Can I give 0 stars

Can I give 0 stars! This company poses as a true IRS entity, in reality you are paying outrageously for something you can do yourself for free! Do NOT be fooled, there is nothing special about their service.

Fighting this right now

Fighting this right now. immediately locked my debit card after I realized I had been scammed. (for $50 more they promise to send immediately?) I declined and still have pending charge of $277 . Plan to dispute charge with my bank. Called the IRS to report fraud and the EIN is legitimate. What a racket!?

PLEASE READ MY EXPERIENCE

PLEASE READ MY EXPERIENCE! I cant believe I was dumb enough to fall for this nonsense but then again, if you dont know anything about filing for an EIN, you aren't going to think anything of it. I figured nothing is free with the IRS, boy was I wrong. I was scammed out of over $200 by these losers. They should all be in prison. They only offered me a portion of my money back, but when I said I would get it through my bank, I got an email that they refunded me in full. Thought this nightmare was over BUT NOT EVEN CLOSE! Not even a week later, I get an email that I am being sent to collections for the money THEY REFUNDED ME! No joke! I got absolutely no notice from them that I owed them anything (which I didnt), or that I was being sent to collections. I had some ghetto trash collections agency called Caine & Weiner saying I owe over $300 to them now. Sorry, but I kept my paper trail. After filing complaints with the Financial Consumer Protection Bureau, and my state's Attorney General, suddenly the collections process was "dropped." Collections agency could not tell me who dropped it and why, when I asked for a paper to be mailed to me stating that it was dropped. I left a voicemail for the manager to get this mailed to me and nobody ever called me back. We are pretty sure this collections agency is in cahoots with these losers and they scam and scare people into paying all over again plus more to avoid collections and bad credit! NOT US! Sorry! We fought this tooth and nail and these losers were not going to win. We have all the proof we need. In the end, we prevailed but this experience was absolutely horrid. These people literally belong in a prison cell. THREATEN TO GO THROUGH YOUR BANK, LEAVE BAD REVIEWS everywhere, and please file complaints through these government agencies. These people must be held accountable and must be stopped. We looked up simple doc filings, LLC and the physical address is in New Mexico, Mailing address is based out of Sheridan, Wyoming. The registrant name is REGISTERED AGENTS, INC. The NM address now goes by the business name of © 2021 High Desert Corporate Filings LLC. Looks like its their MO, change business names and LLC's.

This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud! Charge $245 for an EIN to find out that I could get a free EIN and then they placed the EIN in my name when I specifically type my company name on the application. I called for a refund and the guy was very unprofessional. They are using the IRS to fraud people.

Scammers.

I have never taken the time out of my day to do a review like this until now. Almost was scammed as I see others on here were. Was filling out the information under the impression it was an actual government website until I realized there's no way they were charging that amount of money for an EIN and looked closer at the URL to realize it was a .com address. Unbelievable that a website like this isn't shut down immediately! Really people? Legit business people out here trying to get things done and people are out here setting up fake websites to steal... special place in hell...

Use at Your Own Risk!!!

I am one of the many people who were scammed by EIN Filings Service This company is posing to be the IRS, and as a result, I am out $249.

I spoke to a representative on the phone, who advised a $100 refund will be issued(and received). They also sent me a list of services they provided. I have informed this company that I am not interested in their service as I was blind sided using a company who is not affiliated with the IRS, but yet advertising as such.

The contact information they provided was:

Internal Revenue Service
Cincinnati, Ohio 45999

I have sent an email, but have not received a response. I do not wish to contact them further, All i need is a full refund because I have no interest in using their services.

SCAM ALERT!!! DANGER!

If you were scammed by this charming group, their phone number is: 888 675-9395. Demand your money back. This group needs to be investigated and closed down!

Like so many others here I thought this was a legit IRS site. They got me for $247 (which they say they have refunded but has not hit my account). It looks like if you bug them enough they will refund it. The problem is nothing says EIN until your account is charged. Also there is no warning about the charges, no heads up. As soon as my credit card number was in--wham! It took $247.

For security I closed the credit card. They emailed trying to assure me that my information was safe, but a group that so flagrantly uses fraudulent methods to gain money simply cannot be trusted.

Also they claimed they could not obtain the requested EIN due to a discrepancy between my SS# and IRS records. There is no discrepancy. So it sounds like an excuse for not having done any work.

I can't see a single review where anyone has actually received a product from EIN except the positive ones (which are way outnumbered by fraud complaints.)

Complain to the FTC and FBI.

I wish I could give ZERO stars

I wish I could give ZERO stars! I out wish I had read up on this first. I legit thought it was an IRS website and was even asking myself when did they start charging for an EIN. I had to tell them everything I would have told the real IRS and they charged $250 for this FREE service. I emailed and asked for a return call to discuss this and the representative did call me. He stared that they won't issue refund since I agreed to the service. I only agreed to the service I thought was the real IRS. The IRS should shut these people down! It is a shame to scam people out of money like this. I am on the hunt to see what I can do about reporting this site that is acting as an IRS website and I hope I find it. I won't give up until I do! They did say that they would escalate my request to upper management but could not guarantee I would get a refund and we know what that means.

*UPDATE* They first tried to tell me they would refund $150 but I was not ok with still paying $100 for a free service so said I would just file a dispute. They then asked if they could refund $200 and keep $47 for the service and I agreed. A way smaller fee than the original $247. I will know next time!

SCAM

I thought I was on the IRS website. Got charged $245 for an expedited process when it could've been free. And they made a mistake in my company´s name. I called and asked for a refund and they refused. Am disputing the charge with my credit card company and reporting them to the Texas State Attorney General. Do not use this website. Go to the IRS website if you need an EIN number.
