Fantastic deal at the moment. £5 for a top wash and the guy at the Bathgate site is brilliant.
There were still bird droppings left on the car and bits of tree seed around the windows after it had been sprayed by the attendant and been through the wash cycle
Problems with buying a wash and token not showing in app. Ended up losing 2 washes due to token not showing and nothing operator could do as there was no QR code for them to scan. Had to pay another £7.50 over and above the £19 already paid. I have put in a complaint and requested a refund for the 2 washes in never received the tokens for. I showed the operator the emailed proof of purchase but as they didn't have the QR code he could do nothing.
The Machine stuck half way and not cleaned Perfectly. Soap stuck into the body and wheels are not cleaned
I visited IMO Car Wash today and chose the £13 Rain Guard service.
Before entering the wash, a member of staff took my payment and wrote the selected service on my windscreen with what looked like a whiteboard marker, which I assume was for identification.
After the wash was finished, the writing was still clearly visible on the windscreen. This was only a very minor issue, and I simply pointed it out to a member of staff, expecting them to wipe it off.
What really disappointed me was the response I received. Instead of apologising or checking the issue, the staff member immediately claimed it was because I had turned on my windscreen wipers during the wash. This was simply untrue. I have a dashcam recording that clearly shows I never used the wipers throughout the entire car wash.
To be fair, they did eventually remove the marks with a cleaning product, and once that was done, the issue was completely resolved.
The problem was never the writing left on the glass—it was the attitude. A simple apology and a quick clean would have been more than enough. Instead, I was met with an excuse and an attempt to blame me for something I didn't do.
It's disappointing because this was such a small issue that could have been handled professionally in less than a minute. Unfortunately, the way it was dealt with has made me reluctant to use IMO Car Wash again. I hope the company reviews how staff respond to customers when minor problems arise.
Got the service I paid for, car was sparkling and the staff were lovely
My car was really dirty and it looks like new again 9
First time using. No instruction regarding engine having to be left on etc I got panicked and switched off which initiated the parking brake, and then jammed the system up.
Left with soap suds and wax on the car, which then left droplet marks and smudges.
First time, last time.
The two guys at the car wash were rude, didn't want to help me when I asked questions. I bought the ceramic wash for £18. It says on the advert banner hanging on the site that I get free trippel form if I use the quick scan to buy the service, which I did. I asked they guys to confirm if I am getting it. They replied, "I don't know, not my business"I only work. I told them it's written on the banner, they replied "not my problem ". I didn't get the trippel form as advertised. My car wasn't cleaned properly either. So I won't be going back to that location. This is the London Colney branch.
Staff are friendly. They take care to ensure that they deliver what you need and go above and beyond
Deducted one star because the windows got completely smeared again when drying the car with the cloths. Cleaning was okay!
As always you pay for the top wash and yet afterwards your cars not clean, the attendant does an half arsed prewash.
The whole experience was painless, staff were pleasant and instructions were clear and the end result was a beautifully clean car.
