Helpful advice over the phone.

Helpful advice over the phone.
Bought a set of Pro dye inks for my Epson printer. Lovely results with them. I found the inks produce really true colours and also black and white prints are excellent.
I have bought inks from Ink Express over several years and have always been pleased with their products and service.

Compatible ink cartridges may not work!

Well, the refillable replacement cartridges for my new Epson XP-2200 arrived as expected together with the four bottles of ink and four syringes for filling. I waited until the starter cartidges supplied with the printer were running low before trying the Ink Express ink. The goods came with a printout warning that I should untick the product status monitoring and automatic updates when installing the printer driver. Unfortunately the driver was installed weeks ago. The printer refuses to acknowledge that there are four newly filled and replaced cartridges in the printer ready to go. No matter how many times I try the different procedures for wiping the printer memory to be found on the internet I cannot get the printer to work. Ink express have been unable to offer any solutions. It would appear printer manufacturers are ensuring the software that accompanies the printer prevents the use of unbranded inks. Buyer beware!
