall shop. The customer service was amazing, the Manager Simon was so knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed. He sorted out the problem with my watch. I would highly recommend this store, great staff.

Incredibly unhelpful and rude manager. My daughter has lost two earrings from two different sets due to the backs of the earrings being so loose. Insurance was taken out but it doesn’t cover loss apparently. She has only had the earrings for 3 months and the manager wasn’t willing to replace even one set. Her response was “my jewellery box is full of missing earrings, it’s just one of those things”. Really disappointing.

We had a fabulous experience buying our wedding bands with Hayley the Assistant Manager at the Exeter store. She explained the different type of bands, we tried them all on, she advised on what band would fit with the engagement ring, the types of metal that would be the best for wear with our professions to ensure that these one time rings would last our lifetime given they are such a precious and meaningful purchase. We had experience of other suppliers which weren't great but Hayley was by far the most thorough, she wasn't pushy, she was kind, she listened and helped us to pick the most perfect rings! The ring sizes we needed were not in stock but Hayley ordered them so they could be delivered straight to our door in a few days! Hayley also assisted in selecting the engagement ring which was also perfect for the most romantic engagement. Thank you Hayley so very much! Manager at Exeter just made everything perfect for my son and his fiancee from choosing their wedding rings, delivery, pricing and advice. Jade couldn't have done any more for them. Thank you so much

I went in with my son today to get some links taken out of watch he received for his birthday. The three ladies that served us were absolutely lovely, kind and we received the best service. Very very happy. Such friendly and welcoming people. One of them was called Jade. Thank you all for being so nice and helpful ❤️❤️❤️

Went into H.samuel's today to find a little ring for our three year old daughter as she's obsessed with mummys rings and constantly wants to wear them. Verity was absolutely amazing with her she took the time and patience with my daughter which as everyone knows with a three year old can be quite testing🤣🙈. We asked if the ring could be held behind the counter so we could have a nosey around and do a bit of shopping and Verity said that was absolutely fine. Now by the time we actually managed to get around the shops with our daughter we didn't actually realise the time and came back to H.samuels to purchase the one that was left behind but the shutters had started coming down and the door was being locked. This was going to be a massive blowout for our daughter as she was saying "oh no my ring" and was on the verge of having one of a three year olds famous tantrums. Verity saw us outside and reopened the shop to let us and our little girl in to get her a ring like mummy's and we managed to actually come home with 2 rings for our little one! Verity your an absolute angel. The time and patience you took with our little one was amazing and you made one little girl very very happy to come home with a ring like her mummy. The service was absolutely amazing and we will be back for our jewlery needs.

I went to the exeter branch of samuels with my wife to purchase a gold chain.they did not have it in the store but said they would post it.this was on 10/7/2021 we would recieve it on the 14/7 we still have not recieved it.after numerous phone calls to exeter shop & head office i still have nothing for my money no chain no refund no apology.do not go to these people they do not care about their customers. i wont use them again

Bought some earrings from Exeter H Samuel, I had a problem with the butterfly back's, a week later the staff were so helpful trying to adjust them , but gave me new back's , polite and professional

Very friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The manager, Simon was very helpful and superb service. Have shopped there many times, due to the fact that their service and staff and manager are the best I've ever dealt with.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting very good service, and quality products.

Thought I needed a new watch strap but watch was damaged so needed a new watch. Assistant explained/showed me the problem and fitted the strap to a new watch. Fully met my needs.

I bought a ring for my Mum’s 86th birthday. Verity who served me was very helpful in explaining what I needed to do should it need re-sizing. She was knowledgeable, polite and courteous. Ordering was easy and it was delivered to my house within 3-4 days, beautifully packaged.

When I visited the store with my Mum to have the ring re-sized we were served by Jackie who was friendly, bubbly and a pleasure to be served by.

Both Verity and Jackie are a real credit to the store and the customer service they provide.

Bought a chain from your Exeter branch. The lady that served me was excellent. Very helpful. She had a chat with me and treated me like a person not just a customer. Very pleased.

I needed a new silver chain for a precious pendant and called in to H Samuel's. The lady was most helpful and brought a range of chains to me.She helped me choose an appropriate one and put my original one in a box.
