Do not use these people!

I set up companies for a living, and my clients came to me after EIN Filing Service left them in a lurch. This company not only prepared the wrong type of EIN, they over-charged to boot! $250 is simply egregious, even if they did the job perfectly.
Additionally, when EIN Filing Service was called for help with problems, they never responded. Do not use these people!

Absolute SCAM and worst service I have EVER received

I would give this SCAM of a company no stars if possible. Took my money, refused a refund and gave me no results, none. I was hung up on 5 times and treated so poorly by the people that answered the phone I was in shock. I cannot believe this company can continue to exist and take people's hard earned money like this. Truly do NOT use these people. Terrible service.

I am so happy I'm not the only one…

I am so happy I'm not the only dummy that fell for this scam! I am so scared they are going to identity theft all my info! Stupid mistakes happen so fast. I hope they are shut down and arrested! Thank God I realized it and called AMEX to stop the charges.

SCAM!!

SCAM!!! I ordered a birth certificate and passport 3 months ago and never received it. I was sent a number to call which was the official service for birth certificates and they had never heard of EIN and said they are not affiliated. I haven't heard from the company since and they do not have a number online.

As other people have stated....

As other people have stated....

You can go to the official irs.gov website and obtain an EIN number for your business for free... I accidentally went to this site and put in the information and hit submit, and saw they wanted money... this is when I realized my mistake in thinking this website was the legit irs.gov one.

Obviously I didn't go through with it and didn't spend the money but it was too late because I had already given them my url, ss#, and phone number etc. So, I began getting robocalls and sales pitches. Hopefully that's the only thing that happens.. I'm going to have to be on the lookout for ss# fraud too I'd imagine.

Please be careful when you are trying to get your EIN number. Save yourself hundreds of calls from scam artists and go through irs.gov

Disgusted that this company is allowed to steal and scam

I have given this company Govfilingsonline one star because I had to do so. I would have given them a zero. This company is very misleading and scam like. I wanted to get my birth certificate and filled out an application and paid $59.95 on my credit card. I never received anything. I called my credit card company and disputed it. I was at first given credit , then the charge was returned. I called the company and explained that I never received anything. The person who answered said he had sent me an application that they filled out for me. I informed him I did not request an application to be filled out for me because I could do that on my own. What I needed was my birth certificate. I was told that they are not responsible for mail delivery and there is absolutely no refunds. The company should not be allowed to steal your money and then on top of it be arrogant. The rep I spoke certainly was arrogant and so confident that there is nothing I can do. I told him I was calling the Better Business Bureau and he simply said " Go ahead, have fun." This company is not a government agency. They should not even be on the internet when googling how to get your birth certificate.

Just like every other review SCAM

Just like every other review this website is a total SCAM.
Save yourself $275 when you can go to the actual IRS website for free.
Customer service is rude and the supervisor will get hot and flustered easy and hang up on you.

I'm suing the company for identity fraud because on the IRS website for an EIN before you even start the application it states "UNAUTHORIZED USE IS FEDERALLY PROSECUTABLE".

This website is unauthorized use and impersonates on the real IRS government website. The only way they legally have permission to use your information is if theyr a third party GOVERNMENT website. They are not. Only a third party website. Being overwhelmed in business endeavors makes you miss the fine print sometimes.

They don't do refunds. If you are miraculously able to get ahold of customer support other than email be prepared to have a group of women get hot with you and hang up on you when they get frustrated.

Worst experience.
Complete scam.
Don't waste your money.

If you have wasted your money give them the BIGGEST headache. Write reviews where you can. Since they scan with SENSITIVE information blow up their emails. Get this website shut down.!

Ask for attorney information. Give the supervisor a headache. Don't let them shove it up your butt and definitely don't thank them for it.

Grimey people and grimey service!!

Report these people and report this website to the FTC @ ftc.gov, on any website and review place you can.

The supervisor, Angela needs to be reported as well.

They overcharge like crazy

They overcharge like crazy, paid $100 for replacement documents that otherwise would have been less than $20 through official government websites. They threw me off by being “.gov,” and seeing their ratings were supposedly 6.1/10, but you can literally find no written reviews online. There is even a place for reviews on their website with none there. Then they disclose the government fees on top of your order (which are way less) AFTER you order. Then there is a super rude message about how you agreed to terms and conditions however it’s completely misleading until after your order. Do not waste your time or money. I have never even written a review before but I had to for this place because it is such a terrible source I truly believe it should be shut down.

This company is misleading the public terribly

Anyone giving this company more than one star obviously works for the company. There should be a rating for less-than-zero starts. This site masquerades as an IRS website when it is not, and charges ridiculous fees to receive a Federal Tax ID than can be obtain from a REAL IRS web page for free. Why do the Feds allow this blatant criminal activity with their name on it to occur?

Just go to a real IRS web site and apply.

The website IS NOT AN IRS WEBSITE

The website IS NOT AN IRS WEBSITE! They impersonate the federal government and demand $245 filing fee for something that is done for free on the IRS website. This website is a fraud having a website with no indication that they are NOT the IRS. Their URL literally says "IRS" that is fraudulent.

You will pay a LOT for something that is already free and easy to get from IRS.gov

I almost fell for this absurd rip off.

I needed to get an EIN for my LLC and did a search for "irs.gov ein" thinking it would be an easy way to get to the part of the IRS site that I needed.

Despite my knowledge of how online marketing works, my brain was glitchy and I clicked on ad with the URL irs-gov-tax[dot]com/IRS-EIN.

My glitchy brain did not catch the ".com". Had I, I would never have clicked on it.

But I did, and the site it took me to did not raise any red flags, but it should have. So I started completing the paperwork and hit the submit button on the first screen.

The next screen wanted payment information--and THAT was a HUGE red flag with sirens because I already knew that GETTING AN EIN IS FREE.

I went directly to irs.gov and, right on the homepage, is a BIG obvious button that says, "Employer Identification Number (EIN)".

Getting my EIN via the IRS website was EASY and FREE.

There is absolutely NO benefit to using this company to get your EIN. It does not make it easier (and the process on the IRS site could not be easier anyway).
