Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 29 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people expressed significant dissatisfaction with customer service, describing it as unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to get proper assistance. Furthermore, consumers frequently felt that the high cost of the treatment did not justify the outcome, leading to a perception of wasted money. However, some customers also noted positive outcomes, reporting significantly straighter teeth and improved smiles, often finding the process discreet and comfortable. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the product had quality issues, such as ill-fitting aligners or retainers, or that the treatment did not fully correct their dental issues.

OMG! Wish I read these reviews before!

OMG! Wish I read these reviews before I went with Invisaline!
If you google, they only show raving reviews, but I know they do not reflect the real scenario now.
On my 7th set of aligners at the moment:
2nd set did not fit,
ordered me a new one, came a week late:
4th set was so sharp, I cut my finger on it trying to take it out!
6th and 7th sets broke in half!
Each set is so sharp that by the end of the day my tong is very sore. Advise from the dentist - file with a nail file. They clearly didn't try it themselves! Pay £4K and spend hours filing them down!
Complaint to my dentist with no success.
Message Invisalign on instaaram - all questions to your doctor, sorry, but thanks for the feedback.
Really concerned about the end result and will be considering moving to train tracks option now.
Thank you to everyone who took time to leave the reviews.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would!

If I could leave a 0 star review I would! I had invisalign and spent £3000 on them. Even once my course was completed my teeth were not completely straight, they also made all of my teeth wobbly. You'd be better off getting 'train track' braces fitted for the same price/cheaper but with better results! I'm now £3000 down and my teeth are wonkier than before I had the treatment. DO NOT BUY!

faulty aligners, back to square 1 when my treatment was officially over

my treatment was officially over, Invisalign sent my useless orthodontist several weeks worth of faulty upper aligners which were meant to keep my teeth from moving until my lower teeth were finally over (we were still working on the lower teeth).
I trusted the dentist, he never checks anything at all, just gives me the sets of aligners, and it took me a while to realise that they were faulty and my front teeth are now back to square one... crooked, and the dentist won't even apologise for the errors.
Be warned. Also, the refinements always seem to take double the time of the original treatment. It cost me £4k and now I'm going to have to revert to brace to clean up their mess! Invisalign sucks. Don't be fooled by 3d scan they show you when they want you to spend your cash, it's not even 'binding' as far as I know, you may not get that at all in the end.

I have to say I am very dissapointed…

I have to say I am very dissapointed with this treatment. I spent over 3500 euro getting my teeth straightened using invisalign with smiles dental clinic in Cork.

Half way through the treatment I had to go back braces as they were not moving as they should which delayed my finish date.. Eventually they did straighten my teeth and I was issued with 2 night time retainers and told that was the end of the treatment... Unfortunately my teeth moved over time through no fault of my own (I wore the night retainers as prescribed). I contacted Smiles instead of reviewing my case fixing they offered me another straightening treatment for 1500euro.!
I don't believe that when people set out to have their teeth straightened and pay that amount of money they do it on a temporary basis...

I think in hindsight I should of gotten a pernament retainer fitted..but that advice or option was never discussed with me..

There was no aftercare whatsoever with Smiles dental clinic and it seemed to be more about the money than the service in my case.Read the fine print of any contract you sign and make sure the offer a pernament solution.

Wouldn’t bother tbh

Wouldn’t bother tbh, paid 4K and wear my retainer everyday for the rest of my life, for 1k more I could of gone to turkey and never have to whiten my teeth or wear a plastic thing in my mouth for 22 hours per day ever again.
Total waste of money and time, dentist was a waste of space as well. GO GET A REAL BRACE, or go get new teeth

don’t waste your money!!!

Finished my Invisalign treatment 2 months ago, front tooth moves daily!!! Cannot go back to the dentist because he clearly did not know what he was doing in not matching my bite. Absolutely NO way of contacting Invisalign whatsoever. Tried emailing, Instagram and twitter and no response once I raise a complaint. Wasted almost £3,000 because I can’t wear my retainer to keep my teeth straight because it’s making my front tooth wobbly. GO WITH A DIFFERENT SERVICE

So what do you get for your £3000?

So what do you get for your £3000?

You get an initial consultation where they show you how fabulous your teeth will look at the end of the treatment...wow!

They then make you invisalign braces, but dont worry they make the whole 18 months supply for you and give them all to you in a carry bag (really!)

So how often do i have to visit the dentist to check if my teeth are moving in the right place? - You dont, you paid for the treatment upfront, we made our money and we dont care! (oh!)

But my braces are defective? - Just use a nail file that should sort them (thanks for that!)

My teeth really are not moving as they should do, can I make an appointment to see you? - No, the nurse will take a photo and email to me me, and i can see from there (again, thanks for that!)

My teeth are really in pain and giving me migraines, is it possible to see you so you can check my teeth please? - it is not necessary lots of people suffer pain and discomfort, if you want to send me a photo I can have a look (thanks you really do care about me and not the £3k i gave you when you gave me the big carry bag full of plastic teeth)

Dont worry though you can speak to Invisalign UK, they will help!...NOT!!!

They said if you are unhappy with your doctor you simply complete a 'Transfer form' and you can visit another invisalign clinic.

Thats great thank you, and this wont cost me any more?
YES, you have to pay again! - you will have to pay for every consultation with your new doctor!

And I get a refund from the old doctor? - NO, that is a financial matter between you and your doctor (thanks, thanks for you help!)

And Invisalign UK will support me with this?
No, Sorry, nothing to do with us!

This is all true and a horrible horrible experience as well as the loss of £3000

Ordered last Monday

Ordered last Monday, was sent a tracking code for my impression kit, but the tracking code didn't work, so I emailed letting them know, they said the impression kit was on the way nonetheless and to wait and to let them know if it hadn't come by Friday and they would send out another one. Friday came and went, nothing arrived. I emailed them Friday letting them know, no reply, I emailed them again Monday with no reply. Not a great start to my experience, so far would not recommend.

Temporary solution, expensive, waste of money.

Honestly so sad and now kick myself after spending so much money. After completing the course of retainers, I've had the aftercare retainers in for nearly two years after being told by the dentist I'll have to wear retainers a short while after the initial course is done. (Which you have to pay for extra for and also I was not told until I nearly finished the course)

My teeth were straight, only had gaps.. Now after all this time, even having them out a little, the gaps come back. Didn't know I'd have to wear them even now after years. It's a temporary solution. Don't invest tons of money for this high maintenance product that does not last when you stop them. Plus the cost of replacing them is extortionate and they easily stain. After anyone asks, I stuck 100% to the instructions. Still does not last.
