I visited HSBC Bridgnorth branch today and was greeted and helped by a lovely lady called Anita. Very friendly and helpful trying to help me change a standing order that I was having trouble with. Whilst assisting me she also mentioned that I could open a savers account to earn money rather than in my other account where it wasn’t earning any interest at all. She also called me back because she found my bank card which I’d left on the side by mistake. Thank you so much Anita you were fab. 10/10 for customer service x

A current account was opened in 1985 with Midland Bank. HSBC has been responsive and secure with all my accounts since then.

My bank account is in Bracknell, myself and the family moved to Warrington, however, we did not move our account. I generally use the online facility and have no problems with this, the staff in the Warrington branch are very helpful if I need to see someone face to face for a specific question.

HSBC has been our bank for decades and we’ve always had good service. Have a UK call centre is what has kept us with HSBC. We’ve used many of their services, loans, mortgages, overdrafts, private and business accounts, investments and much more. They treat us well and we stay loyal.
It would be good to have travel insurance, but being over 70 is the cut off despite very good health and fitness.
It is almost impossible to provide feedback. The autobot is annoying and a closed loop system. The list of payees is not a list of payees but a list of payees + reference. Multiple different payments to one payee can fill up the limited list. This really should be changed.
But we like HSBC and will stay with them.

I have banked with HSBC for 20 years, and I must say it is one of the best banks I have ever used.Over the years, I have experienced some financial difficulties, and HSBC has always been incredibly supportive. They have helped me cope during challenging times through the services and assistance they provide.Like any organization, there may occasionally be one or two individuals who are not as understanding of certain situations. I have been with the HSBC for around 45 years. Ive had loans which ive always paid back on time. Never been overdrawn. Have a balance in current account of aound £1000 pounds always. A year ago i needed a new lap top urgently so i applied for a £2000 loan. Used the automated system and was turned down. No reason given. In the end i managed to loan the £2000 which has been paid back. I have around 90000 with the hsbc. I would say im a loyal customer and this is not how you should treat them.

The online banking is easy to use although I do miss the interaction with people and now if I need a branch it is a ten mile journey away. There has never been any incentive offered by other banks that have made me think of leaving HSBC. I am a loyal customer and think that over 50 years with them shows how much I think of them.
