HULU is the NUMBER ONE WORSE streaming…
HULU is the NUMBER ONE WORSE streaming app. on this planet!!!!! I agree w/ other reviewers in that it drops [ kicks you out of the app. ] suddenly for NO reason and there's too many ads.
******* worse app on this planet!!!!! ********
We canceled Hulu, and we're not the only ones
We canceled Hulu because the commercials are deafening. Several other people we know have also canceled Hulu due to the changing volume. There should be a law against the volume changes. Please fix the volume changing with commercials.
Constant ads at the worst possible…
Constant ads at the worst possible time. Not even worth it for the cheapest version. I get ads right before the credits of my show then immediately at the beginning of the next episode. They are roughly 2 minute long unskippable ads. 4-5 ads for a 20 minute episode is ridiculous
They got ya where they want ya
They got ya where they want ya. Even if you get their subscription you still have to get add-ons to watch movies in their library. Bad form Hulu!
The worst
The worst, i had brought two 50 dollar gift card, one for hulu the other disney. I redeem it and seen the new date for re billing, but of all an sudden it disappeared, and hulu can't see on there end.
Hulu' monthly charge is ridiculous
Hulu' monthly charge is ridiculous. I have been waiting all morning for reception with an error message---not the first time. Hulu charges then does not help, fix to correct the problem--just charges, what a way to cash in and not serve.
HULU false accusations of change of location
My Samsung TV has been in same location in my House for years. Every week I get warning my location has changed and after 4 such warnings, I am not allowed to sign in. I have to call HULU and it takes an hour to reset sign-in. HULU needs to cut this bullshit out! I am considering initiating class action lawsuit against HULU.
It was impossible to watch a movie
It was impossible to watch a movie. There would be an advertisement break. The screen went blank. Movie didn’t come back on. When the movie was brought up again “Watch again” was the only selection. King of the Hill started playing. Very negative experience.
Where do I start….
Where do I start?
Hulu is a perfect example of what corporate America has done to the world …. they don’t care about anything but making money and certainly don’t give a crap about what the consumer wants… When will America corporations realize that people just wanna be treated with respect, instead of lying to people, and pretending that they’re gonna give them a service that is valuable… What a joke
I will never ever be a part of Hulu ever again…
Every other free streaming service on the planet show less commercials than Hulu.
How dare they charge you for the service and tell you…. Oh …. You need premium service for no commercials.…… give me a break
S T A Y A W AY
Don’t even give them a chance…..they are nothing but money suckers….with no regard to INTEGRITY…… you know the thing that democracy was built on.
I guess that is what America has become…. LAZY
Never again
I think it’s absolutely hilarious that they won’t let me leave this review unless I tell them who I am by signing in…..
Well F @ & K Y O U H U L U !!!!
might as well live in Russia….. lol
Paleeeze…..
Tubi
Pluto TV
Or anything else will be better than HULU!!
That’s probably why they partnered with Disney…..no one would order Hulu unless they needed Disney also….
Well Disney…..kiss my bitt….you can just get less market share because of your disregard to the end user….
Take that to the bank and see what it gives you…..
I hope you realize that eventually people will know what you are about……by your fruits……
Hulu is notorious for its heavy ad load.
Hulu has some great shows, but the advertisement experience is honestly one of the worst among streaming services.
Hulu is notorious for its heavy ad load. The base tier runs around 9 minutes of commercials per hour, frequently breaking into intense or dramatic scenes.
The ads come on so frequently — sometimes every few minutes — that it completely disrupts the flow of the show. It becomes hard to stay immersed or enjoy what you’re watching.
I understand ads are part of the lower-tier subscription model, but the volume and frequency feel excessive compared to other streaming platforms. Watching a single episode can feel more like watching commercials with brief interruptions of the actual show.
Hulu really needs to improve the balance between content and advertising because the current experience is frustrating.
Ai descriptions
It seems like they’ve introduced ai to their descriptions, effectively ruining them. Ai ruins every piece of writing it touches, as short as two to three word descriptions are unnatural, unintelligible. Whoever’s responsible should feel ashamed. No doubt it ruins the search function as well. Way to destroy everything. Thanks for nothing.
The only reason I’m giving it one star…
The only reason I’m giving it one star is because zero stars is not an option. The ONLY good thing about Hulu is they have several of my favorite shows. However the amount of commercials and the fact it is the EXACT same ones every single commercial break is freaking beyond ridiculous. Additionally if I pause my show right after a commercial break, and it’s paused for more than 45 seconds or so, when I come back and press play, it will start the show not where I left off, but about 20 seconds before the commercial I just finished watching and make me watch the same damn commercial break again. Hulu ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!
Customer service doesn’t know what to do
There is a show, Judge Judy, that records on a station I’ve never even heard of Dable, every morning at three and 330. While I have marked this show as a dislike, and I have made sure that on its homepage there are no recordings set, it is still recording every night. I spent 30 minutes on chat that abruptly ended when I told the customer service agent the things he was telling me to do were not visible on the app, on the website, or on my television. Then I spent over an hour with a CSR who was telling me to do things I had already done, such as make sure the page isn’t marked to record. This has been going on for months now. When they escalated my concern, I was basically told I would have to reach out to Verizon to get a better Internet signal for them first. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is one show on one channel that does this. Yet they are all fluxmmoxed as my issue seems to be novel to them. I can’t believe I was with customer service for that long, I still have the issue, and they are doing nothing about it.
too many commercials
although, I understand that I'm going to have commercials when purchasing the cheaper package...compared to the other streaming companies, there are way too many, excessive, commercials. It's annoying & not interested in renewing.
Don't pay for Hulu
They need to hire a new development team. The product is actually horendous. Can't keep a stream running for more than 10 minutes consecutively, recordings hardly work at all, constant bugs everywhere.
I would definitely leave a zero review…
I would definitely leave a zero review if I could or possibly a negative 1 review. I’ve been a customer for years and I’ve only ran into issues starting with the price increasing, which is ridiculous and then the application not working properly. I’ve reached out to speak with people in regards to this and nothing has been done. I had to request a refund just to get my money back because the services they offer are terrible.
Garbage terrible app to actually pay…
Garbage terrible app to actually pay hard earned money for
The UI is crap and you can’t fast forward
The UI is crap, the mobile app is something that an 8th grader could improve, how it records (if it does) is so cumbersome it’s insane they never fixed it, and you can’t fast forward through commercials. TiVo is better, shoot, a vcr is better bc at least you can fast forward through commercials. Hulu tv is total hot garbage.
