I like the product but the software have just one problem we can’t just copy a screen we need to save and did a copy of save but is a good thing for scan

As I want to use this device for multiple students, I can not use the in-ear headphones. Finding an adaptor that works with over-the-ear headphones was very difficult, and in the end, I had to get a used one from Amazon.

Ease of downloading the software and activating the system.

It took some time to discover the possibilities and work with them, but the results are astonishing. The sharpness of the scans is remarkable and is also clearly evident when scanning 80-year-old WW2 documents that are now given a digital life. Remarkably, these documents are damaged by water and on poor quality paper, but thanks to iriscan they are given a digital life and are preserved. I'm glad I was able to discover that and I will certainly recommend it to others because of the ease with which documents can be stored.

I am finding the software to be a little clunky. The finger erase does not seem to work as expected and the editing feature for unusually sized documents can skew the final image/file. It was however pretty easy to set up and figure out how to start scanning. I would have preferred a paper instruction guide rather than a digital one, but for cost-cutting, it is understanding.

I am not sure, how to use the OCR software. Can I start with it after the scan or it must be selected before. Can I use the software for pdfs which were made several days before?

The product is operating well as expected.
Anyhow the associated software has a lack of functionalities: It seems impossible to gather several scanned pages in only one "pdf" file.

The owner manual could be more explicit on how to use the device. I had a hard time to find the delete icon and figured why the document was still showing up on the right handside of the screen. Eventually I figured it up.

IRIScan Desk 6, a helpful tool for quickly and precisely scanning books for private purposes, at a very reasonable price.

Light scanner. Moves easily and exactly on the paper. But menu of the scanner not so easy to use, and sometimes not understandable how buttons on the scanner are working.

This review is a little bit overdue, as I wanted to use my new IrisScan Desk 6 Pro before writing it. To begin, I LOVE my IrisScanner! I can scan single or multiple pages FAST. I can scan books and have the pages look flat. I can hold a book open with no fingers appearing in the scan. Amazing! I bought the scanner for my father's war journals, but I will be using it often for genealogy purposes as well. I really like the extra "mouse," which I can tap with my foot while holding a book open with both hands. There are too many incredible features to discuss here. Despite the instruction book and videos, it took me a while to figure out how to use the scanner, but my questions were answered promptly by customer service. The scanner can be set up permanently or it can be set up in minutes, which is very convenient. By the way, the scanning results come out looking great!

The scanner deliver absolutely everything promised in advertizing. Easy to use and excellent results. A little problem in registering the product was solved very fast by customer support.

The delivery was quick, and the scanner was simple to set up. It has been an essential tool for scanning documents and starting to get all my paperwork organized at home.

The scanner is very handy and easily transportable. It does a great job, making clear scans and is quick at doing so. Although, the configuration and use of the control buttons can be confusing at first. All in all a good product that I would recommend to others. Thanks.

IRIScan Desk 5 Pro is working GREAT to scan Yearbooks. It scans as fast as I can turn the pages.

I haven't scanned a greater number of books as yet, but here is my opinion:--
Ease of use, books can be scanned as they are without fuss using a flatbed scanner. Software could be more stable, I encountered a few crashes requiring scanning anew. Not a problem with smaller number of pages but frustrating nevertheless. An automatic save function (at eg. a preset interval) would be welcome. That is, in a case of sudden crash - it happens without warning - one could simply proceed where interrupted. Also, ReadIris 17 crashes here when I try to save as Word docx document, pdf -- in fact every file type except jpg. I hope, the software will get better over the time.

The scanner works but not as well as I would like. The scanner delete function button does not seem to do anything. I have to delete from a computer.
The ReadIris software is not as good as I would like. I have tried it in previous versions and this version still requires too much post processing. It does not integrate graphics well. Since everything I scan seems to have graphics I have to scan them separately.
