Hi Roger,
We are sorry to hear that the way the courses are designed was not made clear to you, we would really appreciate it if you could provide us with some further feedback on any information that was unclear about how the courses are delivered. We have nine different assessment methods so you do not have to write assignments if you do not wish to. If you have any questions on any of the requirements you can contact Learning Support at any time via phone or email. You have access to unlimited support and you can access this easily by scheduling a call with your tutor, emailing them directly or emailing the tutor team as a whole. Due to the flexibility of your course this is the most effective and supportive way to ensure our learners can receive the expert guidance they need when they need it, and in a way that works for them. There is no need to push for help, it is readily available for all our learners. Roger we would request you email kimberley.jayne@ioscm.com to share any feedback or concerns you have or for any additional support you require.
Thank You

Really bad experience

Really bad experience. They took the money and never helped about your course or notes. Just you need to submit the assessments without any help. No online classes or anything to help the students. Not providing any notes/books or websites to help you. If you use any notes from online platforms like google/ websites they failed you and even disqualified you. Waooo really great.Don’t waste your money please.

( Whatever is available for study there nothing to do with assessments or questions? We can not find anything related to answer the questions in assessments, So we have to search online and websites for the study. So how youc an say you providing? Even got the email they will disqualified me because I used google or 3rd party study books, how you can do when taking heavy feeses? Nothing to do with the courses, you just need money and disqualify the students)

Hi Viv,
There are hundreds of resources available linked directly to the study material and the assessments. Without knowing who you are, I cannot offer any further guidance.
Learners HAVE to use 3rd part books and resources to carry out independent research. Take a look at the other reviews, many of them talk about the great resources available.
We would also never disqualify someone for using google but we would refer them as google is NOT an academic source and therefore cannot be relied on.
Your final sentence also is lacking in context. We have disqualified less than 5 learners in the past 12 months. All of them were given 6 opportunities each to stop cheating and do their assessments correctly. Do you think it would be fair to let some learners cheat? We do not. It is vital, in line with OFQUAL regulations, that learners submit assessments that they have produced correctly. We will not reduce our standards because a learner does not agree with them.
Again, without knowing what email you are referring to, I cannot confirm what may have been misinterpreted.
We do strongly suggest you contact us via email as requested yesterday with the evidence you refer to as we are confident this is a case of misunderstanding.

Regards
The IoSCM Team

Hi Viv,
As this review differs greatly from the actual support, resources and tools available to all IoSCM learners we request you provide further information.
Firstly unlimited support is available, you can request help at any time.
We do not advertise or claim to offer online classes so a learner should not expect us to provide these.
Extensive resources are made available to learners, along with a bibliography of recommended reading to accompany the learning materials provided by IoSCM. We do indeed provide these.
It is correct learners cannot use Google and they cannot plagiarise other sources of information. We do not fail learners though! If a learner submits work that is produced by AI or is plagiarised or produced from non-academic sources such as google, we absolutely will refer that work back to the learner. We provide OFQUAL regulated professional qualifications. Learners need to produce assessments themselves that show their understanding of the topic - not what a computer has produced.
It would be a waste of money to embark on a learning journey not to learn but instead to take shortcuts to pass the course.
If a learner is referred, they are given multiple opportunities to correct their below-standard work and resubmit. If a learner repeatedly carries out academic misconduct, then yes, they would be disqualified. It would not be fair to other learners if we allowed some people to cheat on their assessments. This only happens when the learner ignores multiple warnings. You will find this is standard in all education settings.
If the hundreds of resources on The IoSCM Hub, the reading materials, and the bibliography of recommended reading are not enough to guide learners where to carry out their independent research, the tutor for that subject can also make recommendations. This is explained clearly during induction. We cannot do your independent research, which is why some elements of the course are at the learners' discretion. Again, this is expected practice in education.
Viv if you are still a learner with IoSCM we recommend you revisit the support that is readily available to you, Please contact our Head of Education directly with any genuine concerns you may have - kimberley.jayne@ioscm.com
Kind Regards

My IoSCM Experience

I had a rewarding experience in my IoSCM program.
Learning on the platform was made easy and effective by the accessibility to the study materials, direct communication with tutors, speed and quality of tutor feedback.
Without a doubt, i will recommend IoSCM to anyone considering to pursue a qualification.

My experience during the course journey

I appreciated the content and quality of courses, the platform structure and the rigour of tutors regarding the contents of the assignments submission.
On the other side, I didn't appreciate the time taken for feedback. I think 10 open working days is too much.

A good study for improving supply chain management at the managerial level

I’ve completed level7 and it was very fulfilling level. I had to read a lot which gave me better understanding of courses. I only found that some study units could give more detail regarding the subject of the assignments. However, it is easy to contact to instructors in case there is a question.
It is perfect challenge if you like doing self-study. It requires a big dedication and serious amount of detailed study.

Level 3 great course, However….

Was a good course and passed, however there were several mistakes found throughout the course and caused confusion when trying to repeat the situation and even mistakes on the examples.
Some marking took longer than advised, however others were quicker so on average was within there lead time.

I am still in the beginning stages of my level 3 course and so far so good. It would be great if there was a goal monitor, for example, by such a date you should be at this point in your studies. This will help us to monitor our progress and know when to step up the pace. Overall, I love what I have chosen to study.

Hi Lu-cinda,
Thank you for your review. Our courses are designed to be completely flexible in terms of how learners should progress through their units of study as every learner chooses their own units, and they vary in size. For learners who want to create themselves a timetable of deadlines, there is a template on the learning platform you can utilise to do this. We also keep in touch with you to discuss your progress and ensure you are staying on track. These checks will help you with planning your time management.
Kind Regards

Pros and Cons of the level 5 SCM course

I am currently studying the level 5 Supply chain management course and I am 4 months in, here are some pros and cons I've found so far:

Pros:
- plenty of choice for different modules, even though I chose a 'Supply chain management' course, there was plenty of interesting options outside this such as project management and leadership modules
- Quick marking turn arounds so I know whether I was on the right path for my first assignment

Cons
- Information varied from email queries to the induction q&a on word counts
- Very limited feedback from how to get from a 'good pass' to an 'excellent pass'. Feedback was very vague and not particular useful
- Poor response times from tutor over email and had to chase
- No in person reviews

Needs modernising

The essay titles are somewhat engaging but I have found nothing useful on the learning resource hub, no connection with other students, the study guide seems to have pulled information from various sources and so reads very clunky. The suggested bibliography is quite out of date. The platform is not user friendly. There is no guidance/support for using online academic resources or how to make appropriate use of AI. When I asked for a tutor phone call I was offered a call days away at 6.30am which is completely impractical. I have found the course a bit of a slog without human interaction. Perhaps that is just me. It is a reasonably accessible course that is flexible enough to fit around work if you can manage it. I would just like a more modern experience.

Hi TD,

The learning resource hub is designed to provide learners with access to guides such as Harvard Referencing and the command verbs linked with the assessments. If you are expecting other kinds of resources, please contact learning support, as you have access to a wide range of industry resources through your IoSCM membership. We will confirm you are accessing the correct location.

You can connect with all IoSCM learners through the forum, please utilise this at any time.

The bibliography for any unit of study should not be out of date, we are often talking about the origins of processes and therefore refer to original resources. We will not update the bibliography if it relates to content within the unit and will often select an older resource over a newer one as it is more academically appropriate.
In terms of online academic resources, this is something we cover in the group induction sessions and the same with AI (and why this is not allowed in your assessment submissions)
Most of the team work between the hours of 6.30 am and 7 pm Monday to Friday; however, the online calendars should show you many different call time slots for you to select a call time. Many of our learners request early morning or late-night calls to work around their work hours. We also have tutors available 5 days per week. If you need the calendar link resending for any team member, please reach out to them or the tutor team inbox.

Perhaps you would benefit from attending another group induction session so we can ensure you are aware of the excellent resources and support available to you.
As an online distance learning course, it is learner-driven in terms of human interaction. You can start conversations on the forum, join our LinkedIn group, and reach out to members of the IoSCM team at any time.
As we do not have your name we are unable to contact you directly to ensure you are accessing the resources available to you so please do get in touch with the team learningsupport@ioscm.com
Kind Regards
Kimberley

I'm nearly half way through my course

I'm nearly half way through my course, so far it has been straight forward to follow and my tutor is easily contactable. Given the busy nature of my current role this course allows me to tackle each module at my own pace to fit around my role. Looking forward to completing my second half of the course.

Only just started but good experience so far

Only just started a level 5 diploma but going ok so far. The learning platform isn't the most user friendly but none ever are (its just the nature of the beast).
Information is comprehensive but sometimes there is almost too much and can be overwhelming to navigate. To be fair though to IoSCM, I haven't made use of the supporty yet.
Its early days yet but so far I'd be happy to recommend IoSCM to anyone looking for further education in this industry.

Early days but all good

Learning level 5 diploma, Good communication with course adviser on initial enquiry. No issues with enrolment and payment, Had an agreed start date which was well handled, Induction to the learning platform was a little rushed to take in so took a lot of self learning initially. However an excellent call with a tutor adviser who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and explained how i need to present my work and more guidance on referencing.
Submitted first assignment and waiting on feedback currently.
