Exceptional quality of support personnel.

First corporately, and continuing for the last ten years, since closing the business retaining the Web Hosting Service for personal interests, i have been an IMH almost since their inception. . . now over twenty years. The "liveware" (human agents) have been exceptional. Only once, over that period have I ever encountered a tech support expert that I considered categorically unacceptable. That was early on, and the problem was one that fell into the "blame the customer" school of support.

The wait times for live support can be long. but the ability to submit a ticket and, in recent years, get same day response is rare to none existent elsewhere.

The overriding positive, that has evolved in recent years is that once contact is established the system tracks the ticket and train of discussion so that continuity of effort is continued as techs assigned change, and will take time to work the problem with the customer.

As a practical matter on a networked system, whose individual components can be updated by different vendors at will, often without knowledge of the user end-to-end configuration management is impossible. IMH has done an exceptional job of adapting as this has occurred.

My only complaint would have been that the simple binary choice of "Satisfied (Yes/No) was not really useful to management. IMH recently provided a text box for narrative comment that addresses that issue.

In simple terms, the support is the best in the business based on my experience over the years.

The worst Hosting company you would ever deal with

The worst Hosting company you would ever deal with. Zero customer service, Zero support, Incapable support team, Useless Migration team.

There is no complaint mechanism in that company. They do not care. Totally unprofessional.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. A complete time wasters.

Outbound emails bouncing

All the outbound emails from my company domain were bouncing with a message stating that the addresses were flagged with too many recipient complaints of spam, including the one and only email from an address I set up just to test the problem. The problem wasn't at my ISP or InMotion, but the tech quickly resolved the problem, which took about 2 hours to propagate through the web.

Full support When Needed

Adam, and the whole team at InMotion, are as helpful a bunch one could hope for when needing tech support and account mgmt.
I needed to break out and relocate a dormant website from my existing account and migrate it on short notice with little time to a new owner with new contact info, and billing details. InMotion helped me get it done patiently, step by step, with full phone support. Thanks guys!

I have been an InMotion customer for years !

I have been an InMotion customer for 3 or 4 years. They are the best ISP I have ever used and I've been creating websites for 16+ years. Their technical support is awesome. I currently have 4 domains on 4 different accounts there. I recently had a resource problem with one of my sites. Their solution was to add some rules to my htaccess file and they made the changes for me. Problem fixed. I recently decided to add CloudFlare domain access to one of my sites. I use phpBB for my forum software and phpBB doesn't support Cloudflare. InMotion tech support suggested a php code change (and gave me the source code) so that phpBB and Cloudflare would work together. Additionally, their support response time is awesome. On GoDaddy I had to wait days for a response. On InMotion I often get replies back the same day. Their online support chat is great. The thing is, their support team knows their business and they go out of their way to help. Quite a bit different from other ISP's I've used !!
