Passing first time

Keith is a fantastic instructor made my training enjoyable he gave very clear instructions and always pointed out mistakes that I needed to work on he is very calm and precise. Anybody who wants to train for hgv book with Hughes they are outstanding

What a down to earth strong instructor I’ve learnt so from him, I built confidence in stuff I didn’t know I needed thank you.

Trailer driving course, the instructor was very good at passing knowledge and on the driving side was encouraging and gave positive feedback .

My instructor Steve from Plymouth was such a fantastic instructor. I was so nervous about driving a Class 1 HGV but Steve Is so patient and laid back and was very good at explaining everything I needed to know and also kept me calm and collected during my whole course.
I passed first time and I couldn't have done it without Steve so thankyou so much! Dan

A very intense experience for the PSV course but excellently led throughout by Adrian (Ady). Explained things very clearly. I was fearful of driving such a large vehicle on the first day but Ady kept me calm throughout and reassured me.

Brilliant company! Big shout out to the instructor from Bristol Jim (Nige)! Makes you feel relaxed lovely guy! He’ll be glad to know we kept his pass percentages high!! Highly recommend!!

I can’t recommend Hughes Driver Training Ltd enough! I just passed my test on the first attempt, and it’s all down to the quality of the training here. My instructor, Paul was incredibly patient and made the whole learning process enjoyable and strees free. The lorries are well-maintained and great to drive. If you're looking to get your license quickly and confidently, this is the place to go!

I booked my class 1 training with Hughes after speaking with Matt on the phone and hearing of a Black Friday offer they had coming up - who’d have thought it on HGV training?

The whole onboarding process was smooth with plenty of payment options if required.

Communication was generally good the whole way throughout the process of doing medical/theory/cpc/practical tests which are all arranged and booked by Hughes, all you have to do is turn up having done the revision where required.

Course learning materials were very good, including the online interactive theory/hazard perception.

Saving the absolute best till last was the practical training based out of the Wellingborough training centre. I was fortunate enough to have Heidi as my instructor throughout the process, she took me from having never driven an artic before on the Monday to a very good pass on the Friday.
Excellent training style, has years behind the wheel so has seen it all and uses that experience to the candidates advantage coupled with her great sense of humour it was a really good week.

Would highly reccomend both Heidi and Hughes Driver Training

Props to Andy B and James at the Alfreton centre for getting me passed first time. Their knowledge and wisdom is second to none. Absolutely top guys couldn’t recommend them enough

I took my class 1 training in Exeter with HDT and got Steve as my instructor. Steve has been amazing and patient with me, he has a lot of knowledge in training and knows exactly what to say to aid you and talk you through manoeuvres. I would highly recommend him to anyone especially since I passed first time.
