Unprofessional rude cab controller

So I booked a cab for Christmas Day I for my family of 5 booked for 11.45am as I needed to be collected so we could arrive within the time suggested by the restaurant. That being at least half hour before.

The booking was confirmed and I received a text message informing me that we would be be collected at 11.45 we waited and waited until I decided to call the cab company at 12.10 only to be informed that the cab had been cancelled as we should have booked a car for six.
I tried to explain that I had received the text message informing me that the cab had been approved and booked only to be told off by the controller that it was in fact my fault after trying to reason with her she told me to book with another firm and hung up.

Of course I was shocked thinking how was I going to get to the restaurant at the timeline. I phone another cab company and was told that they were fully booked after trying another six I finally was given a time. And off I went with my family only to receive a text informing me that another cab was outside of my home waiting to pick me up this was almost hour after the original booking.
Whilst I did manage to speak with the driver who kept on repeating that he was waiting outside of my home and what was he to do I just suggested that he speak with his controller.

During our family Christmas dinner I received a text to say that a driver would collect us at the original booked return. I didn’t respond to the message as I had already arranged another return booking.

May I suggest that the controller get some training in good communication skills as I found her to be rude and extremely unprofessional. Avoid this company at all costs if you want to avoid disappointment. Things could have turned out very differently had I not to be able to get a replacement at such short notice. Me and my family would have lost out £400.00 for the booking and it would have turned our perfect day in to a nightmare.
