Were great to work with and never had any issues with them but the current wave of 1 star reviews seems to coincide with the steep fall off of production quality and speed I noticed in the last few months. I’ve had an order printed with an entirely different label from a completely different brand, seems as though there is no quality control or a lack there of. As for the speed in lead time and delivery I’ve had orders reach over 10 working days in lead time (before even being shipped) similarly to another review on this website I had to contact them to get the order moving or I could of possibly kept my customer waiting even longer. Which clearly contradicts their claim of 3-5 working days lead time on each product. If you are serious about your brand and want to succeed I’d recommend steering clear and working with someone else or holding your own stock because it’s not worth the reputational damage.

I really wanted to love Inkthreadable. As a UK-based POD service with a strong philosophy on sustainability and genuinely excellent product quality, they tick so many boxes on paper. Over the course of our time with them, we’ve spent nearly £1500 on merchandise for our martial arts club, so we gave this a fair shot.

Unfortunately, the operational side just hasn’t matched the quality of the clothing. While the quoted fulfillment time is '3-5 days,' my experience has been vastly different. A recent manual order for just 6 shirts took an entire month to arrive. The real issue wasn't just the delay, but the silence; I had to constantly chase them for updates. If I hadn't initiated contact, I doubt I would have heard anything. As a business owner, this is a major worry—if this had been a direct customer order, it would have reflected terribly on our club.

Even now, we are dealing with accuracy issues and re-prints on other orders. The support staff are genuinely lovely people when you get hold of them, but the "replies in 1-2 hours" claim is rarely accurate—it’s often 6+ hours.

It is a real shame because the print quality is superb, but we simply can’t rely on them for accurate or timely fulfillment anymore. We will likely be moving back to Printify or trying Gelato. I had high hopes for a local UK partner, but the stress of chasing orders just isn't worth it.

Poor quality control. I had to cancel my Etsy listings for their products, which is a shame because they are the only good ethical option in the UK. There was clearly a printing error, but even when I sent the product back, they couldn’t identify what was wrong. I also received items with poor print quality, such as heat-warped surfaces and missing or incomplete details.

On top of that, I still haven’t received a product I ordered 20 days ago. All I want is an explanation, but the front-desk staff haven’t given me enough information.

I also don’t like their order-tracking system on the web site you have to click through numbers with no pictures, which is very frustrating.

Overall, Printful has much better quality control and customer service.

Absolutely awful service. Do not under any circumstances order with this business: there are far better alternatives who won't waste your time and effort.

I placed an order for a number of items with a 3-5 day dispatch promise on their website. Inexplicably, part of my order showed up but with no explanation as to where the missing piece was. I followed up multiple times, eventually receiving non-committal responses.

It's now 9 days since I ordered (4-6 days after the item should have been dispatched). It hasn't been dispatched, there is no guarantee of when it will be and it will now arrive too late for a birthday surprise.

The result? A ruined birthday, hours of my wasted time. The team at Inkthreadable don't care about their customers at all. And now I've requested a refund for the item that failed to arrive and they won't even provide that.

We thought we'd found the perfect solution for a legacy t-shirt to offer our members. With nearly 100 orders of over 175 units this was a sizeable first step into on demand printing.

However, this company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They refuse to offer phone support, no matter how many times you ask, and the result is endless miscommunication and wasted time. Trying to resolve repeated mistakes through slow, confusing email chains is beyond frustrating.

We spent longer than expected setting up our store. Not as easy as it should have been and trying to get support and videos to help us, was frankly a joke.

Once finally set up, we completed a test order with no issues, yet our first real order was cancelled by them because they suddenly claimed the artwork was wrong. After that, several orders showed up printed on only one side. Every time, they insisted it was our fault—even though the exact same design was printed correctly on some items and completely wrong on others.One client received 4 t-shirts which should have been identical except for the size ordered, only 2 items were correct. In one case, they sent a totally incorrect design that could have caused serious problems for the recipient. Their quality control is extremely unreliable .

Stock issues were handled just as badly. Even after customers chose alternative colors, we still had to wait for more than three weeks for an order they advertise as a five-day turnaround. There is no accountability, and no consistency. It feels like you are speaking with a bot.

When their products come out right, the quality is fine— and on the whole they rectified their mistakes without quibble, but for our first time using the company the headaches and time wasted just do not justify the price, and stress. The experience overall has been pretty hideous and I would not recommend.

My feeling is that this company may be good on a B2C basis hence the good reviews, but on a B2B basis, if you want to outsource to this company as a reliable print-on-demand supplier for products you will supply to your customers on order, be aware that the relationship can damage your business. I ordered four items on 12 November - 1 item was discontinued (you only find that out after you place your order), 1 item was out of stock but due to be delivered, and 2 items were in stock. I paid for four items and was refunded on the 1 discontinued item. However, by 24th November, 12 days later, only 1 out of the 3 items paid for were delivered, with no communication at all as to where the other two items are. The item that was delivered is about 10% of the cost of this order, so there are two products in the ether that there is no communication or information about, and you really get the impression that this company does not care at all. It takes a lot for me to leave a review for a company, let alone a bad review, but for entrepreneurs like me who really wanted to work with a local supplier, and one who has great products and reviews, I have invested a phenomenal amount of energy creating listings for my Etsy and Wix sites using this company only to be disappointed. I had to delete their app off my Wix site because it did not function and used another supplier, and I will have to find a more reliable supplier for my Etsy site as I cannot launch a business with this level of unreliability and a customer journey that leaves you feeling like they really don't care. The sample order has still not arrived 14 days later and counting.

Sent an order of 4 t-shirts that were all printed horribly. Really poor quality. When emailing for support I was met with a terrible attitude.

I lost access to my university email and reordered using my personal email. They’d emailed me two discount codes - I used the discount code a second time and received probably the worst email I have ever gotten from a company. Accusatory and horrific attitude about me reusing the discount code. If they’d have messaged saying I needed to cover the extra, I’d have paid, but instead they cancelled the order (the day before it was supposed to arrive!) and would only refund 25% of the original order that was in terrible quality. Avoid this company at all costs.

Got my delivery today and the print was as ever beautifully vibrant. My customers always remark the same too.

Order took far too long to come. Placed order 30/10 and arrived 10/11. Tried to cancel order for one of the shirts even though it hadn't started production yet but ended up only changing the colour.

Waste of time and money. Considering it's not cheap, the products still took 3 days to arrive rather than next day.

LOVE them. I ordered two hats and both printed the same thing, when they were supposed to be different.

Quick to respond, apologize, and send out the correct one.

Easy to set up as a new customer, great service, quick responses to communication and have now created numerous products. Looking forward to long business relationship

I have had nothing but amazing experiences with Inkthreadable. Em is lovely and is super quick and always helpful. I needed help with some sizing guides and other boring stuff and she was brilliant but the whole team is amazing, I have never had any issues at all.

Set up a page to source t-shirts/merch for my band. Really easy process, and the products are great quality, would definitely recommend :)

We have just switched to Inkthreadable and it has been very challenging setting up products.

We constantly had errors as we tried to create the products and we're having to manually link lots of them too so it has taken several days to complete.

Hopefully it gets better now!

Em from Inkthreadable is amazing! Whenever I need something, Em has been quick to respond, been very helpful and informative. As a POD brand, having this level of service from the team at Inkthreadable makes things easier.

Before switching to Inkthreadable, we tried Gelato, Two Fifteen, and Printful - but their lack of customer service made running a business impossible. With Inkthreadable, it’s been the opposite. Every time I’ve had a query, their customer support team has been quick, helpful, and reliable (a big thank you to Em who was super helpful and accommodating)

Another standout is their shipping options. Unlike most POD providers, they let you choose from a few couriers (we avoid EVRI at all costs), so being able to send everything Royal Mail 24 is a huge plus. Orders usually arrive within 6–7 days of being placed (inc weekends), which feels fair and consistent.

The quality of samples received so far has been really decent, aligned well and of good print quality. Plus we love their eco-friendly packaging.

Overall, I’d recommend Inkthreadable over most alternatives. In my opinion, they’re one of the better UK-based POD suppliers available right now.

Really happy with the products – quality is spot on and both the embroidery and print look great. Everything’s been finished to a really high standard, would definitely recommend.
