Avoid! Unless you want your time wasted...

Customer service is non existent. Didn't notify me that order was cancelled. No apologies or nothing. Message was abrupt and ticket was closed by Dan before I could even reply. Like other reviews I've read, my money has also not yet been returned to my bank account so will see how long it takes. Wouldn't be surprised if they were using OUR money to run scams elsewhere. Any positive reviews for this company are probably coming from inside the company so I wouldn't trust them too much...

Absolute useless company

Absolute useless company, ordered 4 portable hard drives from them, that clearly were a mis- price, but ordered anyway. I never expected them to be honoured if I'm honest, but the level of customer service is a disgrace. I week goes past and no sign of an email to say whether the order has been cancelled or fulfilled.

I log into my insight account to find no trace of the order at all, disappeared. Sent them a ticket regarding this, and all I get is " you order has been cancelled and any money pending or taken will be returned " No apologies of any kind

Well that's just great, £135 of my money is currently pending with my bank account for the past week, and obviously I have no access to this until insight cancel the order proper. No idea when this is happening. Absolute disgrace, never had this with any on-line company before and I've been ordering on-line for around 20 years now.

you have been warned, I shall never use these guys again and will be recommending friends and family don't either !

Be aware

Be aware, these clowns are scam masters. Ordered couple of things for my computer upgrade. I got confirmation then few days later an invoice for the purchase but no goods. I contacted them 2 weeks later asking where my parcel was, got a reply that there was a pricing error and to get it delivered I need to pay them £56.70 extra. Told them I am not going to pay and they cancelled the order however the did not provide me with a refund. I paid using a credit card and they say the refund may take up to few months while I need to pay it back within 30 days to avoid interest. Contacted credit card company and it looks like I will have to file a charge-back claim. It is a lot of work and time to waste. DO NOT TRUST INSIGHT!

Ordered ssd drive

Ordered ssd drive, received confirmation email with order number. Two weeks later nothing. Contacted them were is my item, got email saying there was price error, order will be cancelled. No word about refund. One of the biggest problems in UK, so many people lives here, so company can't give a Dam about customers. " you don't like us , somebody else will.."

EXCELLENT, trusted company. I read negative reviews beforehand.

Read the negative reviews beforehand, but took a chance due to excellent price of the processor I wanted. Thankfully everything went perfectly, fantastic price and low-value quick delivery. Definitely use again if needed. Not sure how all the bad reviews occurred, maybe they have fixed past problems, but even if things go wrong I am sure it will be easy to get a refund, which it almost always is in this day and age. I am just a personal/private customer, not a business. I used UK Insight. The processor was £20 cheaper than all other stores. I also found customer services very helpful and prompt when I asking questions before ordering. Utterly perplexing how all the bad reviews occurred, but I would be very happy to use this company again. The delivery was great, so quick and cheap, I think it was DHL, but with a similar priced delivery with other suppliers I would have waited one week or more for delivering instead of couple of days.

On the plus side

On the plus side, part of the order was delivered very quickly and quicker than we could get it from the manufacturer - which is what we normally do.

Beyond that, customer service is woeful. Woeful might be too kind a word since it would imply that they at least tried.

Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely despicable company- never…

Absolutely despicable company- never use them. They say you can return items- but if you open the box that becomes null and void- how can you possibly know what item has been delivered if you dont open the box!!
Customer services are just useless.

Insight uk are the worst company I have …

Insight uk are the worst company I have ever dealt with either in my position as a buyer for my company, but also as a member of the public. In my experience the customer service is non-existent with condescending and unhelpful staff whose aim is to make life as difficult as they possibly can. Numerous employee's time has been wasted on something as simple as a return.

Quite sceptical until I received my item in a timely manner

Well, All the reviews are pretty bad and negative. I read those comments after making the purchase and was doubt over if I will receive my order. Customer Services were quite tardy on replying enquiries. Need to submit utility bills after purchase, which is quite pointless. Some reviews stated the tracking number was untraceable and will not get your refund nor item forever. But, seems like this is not the case, I received my order two days after order place. Overall experience is good, at least better than other reviewers' experience.

Ordered 2 tablets, never received, no stock, no explanation!

I placed an order for 2 tablets and paid a shockingly expensive £11.99 for next day courier delivery. 3 days later and no receipt, so logged in to my account only to see an order status of 'Sourcing Stock'.
So this company sold me products they don't even stock and didn't even alert me to this fact!

After emailing customer services I received a short email reply with no apology or explanation: "Your order has now been cancelled , as we have not shipped we have not taken any money from your account , the bank will have ring fenced this until we ask for it , it normally takes the bank 2-3 days to return this to your account , any information you require on this please contact your bank."

Fantastic Operation

This site knows all about customer service. You may pay a little extra for your goods as they are not always the keenest price but you always have piece of mind with these guys.
