Good LMS for learning and updating knowledge

I approached ICA in January trying to book courses for my team, still waiting for their response. Worst customer service ever , if you have other options , don't waste your time .

I can't judge regarding the level of education. But my initial contact was so stressful and a nightmare. Almost 3 days I was busy trying to find a contact person to settle a payment via my employer. I wrote on Friday, waited for 2 working days. No answer on a simple question. Chat at the web site doesn't work

I started with the ICA certificate in anti money laundering few years ago, then completed the Advanced Certificate and most recently Diploma.
I found the Advanced and the Diploma courses really challenging and satisfying at the same time. All the course tutors are really good and have good commercial experience. Makes the courses interesting.
I would recommend ICA courses in anti money laundering, as they should provide a good foundation in Compliance environment.

This has been a wonderful experience, and I am so happy that I decided to dive in and embrace it as i did. I found the ICA staff very helpful and superb. The learning material was rich, informative, intriguing and challenging all at once!

I definitely plan to continue developing my skills along this compliance journey. Thank you again!!!

I took part in the ICA International Diploma in GRC from 2022 to 2023.

Contents:
-The course was well thought out and comprehensively covered all areas of GRC.
-The study materials were clear, well written and highly informative with ample examples and additional study materials.
-The online sessions were useful and informative, since they relied on having pre-read the materials and went into practical detail.
-The exams were interesting and practically oriented.

Improvement points:
-The course is overfocused on the UK
-Not all of the live sessions were clear or useful and sometimes felt like re-hashing the coursebook
-Not all exam questions and grading criteria were clear and sometimes the points awarded felt a bit arbitrary
-The online support can be slow
-The website is badly designed and even 1y later I struggle to find the items I'm looking for

Overall:
Good and useful course, I would recommend it and will consider the advanced diploma in the future

No one ever responds to your account queries. Twice so far, not even an email.

Kudos to the team- Great amount of time spent by the tutor to make sure that we understand the concept. I truly appreciate especially Mr.Ben Jones, one of the faculties' efforts and his unwavering commitment and enthusiasm in explaining things to the granular level. The case study is well thought out and real-life scenarios are often referred to.

I am 100%satisfied with the course

Don’t bother! Honestly the material is ok I did certificat in compliance, however for the cost is not worth it, they charge you a membership for a year of £100 and something on top of the course and I ended up paying over £1000, you only have access to you courses for 3 months and if you fail to pass the test 2 times, you need to pay extra £60 to have another go, which I’m sure somehow is made to do that. I understand not giving away answers, but how I’m I supposed to know what subjects to focus on if I fail one attempt.

If you have other options consider them. This is just my opinion and the experience was not worth it for the amount of money and time invested. I never leave reviews, but I hope this will help other people weigh their options.

Reading materials, progression of the modules structure and the online classes and revision

I obtained the AML Certificate. The learning experience was made easier due to the learning hub and the material provided by ICA.

The course was in depth with Kyc and CDD concepts and it has been truly a game changer to enhance my knowledge around these concepts

The learning support team is exceptionally helpful; whenever you have a query or issue, they are dedicated to finding the best possible solution. The learning platform is user-friendly. However, it's important to go beyond your handbook materials by reading blogs, newspapers, and research studies. The ICA Learning Hub is an invaluable platform for enhancing your knowledge of current emerging issues and events. The exam may not be as straightforward as you might expect. To excel, you need to be well-equipped with up-to-date knowledge and relevant industry examples to support your arguments. My experience with ICA has been beyond amazing, I'm over the moon.

At ICA International Compliance Association, the teachers are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly helpful. The entire course was highly educational, providing me with valuable insights into AML (Anti-Money Laundering) practices. Had a great experience on the Spec Cert in CFT. Curriculum is updated and highly relevant to contemporary issues.

As a holder in an MSc in Terrorism Studies this was the right certificate to translate my academic achievements into the practitioner environment

it helps me in my daily job as lots of AML examples/cases were discussed, also new ways of identifying the ML risks.

The ICA is well organized at all levels: support, finance, and teaching.

I last did the Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Crime and the course content was top notch. Applying its content is the way to make society better as it has a strong focus on Ethics and that businesses must act for the greater good - couldn't be more timely with many institutions looking at financial crime as a financial burden or even as a way to make money.

Update - the ICA sensor their reviews by requesting trust pilot remove negative reviews unless the person sharing their negative opinion gives over a email address and is willing to have contact. This review will be removed in the next three days.

The ICA diploma material is poor and not engaging. For just shy of £4000 inc vat your given a 450 document which has clearly not aged well and across the three modules a few uninteractive zoom calls with tutors who don’t understand the course structure so your left even more confused than when your started and rather than getting the answers they tell you to email in. Id even hazard a guess two of the tutors I’ve come across actually have a higher opinion of themselves and gained experience than their cvs/LinkedIn profiles would actually elude to so where making up half of their lives experience which is dangerous if people actually belive it.

I also found one of the tutors to be politically charged which isn’t really appropriate or professional.

The assignments are just a word salad meaning you have to spend more time dissecting them to understand what they want, than demonstrating your learning. The pre assignment zooms focus too much on repeating items from the course handbook rather than focusing on actually supporting you to prepare.

Assignment feedback is poor and clearly assignments are not marked by those with an understanding of the test subject.

As for support, it’s not existent.

Those who have awarded five starts are clearly not UK based and have lower expectations than the standards we expect here from such an institute.

I’m at a loss as to why the Manchetser business school wants to be associated in anyway with this company.

The course materials are well designed and the course gave me a great overview of regulatory compliance . I would like to thank you everyone for their kind support . I would like to suggest ICA to put additional sessions before the assessments to discuss some issues in order to understand well.
