The app is bad worse than the desktop site. Too many glitches. Got very boring. I was a user for 10 years. The site just wants to ban you and get you in trouble.

I'd been on IMVU for around 15 years, but only ever had one account that really mattered to me. I invested a bunch of money in it, had friends I didn't have anywhere else, really enjoyed it.

However, after so many years, I just got told my account was banned for fraud - no evidence, no notes, no nothing. I tried to appeal, as they let you know you should if it's a false flag, but they don't let you log in to see the reply. I made a new account to ask them to write there so I could continue the case, then they banned that one too. All my money, all this time, all these friends, gone forever, for nothing. I am a manager in a company, I don't fraud people on a chat website, that's ridiculous.

Keep your money away from them cuz they don't care if you've given them hundreds or thousands of dollars, if you've been a VIP, anything - they'll just take it away in an instant for no reason and won't let you really appeal. It's really disgusting, I'm super disappointed.

Imvu is not for everybody especially for mobile users they dont care about nothing with us but dont mind taking our money to not ever fix a problem they just update and update without fixing nothing what so ever. Gone close all the other imvu versions to only have desktop version is sad the imvu tv on mobile is zoomed in and blurry for mobile users but do they care no. Im getting tired of giving up my money every month for to be treated like i dont exist mobile users need to not become vip because if u dont have a pc to change ur settings that vu tv not gone be no gud to u its a mess and they refuse to fix it and the only way to fix it is something to do with a dpi but mobile dont have that settings and thats something to do with imvu not my mobile nothing but they dont wanna except they game is trash

IMVU used to be fantastic, fun, and playful, but now it's violent and sexual. PERIOD. The program is garbage.

I’ve played for a few years now and the reviews are correct it’s full of toxic people sone people are good and nice but it’s a playground for weirdos bullying and sone really strange people on there I don’t recommend it a lot of underage people on there and a lot of sexual conduct it should be taken down or better regulated in my opinion

IMVU banned my 4-year-old account for misrepresenting my age, even though I had age verification and I didn't do it on purpose. IMVU doesn't look into cases individually, customer service is not that good - only in LIVE-chat, you get at least some kind of service and before using that service, you need to buy VIP.

I told them my realistic suggestions on their help page my account got frozen and I couldn't write anything. The mobile version is horrible to use without VIP because there are so many ads, their old webpage looks old and needs badly upgrade. Some products you buy on IMVU classic look bad on the mobile version.

IMVU's age limit is 13 with parents permission, but I really think it should be 18+. Overall IMVU is harmful environment for minors because its toxic atmosphere.

I would advice new users and old users not to spend any money on this game!

Only good experiences I got from my 4-year-old journey is that you can customize your avatar and maybe if your lucky, you can find pretty nice people.

As often said, its just a website for weird people. You get harassed easily and if you want to be something special in this game, you need to pay. If you don't chat with most of the people, its even kind of fun, but my account was permanantly banned without a good reason. I kinda liked this game, I feel so sorry for everyone who plays it. #ripimvu

They said the reason was illegal credit sales."so what does this mean? In other words, we have confiscated the vocins in your account. In this way, they closed my account with $1000 vocin. Imvu banned you for no reason. you give them proof that they made a mistake and they don't help you. they harassed their paying consumers and than they give you some bs excuses even if you have proof that the account is yours. Anthony from imvu help desk is an as well Michael Apollo. they both dont help what so ever they treat you like you are stupid

IMVU is awful, I’m harassed on there lots of times and I’ve been banned for reasons I’m unsure of because imvu doesn’t tell you. I am currently being harassed and imvu has not done a thing this has been going on for months. They don’t take the time to talk with you nor care, they just reply to you with an automated reply and if you keep trying to push through they will eventually ban you too. They do not refund you for anything either. And sometimes when you buy stuff they don’t even give it to you right away. I would give zero stars if I could. All the support members do not speak English either.

Over the past 17 years, it has had it's ups and downs, and I've seen many reports on not-so-great customer service. However, over the past 3 years, I've seen the company take new initiatives in both its organization, platform technology, security, safety, and transactions. The company's new name is now "Together Labs", with IMVU as a subsidiary, and was the first virtual world to initiate an official SEC approved/regulated cryptocurrency two years ago called VCOIN, for use specifically in a social online platform and transferrable into real-world currency. They are also the only one to design and provide their own 3D Creating software, "IMVU Studio", which makes created 3D item integration seamless into the platform's Peer Review system. IMVU markets heavily to the younger generation who use the platform on both computer and phone app as a "game", but a good percentage of users are much older who have been on 3D worlds over the past 2 decades, as well as as a virtual presence for real-life businesses, organizations, groups, DJ's, and entertainment. It still remains a 3D world for 2D screen, which makes it accessible to everyone, even on a phone-app, yet the graphic quality is greatly enhanced and noticable when using a premium graphics card. No matter what one may think of IMVU, it is truly, ...the great "Social Experiment" in all meaning of the phrase, and a place where you can be anyone and anything you want to be, and fullfill dreams not possible in the real world.

Imvu does not care for their customers at all, thier customer service is terrible ive been playing for a couple years now and so far ive had 3 accounts banned for no good reason and recently ive had my last one taken away from me again beause they said im violating guidelines and not being truthful about my age. I have never lied about my age the same age on my profile is the age i actually am and when i report and ask if i can show them proof they completely ignored my attempt to clear my case and just decided that they wont give me it back. They dont read the tickets they tell people to write unless ur someone really important for their business because im obviously not the only one experiencing this problems and its really upsetting. So if ur new avoid trying to spend money on this game if you can because they are ready to ban you for literally anything without allowing u to give proof.

My girlfriend made an imvu account 2 days ago and they put it on hold asked me to give illegal documents about my credit card let alone her id all that because i let her borrow my credit card and now she has 40 dollars sent but a banned account. they will find the slightest excuse to get more data base as they told me i have to make another account and then send my case to hers just so they can get more player base this company is just a bunch of scammers and illegal mfs

have had my imvu account for 15 years. I have bought AP. My age has been verified. I have spent so much money on my account. I was chilling in my room one day and we were on the topic of age. I typed. ‘I’m 33, but mentally I’m 12" and as we all know UK has banter. I was merely joking. I have never misrepresented myself as anything other than my age. 33. My account was banned. I contacted and explained my side of the story but they refuse to give me back my account. I explained that if I typed I’m 33, but mentally 80 that wouldn’t have been an issue right? I’m absolutely furious and explained it was just a joke. I don’t see myself as a child nor act like one online. They’re refusing to listen or understand and the customer service I’ve received is appalling. The levels of stress and anxiety I am experiencing from this is ridiculous. They allow people to harras and bully others to the point of su!c!de but when I state as a joke I'm young at heart, they ban me ?? Make it make sense IMVU. You have no morals, no empathy and my 15 years of loyalty meant nothing to you. Thanks a bunch.

If you have kids or a family I would stay as far away from this game as possible. This game does nothing and will teach you nothing but that it's okay to be a gangster this game has a agenda for people that thinks it's cool to be like that, this game was awesome in 2010-2012. But from what I'm hearing from reviews I'm not surprised if the game was run by hoodrats conning people out of money and catering to the toxicity of this game. So if you any other race but black or support the agenda of white people being exterminated because I saw a white girl say make (white boys extinct) then stay clear of this game because this is still going on ~Native Chief Hades~ Peace to all.

Yeah I deleted my old review because I'm embarrassed at the idea that people can recognize me and that things turn against me again and gave too many elements. I'm just at my wit's end from my months-long bullying case and I've had to come to terms with the fact that he'll never leave me alone and never stop bashing me in every room he goes and to turn all people against me until one of us dies. NO I haven't had any contact with him for a LONG TIME, YES I've blocked him from everywhere, and that doesn't prevent others from coming to tell me all the shjjjit. I can't even switch accounts because they systematically recognize me or track who I might be (yes, him and his "friends") I can't do anything at this point except...learn another language or being forced to leave when I'm the victim I guess? I tried to convince myself that everything would work out and that things would pass with time but everything got worse. this community disgusts me more and moreI came across other filthy people, some kind of disgusting sociopaths and sadists who eat the energy of others, rejoice in my problems and who treat me like less than a rubbish and aside from my personal case, I realized it was all screwed up when I saw the number of people blaming the victims of horrible behavior because they're just "weak human shjjt who should kill themselves if they can't stand it" and that "everything is only virtual so the harm done doesn't matter", "just close your pc and go back to crying in your corner like a child". I can't do anything more than tell you to never give out your private information or spend too much time on it and trust your intuition when you think something is wrong, because if you walk out of IMVU with this kind of sick you screwed up and these horribly mean people just screwed up my life way outside of this app, and i just can't do anything because i'm alone and nobody gives a fujjk and I've just had their belittlements and insults and their suicidal incitements in my head from morning till night, for years because those are the things that you never forget when initially you were this introverted and shy sickly kid who was looking for just an outlet for his suffering from the real world and very funny things like bullying at school and neglect from those around him? Trolls aren't that bad after all.

I recommend them to do the YouTube 3 strike system for creators , because I got instantly disabled for a mistake Worked 5 months very hard then boom account gone without any notice, I wouldn’t recommend to create on imvu
