Keys Are Temporarily Exhausted

I bought the bundle of "Dice and destiny" exclusively for the Pillars of Eternity games.

4 days after buying it, they still haven't given me the keys. And the only way to get them is to waste time checking from time to time If they already have more keys.

Games expired within 2 months of…

Games expired within 2 months of purchasing them, no email no warning, you have to check each game to see the fineprint saying it will expire by this time, really scummy, if you buy a bundle of keys they should NOT have a redeem date, what I choose to do with those keys is on ME how long i take to play or redeem them is ON ME, SCUM

Did not get what I paid for.

Purchased a $25.00 bundle. The link to redeem did not work. Was told to wait a few days and try again. Tried for over a week and still not working. Told to talk to the companies featured in the bundle. They also were no help. Do not buy from these people. Whoever runs it now does not care anymore.

Does not deliver keys for several games…

Does not deliver keys for several games purchased in monthly bundles. Claims its out of keys and can't even offer an estimate for when my purchases might be fulfilled.
I'm still (as of April 2025) waiting for the delivery of two keys from Dec 2024. Also waiting for two more keys from March 2025. Waiting for key delivery for several months even though the product had been paid for has happened a lot in the past year.
In other words: They are selling keys in quantities that they don't have - even though the demand for keys for their monthly subscribers should be very plannable. They continually refuse to offer any estimates for delivery or other solutions for these issues.

Pure scam

Pure scam. Half of my keys can't be redeemed because they were already claimed by other users. So I basically paid for nothing. Also, many things I bought in the past can no longer be downloaded, like assets and books.

Arnaque pure et simple. La moitié de mes clés ne peuvent pas être activées car elles ont déjà été utilisées par d'autres utilisateurs. J'ai donc payé pour rien. En plus, beaucoup de choses que j'avais achetées auparavant ne sont plus téléchargeables, comme des ressources ou des livres.

Carefully with bundles

It's a site where you can find good deals, but be careful with the bundles. You might buy games that you pay for but never receive. They show you a message saying they've run out of keys and will notify you when they get more. However, they won't refund your money because they've given you part of the bundle, but you'll never get the remaining games. I'm a Humble Choice subscriber, and I'm still missing 28 games—yes, 28—stuck with the message: "Keys for this product are temporarily out of stock".
They also gave me a key that, when I tried to redeem it, said it was duplicated and had already been used. When I filed a complaint, they responded saying they would inform the technical team, then closed the complaint and never got back to me. So I was left with a useless duplicated key.

I used to enjoy purchasing from HB

I used to enjoy purchasing from HB, but now everything is either a chore or I don't receive the products I paid for. I bought two of the Spring Screams Bundles and have yet to get a single code for Ad Infinitum (part of said bundle). It's been nearly a year and they sell it on their store, so they obviously have codes.

bait and switch

i have been using humble bundle since the beginning, when it gave meaningful bundles at meaningful prices but that changed a few years back, before they rebranded humble monthly as humble choice and started to inflate the price

but thats not my main gripe, the main issue i have is the bait and switch tactics they employ

its been about 18 months since there has been a bundle that in my opinion has been worth purchasing, but recently they sent me a promotion via email that i could have a months worth of humble choice for 8 US dollars, despite the fact that i live in the UK and my native currency is the pound. none the less, the deal enticed me

so, i went to the website to redeem and lo and behold, despite expecting to pay the equivalent in UK money, despite the fact there was an orange banner on the humble store saying 8 dollars for one month, and despite receiving an email offering me a month of choice for 8 US dollars.........upon adding the bundle to the cart the price was completely different during the check out process - it was £8 GBP and not the $8 USD as advertised, which means the price was around a third more than they were offering

so, what i did was contact their support team..........it took weeks to get a response and when i received a response they asked me for verification that i was the account holder - fair enough although this doesnt really make any difference to what i was actually contacting them about, anyway, after waiting over a week longer from the point of providing the verification they asked for they responded simply to say that the discount had already been applied to my account. great, i already knew that but still i gave the benefit of the doubt and checked it and sure enough there was no difference whatsoever other than they had removed the orange banner advertising a month of humble choice for 8 USD

so i emailed them again and told them i already knew that and thats what i was emailing them about in the first place, that the price they were charging during checkout is 33% more expensive than the price they advertise by email and called it bait and switch - i am still waiting for a response

but that is not why i am leaving this review, i am leaving this review because i am STILL getting emails falsely advertising the price of the monthly choice to be 8 USD when this is simply not true and this to me is very poor business practice and frankly deceptive marketing which in my opinion warrants the lowest review score that i can possibly give them

Key Stocks exhausted

I have been a loyal customer of humble choice for almost a decade now and I have to say that the quality of the Service has gone down severely. It used to be that keys were available all the time, but nowadays it gets more common for keys to be out of stock and for example to only be able to redeem 4 out of 8 games of the monthly bundle. Really annoying because you don't know when or if keys will be restocked and then the question is how many and are you fast enough to secure one before they are gone again.

Terrible company

Terrible company. They sell keys they don't own and tell them you will get them someday.
I am already waiting for over 3 months for a game I bought.
I am a customer for years and they refuse to help.

They lost my trust.

I have been a monthly/choice yearly subscriber since February 2017.

For years they have earn my trust on purpose. Support was responsive and would solve any problem fast. And if a key was out of stock they would be restocked often in a month.

But since a few years things have gone from bad to worst!
I'm still missing steam keys for the choice for
Nov. 2022
Jul. 2023
and worst of the worst for 2024 I'm missing one or multiple keys for the following months:
Mar., Apr., May, Jun., Aug., Oct., Nov., Dec.
And last I'm also missing a steam key for Jan. 2025.

This practice of selling more Choice bundle than they have keys is inacceptable! It's the far west, with the first come first served. Without any regard for the subscribers who have paid in advance for their keys!

Overwhelming positive review for Humble Bundle

Seeing the reviews on Trustpilot here is... so strange, lots of bad reviews, let me change that.

Humble Bundle's Choice is almost good everytime, includes HL prices for some games, there might be cool expensive games that you wouldn't want to miss, and that's really from HB.

I also wanted to mention good support team, when I received a country-restricted game key in a no country restricted Bundle, I didn't get refunded or ignored but got my key quite fast.

There were reviews: "They stole my money! I received a key but it was duplicated and I can't refund!", guys, you can't refund if the key is correct, if it's not and it's duplicated, you can always ask the support.

Not only, the Support Team is so good there. I've had a hacker attack on my PC, and he began purchasing stuff on Humble Bundle from my account, sending gifts to himself from my account worth more than 100$. Luckily, the support team noticed this action, and immediately stopped the action, saving me from paying lots of money.

Selling non-refundable out of stock Steam keys

Purchased Steam keys from this site and when trying to get the Steam keys I'm being told they are out of stock. Reading around it's apparent I won't ever be getting these keys that I paid for or a refund. I'll be reporting this fraudulent charge to my bank.

Retroactively robbing you of keys you purchased years ago!

They are operating a new scam (and totally illegal under EU consumer laws) by changing their terms of service, without any announcement last December and just declaring that anything you bought over 3 years ago... had to be redeemed or possibly lost.
A policy like this, to be legal, should be properly announced by email to anyone still holding keys, then mentioned on any purchase page so people know what they're in for, *then* applied to *FUTURE PURCHASE", not slipped in terms of service regarding past purchase.

Completely illegal and even if it wasn't, absolutely unacceptable!!!

Worst user experience

I purchased their bundle on January 27th and just two days later, it was discounted by $2. Both of them used coupons, but the price dropped within two days. Surprisingly, the same coupon code offered different discounts. Obviously, the sales volume of this bundled package did not meet expectations. They directly chose to let the already purchased users suffer losses in order to promote. I tried to contact customer service, but they only replied after 4 days and told me that they not only did not provide a refund, but also did not provide a refund price difference, which is difficult to accept.
