I bought my son an 8 in 1 games table second hand and realised two parts were missing. I contacted the company and was told they couldn’t send the separately. I chased this up and spoke to Shaun who was incredibly helpful. He emailed me back to say they were in stock and he’d send the out next day delivery. My son was so happy to have these parts had I was really pleased with the customer device from Shaun.
Great customer service, from my perspective
I purchased 2 Hy-Pro PVC football goals a couple of years ago, which have been great. recently, however, two of the plastic pole connectors have broken (through high-impact use I should mention). I emailed the company to see if I could purchase spares and was replied to quite promptly with the offer of 2 replacements, sent conpmetely free of charge. I didn't think customer service existed anymore, this has restored some faith.

Bought a mug they sent out in a brown paper bag. Surprise surprise it arrived in pieces. No refund till I have a trip into town to return the smashed up mug.
Avoid this football table, you have to make it from scratch
This is £140 in spots direct and retails for £195. It's in bits, they should pay you for making it. It's false advertising as it shows a folding football table in a box big enough for the table to be assemble and fit in that box. However, it's in tiny bits, so could fit in a conventional square box. Disappointed is an understatement. I opened this for my grandsons bday expecting it to be build, it doesn't even have the players on the sticks, I have to do everything. I've had it too long to return it now, waiting for his bday. what a joke. Really who even does that. If I just had to put the legs on, fair enough, but I have to make the actual table myself, you are rude. You are charging £200 and all you did was cut and paint some wood.
Avoid! Defective Product + Customer Service passing blame
I bought a 12 in 1 games table, however, only three months after purchasing, the table leg began to delaminate. After being told that there were no spare parts in stock and referencing the manufacturer’s warranty, I asked if they knew when they had more in stock, and the customer service team saw it fit to try and blame us for the table leg delaminating because we put it on a carpet, and told us to iron it on (what??)
Putting aside the fact that a table leg should not be delaminating if the table sits in place on a carpet - it’s one thing to try and get out of your responsibilities under the Consumer Rights Act, but to immediately resort to passing blame to the customer for a defect is unnecessary behaviour and thoroughly disappointing to see.
Great customer service
Given the reviews I thought it would be good to provide my experience. I bought a HY-PRO AIR HOCKEY table from Argos was just past the year mark and the hockey Puck stopped working. Emailed their customer support and within 2 days they sent me a new one. Really nice customer service experience and made my son happy thank you Hy Pro.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Spent 3 hours building a football table for my 5 year old son’s birthday. Only to find it had a small but key part missing. Purchased through Argos. No reply from Argos after two weeks of contacting them and hy-pro, after contacting them directly, said not only could they not send the replacement part but they also failed to signpost me to a replacement part from a third party. Ruined my the experience for my son. Now have an unusable table football in the house as a constant reminder of the incompetence of hy-pro.

If I could give 0 star I would. I bought a football net through B and Q that was faulty. The company refused to accept my return even though I sent loads of photos!!! Horrible customer service! They are quite rude! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Theie operation is an organised scam. How can yoi refuse a return on an item when that was not stated in your return policy? I wish I had read thr reviews before I made my purchase.
Poor product, and poor customer service speed
There was a problem with the JaxJox Kettlebell I ordered. The app did not work and had no solution, so the item was not as described. A first response to my email was not helpful to the issue. After copying the Consumer Act recommended wording from a sample letter from Which, I was able to return the item. However, I am still waiting for a refund over 3 weeks after the item was received back by Hy-Pro

4ft football game
We purchase a 4ft football table for our grandchildren which said it folds away for easy storage but it does not fold up atall and we cannot store it .so the description of this game is in correct also when putting it together a lot of the pieces were chipped or cracked.although it looks ok now it is up it is not practical has i only purchase this because it said it folds away, also we were very disappointed has alot of the parts were damaged.
Zinc Sport, one of Hy-Pro products.
I had high hopes for Zinc Sport, but my recent experience has been disappointing. Since reporting an issue with my bicycle in November, I have yet to receive any meaningful updates or solutions. Despite several follow-up emails, communication has been lacking and has now ceased entirely.
The initial problem involved one of the pedals splitting in half while cycling through a junction, which was life-threatening. I received one replacement, but the same thing happened within a month. This is a major failure that needs to be addressed by manufacturing standards! Then, I had the crank arm coming loose and detaching from the spindle, causing a creaking noise when pedaling. I provided detailed explanations and photos to Zinc Sport to support my claim, but the responses I received were unhelpful and did not address the root cause of the issue. The suggestions given, like greasing the bottom bracket spindle, did not solve the problem—mind you, this was a brand-new bike!
To make matters worse, a new issue arose with the pawl lock on the rear wheel malfunctioning, rendering my bike completely unusable. Despite informing Zinc Sport about this, I have not received any guidance or updates on how to proceed with this new problem.
While I understand that the team might be experiencing a high volume of service requests, the lack of communication and resolution has been frustrating. My bike is essential for my daily commute, and being without it for an extended period has been highly inconvenient.
I don’t believe Zinc Sport can improve their customer service and provide timely and effective solutions to their customers. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend them ever!
Dangerous product and a company who ignores
Brought a Hy Pro football table and after 2 hours building noticed a small part was missing that held a screw in. I contacted Hy Pro who asked for pictures then asked for proof of purchase. Then emails back and forth to run out my returns time with Argos. After this they say they don't have the part return to Argos even though I said I would wait. Now Hy Pro just blank you and hope you go away.
Since then this screw has come loose and cut a hand.This is a poorly made product from china and when things go wrong they blank you. (Stay Clear Of Hy Pro)

Absolute joke of a company. Purchased a football table via Argos, 11 players on one team 13 on the other. They basically had two of the wrong poles in there with the players on. Emailed to tell them straight away on 1st May so my very disappointed children could get the right parts, got an email back to say send photos and proof of purchase for the warranty (it’s brand new!) which I did. I’ve been emailing to chase up as we have a redundant table….nothing. Completely ignored!
I’ll give it a few more days then take it all apart and stick it in the bust up box and dump it back at Argos unsellable for them. Shame, they could have easily apologised and sent two poles in the post to solve this. Kids are heartbroken.

Fantastic service
Fantastic service when replacing a missing part where the retailer failed to resolve the problem - very quick response, and the part was dispatched rapidly to arrive in time for a birthday, and Hy-Pro even went so far as to include a small gift for the birthday boy - rarely do companies go above and beyond these days but the service I received here was quite exceptional
Great service
Response times for customer service are a bit slow but they were happy to replace the broken parts for our games table even though I’d bought it second hand and couldn’t provide proof of purchase. The parts arrived within a couple of days of their email.
Broken Wheel Replaced No Quibble
I emailed Hy-Pro regarding a broken wheel on our table tennis table, the response was quick and they very kindly sent me the part no quibble despite the table being just out of warranty.
